Your Duty,
Feeding.
Cooking food.
Putting the food in containers and freezing it.
Taking food from the freezer to thaw daily.
Preparing and reheating food.
Feeding the child.
Ensuring that when going outdoors or changing environments that the child has sufficient spare clothing.
Ensuring that the child has sufficient clean clothing.
Changing nappies.
Bathing & Personal Hygiene of the child.
Cuddling.
Ensuring the child stays at a comfortable temperature.
Suggesting the purchase of more educational toys appropriate to his age to further his development.
Reading to the child.
Talking and singing.
Ensuring that the child does not watch television until he/she is 2 years old, and then ensuring that the television is approved, planned, educational television only.
To ensure that the child is in a safe environment and out of danger at all times.
To look out for and avoid potential hazards.
Ensuring the child is fed well to ensure abundant nutrition for healthy growth.
Ensuring the child gets enough sleep during the day.
Ensuring the child gets enough outdoor time, fresh air, and sunshine on his/her skin.
Assisting the mother.
Getting water and the cushion ready for breastfeeding.
Occasionally reheating meals and snacks for the mother to ensure she has sufficient nutrition during breastfeeding.
Bringing the child to the mother to request that the she provide the child with a breast feed at appropriate intervals.
Ensuring that the environment is kept tidy.
Ensure that toys are put away after use.
Put away bowls, plates, cups etc after use.
Wipe benchtops, tables, and surfaces after use.
Fill and run the dishwasher, empty it, and keep the kitchen clean.
