Politics / Re: Edo Assembly Passes 'Beautiful Edo, Glorious Edo' As Official State Anthem by Ejebleje: 6:50pm On Jun 10
Just look at what these people are throwing at us to distract from their recklessness and mal-governance

At a time when inflation is driving people to the brink? When minimum wage is being haggled back and forth , as if to say it's foreigners that are asking to be paid ?

Insecurity, energy crises, famine ,the new norm.

The problem is that many out of the very roughly estimated 200m amongst us have not seen and experienced good governance and democracy, because what is this craze about anthems when the country is at the precipice?

why e no suppose to be news? mumu talk. i've learnt one or two things from what people are saying

Idiot! You have access to the internet, with probably a relation or two in the diaspora and you don't know that a month's rent in most developed economies is equal to or more than annual rents in Nigeria?

Mum, should I tell you about the disparity in wages as well? Hisexcellency of stupidity!

Travel / Re: ‘It Was Pleasant’ – Obasanjo Hails Air Peace After Lagos-To-London Flight by Ejebleje: 6:50pm On May 06
To all of you who have brought a tribal connotation to this news, shame on you all! The little education you have acquired is a waste . I say again, shame on you!

It is also clear that many of you are pauperised and do not know the importance of having a Nigerian airline plying this Lagos - London route, and how Air Peace came to disrupt the hegemony of these foreign airlines. If you have had to pay those exorbitant air fares, you are qualified to enter this discussion.
Continue to sit this one out if the only thing you can offer is your tribal bigotry

Politics / Re: IMF: Why We Asked Nigeria To Remove Fuel Subsidy by Ejebleje: 9:31am On Apr 20
If you believe this lamba from the imf, well I will not blame you.

You see, Nigeria is a highly indebted nation , and this ill suggestion from the imf is a way of seeing to it that we can continue to service these loans here and there.

Why cut off the head because you have a headache?why can't the subsidy thieves be caught and executed so that the poor can actually breathe?

Most importantly, the movement of people ,goods and services is a very important component of economic growth and any this that stifles this, ultimately hampers economic growth.

It's a shame that in this country, we lack weak institutions and very highly unpatriotic leaders
