As the First Gentleman, his only role is to support his wife at home and pursue is own career by finding something useful (work) to do for himself. Though soon, contractors and some miscreants seeking appointments will not allow the man rest. |

Tolexander: Why can't we rejoice. Have you forgotten those that said the following: - APC merger will not work. - They can not register their name. We will have PDP agents claim the name "APC". - The leaders will not work together. - Amaechi and others will not decamp because they have nowhere to run to. - There is no vacancy in Aso Rock. - Atiku will buy all the delegates with his dollars at the convention. - APC will not last a year. Today who is going into extinction is not the very same boostful PDP? 2 Likes |

Tolexander: When it comes to giving the Children a vibrant platform to have their voice and inculcate leadership skills, you can continue looking at it as a half empty cup. But the rest of us will keep seeing it as a half filled efforts that needs more work and fine-tuning to perfection. The choice is yours. |
Politics / 16 Years Of Failure: Pdp's 6 Steps To Redemption by egift(m): 11:37am On Nov 03, 2015 |
The 16 Years Of Failure The People's Democratic Party did not just loss the 2015 Presidential Election out of the blue. For the last 16 years in has been in power, the Nigerian masses have had to endure so much from poverty, unemployment, deaths, hunger, underdevelopment, to impunity, arrogance of those in the corridors of power, massive looting, flouting of the law by those in and around the PDP. The infamous slogan of the PDP "share the money" did not drop from the tin-air. We also saw how contracts were inflated and kickbacks so high that projects were abandoned and re-awarded without anyone held responsible for the looted funds. It got so bad that under the PDP, if you are bidding for any contract and you did consider what will be paid to those signing your contract, you will be consider a not being interested in the bid. With the last 6yrs of Jonathan not having any path of redemption in sight and stealing not even considered corruption, Nigerians had no other choice but to send PDP out of Aso Rock. Unattended Problems In The PDP As the few left in the PDP try to quickly return to power, the question on everyone's lips is: Have the PDP returned back to the drawing board as Nigerians demanded and review how they wasted 16yrs and looted us dark? What have PDP done about the real problems that got them kicked out? From the failed leadership, looting, arrogance, parallel factions, multiple candidates, stolen mandates, broken promises, the I-Don't-Give-A-Dam attitude, etc. These issues will not be swept under the carpet nor be treated as if it does not matter. PDP can't be voted back to power carrying the very same garbage that drowned them in failure. Nigerians will not embrace the PDP when it is still plagued with acute affinity for corruption. Retaining Failed Team Leaders As a political institution, the PDP cannot retain the same team of failures and expect to be taking seriously. Retaining the very same team that sank the largest political party in Africa and whose only strategy in a Presidential Election is insulting and attacking their opponent means the PDP have not even started the process of looking itself in the mirror. The very first action of the PDP apart from taking responsibilities of their 16yrs of failures will including either retraining its failed team on better ways of doing things OR flush them out and bring in a set of new handlers who will handdle things better. Lame Opposition Strategy All through the 2015 General Election, the PDP attacked, bad-mouthed, lied, misinformed, twisted the facts, fabricated lies, misled and mocked their opponents and these failed miserably. Now if the PDP believe that continuing with those failed strategies will return them to power, then they are in a deeper problem than we thought. If the PDP want to be taking seriously and be considered for any other political relevance in Nigeria, they must do the following: 1. Accept responsibility for the 16yrs of failure without reservation. 2. Tender an unreserved apology for the harm and wrong the inflicted on Nigerians. 3. They must return what was looted. 4. The party must re-brand itself as a decent political organization and abandon their evil ways of doing politics. 5. Sack the failures like Metu and shun touts like FFK from being a mouthpiece of the party. 6. Elect a new sets of Nigerians to do things better. Nigerians have continually given PDP free advice in hope for a credible opposition which will be good for our polity. We hope they take it. But should PDP continually wallow in its current carnage and nuisance, it will sink to extinction in no distant time. - Egift CC: lalasticlala 6 Likes 1 Share |
Politics / Re: Why It Is Logical To Blame PDP For Putting Nigeria In this Quagmire by egift(m): 4:41am On Nov 03, 2015 |
PDP should man up and take responsibility for it 16yrs stewardship. Political parties are made up of Nigerians, if a new party comes up tomorrow, it will draw its members from Nigerian politicians you see today, it will be be absurd for APGA to deny what is going on in Anambra today, like the PDP are shamelessly doing. 2 Likes |

Any money given to Wada will be looted. Idris Wada has spent the last 4yrs mismanaging Kogi - any money you give him now will be spent in funding his rigging schemes and will not be used in paying salaries which he refused to pay. This debt is not inherited from another administration - it is his legacy, not paying the workers. 11 Likes 3 Shares |
