Possibly. In all my years in a few African countries and Europe, I've never seen a northerner either. I've always wondered about this for years

I can tell you now as someone that has lived in the middle east for 6 years. I only met one northerner in my time in Qatar and Dubai and he was from Kaduna. I have never met a proper Hausa or Fulani abroad either in Asia or Europe or Australia. I don't know about America
My friends that lived in the middle east told me there are Hausa's there but they don't relate with other nigerians

Guess you have inferiority complex. Why do you keep on repeating the words "Super rich" are some my friends Super rich when they travelled? You can see a northerner that went to public universities and later on traveled to Europe for his PGD but still come back, ask me why we always come back and I will tell you the reason stop hiding behind the low self esteem mentality of the super-rich defence.

Agreed we have poor people that can't afford traveling same goes to south they have poor people that can't afford it either. Some middle class in the south take loans, and sell off their family-landed properties before they can afford to travel.

Like I said I don't have any reason to relocate abroad like millions of northerners like me.

Well, you sounded like they travel for holidays/vacations, over the weekend business, board meeting and then come back.

If you mean those that travel for things like studies, they don't have to be super rich but they have to be rich or have rich sponsors as well - we all know the number of people that can afford that in the north are limited. And those that can afford that don't embrace education. The few that embrace education are more likely to go to Islamic countries in East and North africa or some middle eastern or Muslim majority countries in Asia.

The whole point is, Hausa people are not noticeable in Europe not because they don't like to stay, but because they number of them that travel are very limited. If not, a lot of southerners travel for education and still come back home but we're still very much here.

I'm well traveled myself so I'm not talking for talking sake

Clearly a typo. They can't equate London with US and I'm sure Russia never mentioned this. A nuke can wipe out a city as they correctly stated but can't wipe out a country

Like I said before a northerner that is willing to travel won't have much challenges as a Southerner would have.

The VO knows that we always come back and we don't do drugs, but they know that the probability of a Southerner returning is slim.

You don't come back because you don't travel. Only the super rich can afford to travel and come back. This post isn't about the multimillionaires that can afford to go for business meetings, social functions, vacations. The super rich from the south get visa easily too and they always come back. Stop mixing this thing up

God bless you sir. There are even significant number of multigenerational black Palestinians who trace their origin to Northern Nigeria. Like a century ago, their ancestors moved from Nigeria to settle in Palestine in solidarity with the Palestinians and Islam. Some stayed back while some kept moving back and forth. There's an ancient trade route from northern Nigeria to the whole Northern Africa that's still active till today for moving goods to Northern Africa.

There's a particular popular cap Northern Africans and Arabs wear, they source it from Northern Nigeria. In fact, in one aljazeera documentary, an Arabian merchant in Egypt or so acknowledged that they source those caps only from Northern Nigeria because that's only where the original authentic brand of that cap comes from.
There's so much ignorance most Youths in the South have about the North and it's so sad.
The North has produced a lot of best graduating students in the top southern universities more than most even know.

If you attend top Nigerian universities located in the SW like UNILAG, UI and OAU to study the top courses like Pharmacy, Medicine, Engineering, Maths/Statistics, Agriculture, you must have met at least one of those Northerners. They are geniuses and most are so integrated that you may not even know that they are Northerners. Some speak Yoruba very fluently and most that I know are from Kano, Kaduna and Borno. Kano leads though, probably because of their huge population I can't say 100% or as a state policy. The few I know are proteges of Kwankwaso

Smh. I can see that your stark ignorance is giving you blissful satisfaction. Go on and keep wasting your time and life scoffing

Oga your epistles are unnecessary. Northerners are the least educated region in Nigeria - by a very very large margin. That doesn't mean you'll not see one smart and intelligent one occasionally. If they embrace education, you'll see that more often because they're humans and race or ethnicity has less to do with intelligence. Race and ethnicity only affects intelligence when their way of life is anti education like we have in the north

The truth is, northerners travel outside Nigeria more than any other tribe in the country. The reason you clueless southerners don't see it as common enough as you think is, we travel in silence, we do our business their in silence, we study in silence and even come back into the country in silence.

The only few southerners that do travel out of the country are all into illegal things like drugs, Internet fraud, child trafficking and all sorts of international crimes one can think of. If the western world catches and deports back a Nigerian, it's simply Emeka or Tunde and you will never find Musa on the list. Of course this is the same reason we now have a drug lord president from one of the major tribes in Nigeria, not northerner.

Below is a list of 77 most wanted Nigerian criminals as published by FBI. They all comprised of Igbos and Yorubas and not a single Hausa man.

1. Valentino Iro AKA Obinna
2. CHUKWUDI CHRI STOGUNUS IGBOKWE
3. JERRY ELO IKOGHO , aka J Man
4. ADEGOKE MOSES OGUNGBE aka PP
5. ALBERT LEWIS CATHEY aka ALB
6. TITYAYE MARINA MANSBANGURA aka MARINA
7. CHUKWUDI COLLINS AJAEZE, aka Thank You Jesus
8. AUGUSTINE NNAMDI aka JAZZ
9. CHARLES OHAJIMKPO aka Giggs
10. CHIMAROKE OBASI

Full list here: https://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/headlines/348131-full-list-of-77-nigerians-charged-by-fbi-for-massive-fraud-in-america.html?tztc=1

On a final note, stop deceiving yourself that the North doesn't travel, they do more than any other tribe but they do everything in silence. Like I mentioned earlier, the few ones among you that do end up in committing crimes that is why you are always on the news destroying Nigeria's image in the eyes of foreigners.

See this one, who you wan deceive? You can only deceive people that don't travel. Northerners' names don't appear because only the very rich among you travel and they're very few in number. In the middle East and north Africa where northerners go to, they're fully represented in the crime scene

We travel out but just for vacation, study and business but we always come back to our home state.

I and my siblings with friends have travelled to various Western countries, but we came back after what took us there.

Also, Northerners get their visa with ease as long as you applied for it and willing to travel, The VO won't even ask so many questions if they see you are from Northern Nigeria.
Stop lying. Northerners are Nigerians and use use the Nigerians passport. Quota system only works to your advantage in Nigeria or in any venture where Nigerian government has a say. In the case of applying for visa, it doesn't work. Don't ask me how I know - I lived in Abuja for years and did business with people from the North including core northerners when I was back in Nigeria

My Igbo friend said USA is the capital of the world cheesy. We travel to western countries for education, businesses and work, Come back afterwards. Some choose to spend their lives there.

For instance, their are many pharmaceutical companies in Kano, they send their kids abroad to study and come back to establish in the manufacturing sector or market consumables imported straight from abroad, franchise etc
Read the profile of the newly appointed naseni DG. You will get the jerk.

I have lived in many states in Nigeria due to my father's job. There are worldly things you will get to in Kano with exception of Lagos, I repeat with the exception of Lagos

That is nepotism no matter how much you try to call it and it's the highest form of corruption. How can Nigeria be better when people like you come online to talk bad against people following merit and due process? Everything should be by merit and due process, and average northerner don't care about laws - they only care about Islamic and Shariah laws. I read somewhere that Tinubu alledgely presented a forged Toronto certificate but Osibanjo was able to use his tenacity to let him off the hook.

My question is, if Tinubu actually went to CSU, did why did he present a Toronto certificate in the past? Or did he attend both CSU and Torontu University? And what did he actually study? Was it business administration or economics? The more you try to understand this Tinubu issue, the more it doesn't make any sense

Did you read the write up at all.
Education is the ability to unlearn and learn.
Yorubas actually pioneered nollywood but lost track at some points.
But nollywood was started by Yorubas, that’s the point of the op.

Yorubas has never dominated nollywood and they never claimed to have dominated until now. During thr colonial era, different ethnic groups shoot some mushroom plays including the Yorubas. Hausa have theirs, Edos have theirs, Igbos have theirs etc. It was nothing big neither was it an industry or the movies created for commercial purposes or commercial quantities for distribution. It was the Igbo that at a point created a standard movie industry known today as Nollywood - while the Hausas and the Yorubas expanded their own local branches instead of merging with the mainstream Igbo controlled nollywood.

The Igbo controlled movie industry is what is known as nollywood, Hausa called theirs Kannywood but Yoruba and the Igbo language movies didn't create separate names for theirs that's the only reason Yoruba can wake up today and tag their movies as nollywood movies.
TV/Movies / Re: Yorubas Started Nollywood, Own It —Aisha Lawal, Actress And Scriptwriter by ehikwe22: 9:28am On Aug 27, 2023
Yoruba movie industry has really catch up and performing very well now but that doesn't mean they own Nollywood. For thr past 30 years of my life where I've been the AGR bracket of awareness, I've always heard, seen and known the Igbos as the face of nollywood and everybody in Africa, Europe, and America everywhere I've been to and I have friends in that knows nollywood always Link it with the Igbo. Igbo people neglected Igbo version of nollywood and projected the English version which is the version that sold all over the world and every human in this world always mention Igbo and Igbo culture - white people call me Igwe when we joke, they heard that from nollywood.

How come because the Yoruba rebranded in 2022 they suddenly became the owners of nollywood? This is betrayal of the highest order. Don't try to change history because you're now on an advantaged position with big platform. Igbo nollywood died when they started mass creation of low budget movies and the Yoruba used this opportunity to take advantage of an already built brand - it's not bad as we're all Nigerians. But give glory to whom it's due.

Even in music, Yorubas only started dominating since about 5 years ago.

Just be a man and live your life and be ready for whatever from the opposite sex. If she misbehaves, dump her and move ahead - no emotional attachment.

99% of men that call themselves alpha males are obsessed with women and that makes them simps

Remi Tinubu made a very big point I see many people don't understand till now. You can't wait for government for every single little thing you want to do or you are capable of doing.
Something is definitely wrong with you. Yes, there has always been suffering, but if you are rate the suffering during different government, if 16 years of PDP had 4, Buharis tenure took it to 8 and Tinubu's tenure took it to perfect 10. In this case, someone's complaining about Tinubu or Buhari as if there was no suffering in other previous tenures are not wrong
