Good one...am from Niger delta, delta precisely and I say never dialogue with terrorist or militants like they call there self because in a long run, more will come out as far as the others have benefitted from it by becoming so rich that some now have university outside this country, then receive more money doing nothing monthly and business all around claiming they were fighting for the good and development of there land which never happened(The criminals willbe like why would i go and steal when I can terrorise this country and get amnesty and huge money for settlement like the others did)..All this people need proper orientation and then the security need good security intelligence with the community just like the jtf are doing in the north east. The federal government for me has never been our problem but the governors and leaders we have over there who enrich there self and doing nothing.People of delta prefer ibori to theformer governor emmanuel uduagan because he did absolutely nothing(can you imagine such rubbish).YES WE need the federal government to do the basic needs like lights etc but how we going toget there when we keep blowing up everything.Face your attention on your governors who keep looting and got no ideas.Bayelsa with 8 local government and huge allocation but nothing to show for it,not even a tourist attraction that willmake people trip in there.smhLet the federal government give this avengers and other amnesty like they didbefore and SEE IF ME AND MY GOONS WILL NOT COME OUT AND START OUR OWN...God punish all of them 1 Like |

Politics / Before It Is Too Late For Buhari by ElCapone(m): 8:17am On Jun 03, 2016 |
Ayekooto Akindele Wrote:
In his letter titled BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE, written
openly to
Jonathan, Obasanjo told the world that Jonathan
has set up
snipers whose job is simple......Kill and Go.
Obasanjo specifically said this and did not shy
away from
warning Jonathan to desist from the evil plan of
killing
people for political reasons. Obasanjo is alive and
his letter,
on Google! Read it. Jonathan denied though but no
legal
action was taken because if he had sued Obj then,
perhaps,
the General may have come with loads of proofs
from his
source to probably drive his point home.
Obasanjo, through that letter prevented a bloodier
2015
elections but the recent events have proofed that
the
bloody situation were merely postponed until after
elections.
About one month ago, a group that has stockpiled
arms
during the reign of Jonathan and financed from the
proceeds of mindless corruption and devilish
looting with
the backing of some bling bling religious
activists....declared
a war on the sovereignty of Nigeria. The group is
called
Niger Delta Avengers. They said they want a Niger
Delta
Country. Prior to that, a fervent follower of
Jonathan who
vigorously campaigned for him during the last
election and
was occasionally calling for the unity of Nigeria
suddenly
tagged himself Biafra leader and declared Nigeria a
zoo
through his well corruption funded radio Biafra, he
launched electronic war on Nigeria. . LOL.......It
was his
arrest and ostracism that unveiled the group of
snipers OBJ
accused Jonathan of sponsoring then, the
Avengers! These
basards are not avenging for the long term looting
of the
country or long term looting of the NDDC, ND by
its fake
world class hospital building governors,
mismanagement of
amnesty funds by the runaway Kuku or monthly
disappearance of 13% Derivation.....No, they want
to
avenge for Jonathan's well meaning loss at the
polls and
most importantly, the continued detention of their
equipper Dasuki.
They have destroyed many pipelines to cripple the
economy, they have also submitted their
incoherent
demands which of course, include freedom for
Dasuki and
Kanu. Tragically laughable!
But yesterday, as the President was planning to
visit Ogoni
land to perform the most historic assignment in
the history
of that region, Ogoni Clean-up, which Ken Saro
Wiwa fought
and died for but which Jonathan refused to do for
6 years,
the Avengers said they will kill Buhari if he
came......Ogoni
must not be cleaned!
The President actually decided to stay away. Now,
some
folks with little minds say 'oh this President is a
coward....'
LOL. Buhari was in Rivers State during his
electioneering
campaigns, even when the threat was harder but
how come
he failed to show up this time?
If the President decided to go, nothing will happen
to him,
not even a housefly will come 1000m to him. But
you may
read in the papers tomorrow that "24 Ijaw Youths
killed by
soldiers .....during Buhari’s visit. .." and more
which the
president may not even know of. Besides, the flag
off clash
is avoidable since the president can delegate to
calm
tension. In the end, the launching was done
bloodlessly and
mission accomplished!
Now what do we do to the silly Avengers? The
government
should negotiate with them but not now. The
government
must only negotiate from the position of strength.
As it is,
the Avengers are on top of their delusional game
and may
bring up silly demands to undermine a lawful
government.
Therefore, the military must first show its firepower
and
crush their ego thoroughly before negotiations.
And who
will government use? Goodluck Ebele Jonathan the
man
who is responsible for their emergence, their
hero......he
should be given that assignment and as a former
President,
he should be glad to take it up. Afterall, it is the
child of fire
that we send to fire......and the one who knows
how
Olunagun came to the world will also know how
Olunagun
will go back!
God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria and her
Wise

Politics / The Missed Opportunity Of Ogoni.... by ElCapone(m): 6:08am On Jun 03, 2016 |
SYMBOLISM OF PRESIDENTIAL VISITS AND THE
MISSED OPPORTUNITY OF OGONI...
In November 1977, Egyptian Leader, Anwar Sadaat
did the 'unthinkable' by setting foot on Israeli soil,
becoming the first Arab leader in history to do so.
This was merely four years after a bloody October
1973 war between both nations, being the latest in
a series of bloody conflicts dating back since
1948.
Sadaat addressed the Israeli parliament and made
it categorically clear that he had come to pursue
the path of peace. This was a cheering news to the
Israeli government, not because it was militarily
inferior, far from it, but Egypt represented the
biggest military threat to Israel, and any
opportunity for a peaceful tête-a-tete with an
'Enemy' was a welcome development especially if
the initiative was from that enemy.
The Israelis played ball and after a few years of
gruelling 'give and take' negotiations, Egypt and
Israel signed a peace treaty that would end the
vicious cycle of wars and destruction between
them.
Sadat's historic visit was an unparalleled symbol
of commitment that set the ball rolling for direct
negotiations between two 'sworn enemies'.
...............
Yesterday the President's scheduled trip to Ogoni
land where he was supposed to launch the
implementation of the UNEP clean up of Ogoni was
cancelled for God knows what reason. In the face
of no cogent reason from the presidency, many
believe-and you can't blame anyone-it was due to
the threats made by militants earlier on.
This may not be the case, of course. But actions,
or in this case, inactions that create the impression
that the President and C in C could be prevented
from visiting anywhere due to 'security threats' do
not augur well both for the image of the
presidency and the confidence of citizens in that
esteemed office.
The President in a democratic setting like ours, is
the most important figure. The essence and
symbol of his physical presence in any historic
event-for that was what it was-can never be
underestimated.
The Vice President is not the same as the
President. Neither is the 'FG'.
Whatever justification anyone presents, one thing is
certain: this was one big, fat missed opportunity! |
Politics / How Biafrans Mocked Ojukwu by ElCapone(m): 5:51am On Jun 03, 2016 |
Khojo Obinna Nweze Wrote:
Shame The Living, Honor The Dead.
Ojukwu led ndi Igbo in a fight for liberation.
Nigeria fought
Biafra led by a Christian, Yakubu Gowon.
Emeka Ojukwu Jnr, like his father, Ezeigbo
gburugburu, lost
in all the elections he contested in Igbo land. Ndi
Igbo being
good in rationalisation, will tell you there was no
way you
can beat PDP.
But Buhari has always won massively in the north
ever since
he started contesting, even with a small party,
OBJ
inclusive. His people believed in him - good or
bad.
Democracy is a political contest, not the selection
of the
pope.
Ezeigbo gburugburu Jnr lost the house of
representative
election to PDP in a bid to represent his people,
ndi Igbo
(now fake Niger Deltans). His people shamed him.
No votes.
They despised him alive. Made him a fool.
Ojukwu also lost a senatorial seat in 1983. His
people did
not vote for him. He didn't know they were Niger
Delta men
in Igbo clothing.
In 2007, Ojukwu got only 155,000 votes
nationwide,
including votes from ndi Igbo. His people failed
him. He
didn't have to win, but then in 2011, Igbo states
gave a
Biafra saboteur by tribe over 5 million votes. Who
marginalises who? Who maltreats who?
Yakubu Gowon may be a dear son, 'awa' son, to
ndi igbo (he
was Commander-in-Chief of Nigeria during the
civil war).
Buhari fought the war as a soldier (a junior officer)
whose
only job is "obey before complain" under Gowon.
But ndi
Igbo hate Buhari for fighting the war but love
Gowon.
Unbalanced equation.
'Igbo amaghi Eze', they claim, but how come Igbo
maa
(recognises) fallen heroes. Loud mouths,
ineffective noise.
When opportunity presents to help selves, you
deny it, turn
around and start shouting marginalisation.
I only pity the poor they mislead all the time, who
get
involved in a 'rag-day' protest. May their souls
rest in peace.
They never knew what they were doing.

Ojukwu never won election in Anambra both his
Senatorial

used to rig him out. Yes our people, hear me well,
our

Some people who Ojukwu came out from his sick

Same people who humiliated us to ensure
Obasanjo

corpse.
Hypocrites! !!!!
Therefore, before you start your idiotic love for
Igbo land,
submit your antecedents for critical scrutiny.
Ojukwu is now your hero because he is late. A
man you
rejected and humiliated at the polls.
Shameless lot.
As Rev. Msgnr Obiora Ike put it during Ojukwu
burial; "Why
did you accept the heroship of Ojukwu at death?
Why did
you sell him out to Obasanjo when he presented
himself to
lead you in 2003? Nonsense and ingredients!
You only remember Ojukwu when you want to
defraud the
conscience of our people to satisfy your
desperation for
power. Pack well joor.
All the actors who rigged out APGA in 2015
election are the
people who rose to political prominence through
Ojukwu
name yet they ensured that APGA was defeated.
You can't be more Biafran than us.
You are not even qualified to be Biafran from your
antecedents.
A fool cannot lead a Biafran.
I am never concerned about conglomerate of
political
imbeciles and thugs desecrating our holy land and
name. At
the right time, the core Biafran will speak.
Biafra remain who we are but non of this noisy
bingo's can
reverse the Aburi Accord. Whatever agitation or
demand
must be anchored in one united Nation called
Nigeria.
Devolution of power from centre to region is a way
