It's all fun and games for them with their jumbo salaries and all. Despite the crippling poverty in the land, you can see they don't feel threatened at all.
This is their idea of democracy. I saw the ridiculous scenes,I tell you it's like mocking a loved one in distress.

For crypto, forget it. It's gone . Don't let anyone deceive you. The bureaucratic processes involved in recovering fiat money is some cases so long yet unproductive, how much less this. Just move on . Dont let more scammers take advantage of you ,send you on a wild goose chase and bleed your pockets more.

This is commendable. This is one creative and constructive way to help others and draw the attention of govt to the situation. Those typing and insulting govts upandan will rather use their money to buy data and idle away online to insult everyone. They change nothing, they contribute nothing.

There's no country in the world where only govt does everything. Each patriotic citizen can lend a hand like Mr Adewuyi has done and is doing. There's a special blessing from the land for him as well.

All we need as a nation is more patriotic and hardworking citizens like him and none of the lazy, hatefilled and unpatriotic losers.
Check my signature for free stuffs!

Bro, very true that government can't do it all,but you'll agree with me that Nigerians will do even much more if our public officers do not ,without shame ,continue to plunder our commonwealth with total contempt.

Anybody who is not benefitting from institutionalized pillaging of our collective comminwealth in this country will surely express disgust at the government of the day wether offline or online. Optimism or patriotism is surely not absolving the government of years of not just ineptitude but sheer greed and voracious avarice that our government officials display.

The reason I'm quoting you is that you and a bunch of others I will not dignify by mentioning ,feel that people who are frustrated at the current order have an ethnic or religious bias. This has to stop, unless of course, you are a burgeoning product of this failed system of ours.Mind you, I know a handful of Nigerians in the disapora who are home sick but will not return until there is apparent and consistent positive change in our governance.

Most important,as the other administration's handlers ironically chose to cliche, change begins with us as ordinary citizens

It's a pity Men cant handle rejection civily. They can't take what they themselves dish out easily to women. Theyll always resort to violence.

Women too, make una stop deceiving men into marriage and afterwards change and start behaving like untamed animals just because womens right are protected abroad. It so annoying.

This is beyond rejection. The woman must've emasculated him,at least from his brief and almost incoherent narrative.

Phones / Re: The RAM Scam: How Smartphone Companies Trick You With Big RAM by Ejebleje: 3:34am On Jun 25, 2023
Very nice video.
For seemingly cliched topics like this one, don't really like to address them because people like to believe what they believe not knowing they've been conditioned to.
I think the real modern day scam is with O.E.Ms and the likes not giving sufficient long term software support to mobile phones, even in the face of shrinking global economy. For crying out loud, even in the developed economies, people don't see the need to have the latest phone every year ,with similar functions give or take.

I recently was to give advice to someone who had cash for a new budget phone but was drawn to the tested and trusted but used ones. I had to dissuade him from the latter because of the above stated fact;the phone will be starved of software support and relevance by O.E.Ms and while the budget phone sees him through at least 3 to 4 years of use.

How about lack of hardware support? I guess it is to the advantage of the smaller players, but I wish it weren't so.

Politics / Re: Agberos Hijack Onitsha As Helpless Traders, Motorists Groan by Ejebleje: 9:01am On Apr 01, 2023
MasterTeeUSA:
I was speaking to someone about this issue of Agberos, and I told the person...Governance is like whac-a-mole. If you solve one problem, another rises. That is why I was praying GRV does not win because he would have turned Lagos into chaos...even those in Lekki would not be able to stay clear of major issues.

If you eliminate Agberos, what will you do with thousands of guys? Retrain then...some of them are drug addicts and drunkards...there is a reason they are doing agberos and I doubt they can do any formal education. What about artisan work? Have you seen some of these guys..you think they will learn plumbing or agriculture and wait for harvest and yields or for someone to call them for work before they can eat?

Lock them up in Jail...how many prisons will you build, how many staff, cost of feeding them and getting all of them through the court systems would be a major disaster.

So should we just accept this norm...NO

1. You normalize them like Lagos agreed to do...Lagos should print the tickets

2. Allow these guys to sell them - maybe 500 tickets @ N1000 = N50,000; Private vehicles can pay N100 per day...that is N2k - N3k per month and it will be used to pay for people to maintain roads, clean gutters, and so on.

3. Pay them daily - like N5000 (N100,000 weekdays) which is 10% of the total take in and their Ogas will take N2500 (5%) per person

4. Create a hierarchy of leadership - One oga will have like 10 guys under in covering major areas...so Oga will cash in N500,000 monthly

5. This process for this Team will generate N42,500 per person (85%) which is N8.5million monthly (Salary N1.5m from Revenue intake of N10m monthly) for one area...Lagos can easily have 500 of these areas raking in N5billion and N60 billion annually. Anambra, Onitsha can do the same and the money will be channels to fix roads, drainages and revamp the markets.

6. Give or take the Govt can play with the figures and bring in 70-75% and increase the payment for Oga or boys or Ticket sale

7. You can also sell Morning, Afternoon, and Evening and use different sets of boys so you generate 3 times the revenue, multiply the employment by 3 and use 2 sets of Ogas or Same...

8. They will have distinct wears that they pick up at the Oga in the morning, afternoon or evening and they can switch them so it will be difficult for copycats to make them or have companies that will supply them these wears with random colors weekly.

9. These will eliminate the fake agberos and also provide employment chain for the uniform or vest suppliers...they will also take care of the dry cleaning needs.

10. Youths need employment..money must flow...you need to cater to different types of people. Eliminating them is not the answer.

Sorry to have to quote your long epistle, but do you see the flaw in what you're proposing?
Youngsters, and even parents, yes! Will see no need for education, formal or informal and will see thuggery as the easy way out. Heck, even potential law enforcement recruits will not be left out in the hysteria.

Very long writetup, but...

Technology Market / Re: Alabaconnect Is A Dubious Tv Seller!! by Ejebleje: 8:19pm On Mar 26, 2023
Hmm...Alaba business!

Take heart my brother. There's a reason why people go to the nearby army cantonment to get military men to escort them to the market before they do business.

That place has the highest concentration of conmen masquerading as business men. Them dey even scam law enforcement sef. Alaba story will take a thread!

Go and ask of their task force chairman and report the issue to them. They may get the guy to do something. Alternatively, involve law enforcement.

A note of caution to all : cut your coat according to your clothe. If you have 190k for t.v, matter of fact any other electronic/electrical appliance, go for a NEW product that your purse can afford and buy from reputable dealers(You stand a better chance of getting a valid warranty in such instance)

Modern T.v screens have lifespans, and you dont know how far into the designated lifespan the used product you're buying has gone. Dont be penny wise...

Phones / Re: New Phone Just Manufactured Weeks Ago, Hanging by Ejebleje: 10:16am On Mar 18, 2023
When will people understand that the system-on-chip, or processor powering most of these phones are really just the most basic? They cant even compensate for it by adding sufficient RAM(hence their comparatively cheap prices)

If you do anything intense as to strain the processors,it will surely stutter in performance.
