MummyJaygirls: Posted PP Friday, they received it Monday, MyCIC account updated to "Approved" on Tuesday, PP sent back on Wednesday & courier delivered to my house address today. The caveat is that I submitted from outside Nigeria ...so I guess that's why it was mega fast. 5 Likes |

Final Status Update. Hi e-Fam – I received my PP today with the Canadian stamp on it & all associated travel documents enclosed. It’s just beginning to sink in, lol I know I’m expected to ‘graduate” to our senior thread on Nairaland i.e. “Living in Canada” ….so with time, I’ll gradually wean myself off this thread. Thank God for the months gone by...and thanks to y’all for your help + contributions. Gracias. 37 Likes |

jelmusboy: Hi - You don't need to send transcripts and certs to WES. WES course by course evaluation will take care of this. You will have to request for an upgrade of your evaluation with WES and ask that the ECA be sent directly to the governing body related to your profession. A copy will be sent to you as well. All the best! |

Wura27: ITABABE and Wura27 - There's no need to be agitated (hard as that is). The norm is that from NA to IP2 is approximately 3-5weeks. Just calm down bros/sis. It will end in Praise. 5 Likes |

Spiritualgal: I found this on the CIC website. It's worth taking note of.... Applicants are instructed to indicate that their education was completed by correspondence by typing in brackets {by correspondence} on the same line as the education institution name found in the Education Background Information tab of GCMS. The discretion remains with the officer to decide if a police certificate is required for the country of the education institution 1 Like |

DeepDarkTunnel: I will explain this to CIC in an LOE. The same way you have explained it to us. They are the only ones that can shed light on this puzzling matter. Don't worry much about it (as hard as that is though) All the best! |

MostBlessed: It is indeed a long wait, but don't worry about it. My IP2 to PPR was 14 days...when most Naija files move from IP2 to PPR in 4-7days. Drink from the well of patience...the finish line is in view. 3 Likes |

omesanni: Hi - I would add the one year you completed at that school. So 1+X where X is the number of years you completed at the new school. I'll rather say it as it is, so when asked in my sleep, I can say the same thing. Also, just imagine they ask for another Schedule A (God forbid) and ask you what you did between 2002 and 2003...? It will be easy for you to say you were at the "old" school ... This is my advise - others can chip in. |

tundechange: Hi - The request for a remark must be made within six weeks of the date shown on your Test Report Form (TRF). If you are out of date (which is clearly the case now), you cannot ask for a remark. 1 Like |

sehawale: Hi - if I were you, I would fill out the IMM5562E AND also add the PROOF (i.e. scanned passport pages that are marked + affidavit + LOE). Merge all as a single PDF and send it. That's what I would do. 2 Likes |

Oh wow! This is indeed great news - left, right, center. God be praised. Congratulations - Beckyhopeful, MummyJaygirls, lavivaavril, Blaizetony. Y'all must be over the moon - please don't stay there o...come down and submit your passports. Also, congrats to deeore - your progress is amazing! Indeed God granted you speed for the lost months Re: creating a new profile and all. Congrats again. Your story is exemplary. So, just to debunk a few myths I have read here (1) If you get Schedule A request (not once but twice) and you have never been refused a visa to any country before, it's absolutely fine. Don't be alarmed - it's just part of their spontaneous checks (maybe). I know someone (on this thread) that got 2xSchedule A....she had never been refused a visa to ANY country before. She was petrified - but today nko, she's celebrating her PPR. She got PPR yesterday. (2) Gift Deed - I know someone (still on this thread) that used gift deed. Today, she also got her PPR letter - 80 days post AOR. So, gift deed doesn't mean your application will be delayed or refused. It is a PoF and as long as you provide what is required you will be fine. (3) Run from agents. You are just a number to them - the only relationship they have is with your pocket, lol. . No one can fill your forms better and tidier than YOU. A lot of people I know got PPRs by doing it themselves. I am also a testimony to that. To All our new PPR recipients please the finish line is in view...ensure you tidy up your documents, you cannot afford any mistakes now. Don't be like me that wore a cream blazer to the studio to take my photos. When the photo came out, there was no difference between my blazer and the background. My shoulders were 'invisible'. Had to go back to the studio the next day to retake another. So, these little things do matter. My two cents! 32 Likes 1 Share |

Faky201: I uploaded just the certificate. Reasons are (1) the cover letter was addressed to me and not CIC...so it's my property, lol (2) the certificate alone is a complete document as it says page 1/1....meaning nothing missing. This is what I did...it's just a suggestion. I dint think there's any harm in submitting both pages though, so you can opt for that to rest your mind. 1 Like |

300ng: Hi - you upload an electronic copy (front only) when you are submitting your eApr (this is post ITA). Ensure this is to specification. When you get the PPR letter and you are ready to submit your passport, you are required to send in two hard copies of your passport photograph. At the back of one of the photographs, you are required to provide the details of the photography studio (and yours) + date....stamped or handwritten behind the passport photograph. I hope this clarifies things... 1 Like 1 Share |

pinkcotton: PPR notification is an email....the email is the type you get from donotreply@cic...when you get this, log into your CIC account and view your messages. You will see the letter there in PDF with instructions on what to do. |

JustinTrudeau: My gut feeling is that the agent you haven't given a penny and who also took off without an explanation (very unprofessional) wouldn't have opened a "file" for you talkless of starting the EE process. This is just my gut feeling, so please hold on & let others input before you decide on the next steps. 1 Like |
