bigbroda: So annoying because my friend had paid that $1500 Ontario application fee....and then few weeks after, she got ITA via EE! As it is i don't even think there is a refund policy in place for circumstances like this.....waste of hard earned cash! |

jaymashap: Yes you do - it's part of the requirement for eligibility. I'll advise you start reading this thread from page [0]. Only then will you get a good understanding of the process. All the best |

Morbolar: Hi - I don't see any reason why you cannot get ITA same day as completing your Job Bank registration. To be double sure, log into your EE profile and check that the Job Bank registration has been reflected. It will tell you on your EE profile. I hope this helps... 1 Like |

Java47: Hi - I'll give this a try. Q1. You can edit the fund in the pre-populated part of your ITA form. I can't recall the exact section now, but just take time to go through your form. It is there. Q2. You choice of payment prompt is in the early part of your post ITA form. I think it's the 4th or 5th question once you start filling your post ITA form. It has been advised (on this thread) to pay all the fees upfront (that's if you have it now though) so as to avoid any unnecessary delays. Q3. I think the full name of the document is "Affidavit of Gift Deed" [lawyers in the house can correct this if I am wrong]. So, No - you don't need an affidavit along with the Gift Deed. Hope this helps? |

Penluv: Yes the 90 days is the start to finish duration. Once you log into your IRCC account, you will see the tab that tells you the days you have left until submission. This is helpful to track how much time you've got left. |

Penluv: Hi - Q1) "I have not submitted the 1st application after I received ITA". This isn't very clear bro. Kindly explain. You cannot received ITA until your application is submitted so I'm confused here. When you get your ITA, you have 90 days to complete the eAPR forms (i.e submit finally). Only after all the online biographical information that has been entered is complete will a “personalized” document checklist be generated by the system. You have to upload all documenst and submit within the 90 days which starts counting from when you received ITA. Q2) If you realise your funds will be less than what you indicated when you were filling your EE profile, I believe you can edit it but make sure it is not lower than the required amount on the CIC website. Q3) No idea - but I am assuming Lagos Island maybe your closest (not sure though) |

Afamdi12: The address on your UK PCC can be either (1) a UK address if you are currently living in the UK (2) a Nigerian address if you are currently living in Nigeria. Summary is that the address on you UK PCC will be the address you CURRENTLY live. The address on your UK pcc has to be the address you currently live that is why they ask you to submit proof of address when applying for the PCC. You have to be careful to ensure all your documents have the same address. You cannot have an old address on your UK PCC, and then have a new/different address on you Statement of Accounts (for e.g.) That doesn't sound right to me & it may be picked up. You have to be consistent. Hian! |

Penluv: No ideas bro...that's why I skipped them. Sowie. I think you made a mistake in Q1 though...did you mean to say "do I need gift deed"? you surely need PoF for you application. |

Penluv: Yes 2 statements of account from two DIFFERENT banks will suffice. It is advisable to provide a uk address for them to post the cert to...then you get someone at that address to scan it to you. This will obviously be someone you know (friend or family). It's faster that way then giving a nigeria postal address. |

OYASALOF: No it is not the address of where you lived in the uk that should be on your proof of address. If you are out of the uk, then you use the address of where you currently reside. Proof of address can be two statements of account from different banks. |

HTC2017: I assume they will use credible currency conversion webpages e.g oanda To be safe though leave a bit of allowance i.e. + or - a few hundred Canadian dollars. Out of curiosity, I've just checked oanda and $15143CAD= N3,488,500....AS AT TODAY oooooo 1 Like |

HTC2017: Between ITA or between AOR ![]() Officially, the PR process is 6 months. Some people have gotten it quicker and some have gotten it much more later. So, it depends really. Just ensure you tidy up your own end well i.e. make sure you submit all documents accurately, ticking all requirements and format. Leave the rest to Baba God. Shikena. 1 Like |

OYASALOF: Perks answered your question at the top of this page...and that's a very good answer. You have to keep the money there till you board your flight to Canada. |

temitope06: A "signature of account details" letter will suffice. That's what I got from GTBank plus my 6 months statement of account. My letter was addressed to: Central Intake Office (CIO) Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) Sydney, Nova Scotia Canada. Hope this helps...? 4 Likes 1 Share |

temitope06: 6 months sounds reasonable then. Fix it asap so we don't begin to hear stories that touch, lol. ....you mean you still haven't submitted? The person that said you are a Snr ITA recipient wasn't kidding then. Are you sure your 90 days isn't up... Hian! 1 Like |

optionese: ....should he be mindful of the FD tenure? E.g. He fixes the funds for 1 year...& CIC states that the whole PR process is 6 months max. Just thinking out loud here...may or may-not matter. |

victor101: Hmmmmm....this story isn't sitting well with me at all. I'll advise you handle your application yourself. Do you have any concerns about doing it yourself...? Its not rocket scrience to be honest. Please read from page (0) & then ask any questions. We'll guide you through as much as we can. |

Can someone please help with this enquiry... I'm currently filling the post ITA form for a friend. I have filled all the sections and on the main page that has the upload button the status of each section is showing as "complete". However, when I open each individual section and click the "completeness check" tab at the top, it shows "error...mandatory fields not completed". I hope I'm making sense... Has anyone experienced this? I'm not very concerned because all the tabs on the main upload page show "complete" and I believe the system will not allow me upload documents till each tab is complete...right...? Please clarify. |

revlane: (1) I'll suggest you put English. That's our 1st language. lol. (2) upload degree certificates + IELTS result + ECA report. 4 Likes |

Can someone please help answer this my 'out of the box' questions - (1) Under normal circumstances (i.e. all documents submitted accurately and correctly), what's the maximum processing time for the PR application? I mean the time from AOR to PR issued...? (2) When IRCC request for passport, how long do they hold on to it for...weeks / months? Many thanks! |

temitope06: Thanks Ore |

40manlappy: Oh wow - now, I'm getting worried. So, I went for my medicals on the 16th of March and I requested a copy of my results when completed. This was sent to me on the 27th of March. Submitted e-Apr 31st March & got AOR almost immediately. I just checked my CIC account and the section "Review of Medical Results" still reads "You do not need a medical Exam". Apparently nothing has changed since (approximately 3 weeks) I completed my medical. Is this normal? Any one experienced or experiencing this? I will double check with the hospital today to make sure they have sent all they have to send to IRCC. |
