Thank you very much for your reply.
You mean I stand a chance of getting the visa with that amount?
No one can assure of you of visa except the visa/consular officer handling your application. My answer to your question was based on my experience.

Good Every Gurus in the house.
First of all, thank you very much for the good job you guys are doing. God will bless us all.

Please, I plan submitting a two year France study visa application, but am wondering if it worth giving a try with N3.2M balance in my account. There is no reasonable inflow and outflow activities in the account sequel to the fact that I have using the money for treasure bills.

My tuition fee is approximately €500, and the program cordinator attested through email correspondence that I can only pay that while in France. I have proof of accommodation from the university.

Please gurus, advice me on what to do, should I go ahead to apply with that SOA, or should I wait and build up my account balance?

Any advice would be highly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.
You can apply.

Yes, it is possible. I have similar issue at VFS when I applied with my wife. Her bank statement was rejected because it was 5 months bank statement which we were told to bring that of 3 months the other day. Decision was made within 9 working days and our visa was rejected. We applied 2 weeks after the rejection and got the visa within 6 working days.

I don't know the percentage of visa issuance at the embassy and no individual can guarantee you visa other than the visa/consular officer handling your application.

Package your application, apply and be prayerful.
Oga, you can give it a try.

It means France Embassy have received your application from VFS. They will reply you via mail or text message when they made a decision on your visa application which you will be inform to pick up your passport as VFS or UPS Courier will pick it up on your behalf if you paid for courier service.

I'm also not sure about these questions. I'm thinking planned duration of stay in number of days is the total number of days you plan to stay in the Schengen region while the number of days planned in France for the coming year is the number of days you plan to stay in France next year. Someone should be correct me if I'm wrong. Thanks

Thanks for ur swift response bro. But u didn't say anything about d percentage of our savings we r expected to keep n spend.
For couples, minimum balance of N4m to N5m should be domiciled in one's account.

Note: No one can make a decision on visa application except the visa or consular officer. All we're writing down here is just a forecast based on experince and practical guide for applicants to do it themselves.

Hello bosses in the house,

Please I need a site to book for flight reservation and medical insurance( just to book with my master card not payment immediately). I have done with hotel reservation already. Also, my traveling plan is jul13-jul23 2018. I have not submit the application yet, i want to through with flight and hotel reservation.

Hope the time i schedule for my plan is not too early. What's my chance with #2M, CAC registration, and its necessary to submit landed property but with NO c of o but with my name and my wife name. Your advice will be very appreciated as I have check online regarding flight but not yet got on. Thanks so much!
I'd advice you to book flight reservation from any travel agency close to you. They have this software that can book on hold with limitless duration unlike you booking direct with any of the airlines which on hold booking expire within 24 or 48 hours.

Nobody can determine your chance with N2m as closing balance on your bank statement except the visa/consular officer handling your application. All I do agitate for applicants is to have reasonable money/balance with cash flow on their accounts and also provide documents that keep them ties with their country.

Please how many days/week(s) does it take the embassy to make a decision? I am travelling to Netherlands with my family on a family visit. Its not our first travel and not our first schengen visa. Previous schengen applications were to Spain. Any information will be appreciated. Thank you
Normally, it takes 15 to 20 working days for the embassy/consulate to process and make decision on visa application. And at times, it's overlaps to more than 15 to 20 working days.

Thanks for ur swift response as usual. If I am able to raise two million as suggested to make 4M, will it not be termed money lodgement?
what percentage of my deposits or money in my account am I expected to spend since from ur analysis spending about 1.5M out of 2M won't be enough?
Can I apply by July? Since it must 90days to d time?
It depends on the inflow and outflow transaction history on your account if you're going to lodge such kind of amount.

I'd advice you get a cheap accommodation. Preferably family shared accommodation so that the accommodation Bill won't be on the high side.

You can apply by July if your travelling date is within August to early October.

Thanks guru, appreciate ur counsel/contribution. What if we include a treasury bill certificate worth 1M, which will mature by August ending and 2 landed properties, one is our home and d other is with C of O but in my wife's name. Can we still go ahead? Cos to raise 4M is an issue. And if get d 4M, will it not be seen as money lodgement? As per the 90 days, is it that it is early to apply now? Thanks in anticipation of ur responses.
Treasury Bill Certifctate of Landed Properties can be reference to asset which give you ties to your country. It's is not a monetary value deposited in your bank account that you can spend on the trip.

Hello Gurus in the house. I am a civil servant and wife works with waec. I earn 240k monthly n wife earns about 180-200k monthly. we have a boy of 5yrs old. we intend to apply for France visitors' visa by end of june to go by september. i have about 1.6M in my salary account, while wife has about 600k. are we good to go? pls we need guidance and it will be appreciated. Thanks in anticipation.

Firstly, you can only apply within 90 days of your schedule travel date. This is very important or else VFS will reject your application and advise you to apply within 90 days of your travel days.

Secondly, you need to have a fatty account balance of like N4m to N5m for you and your wife and a boy of 5 years old.

Let me give you a rough estimate on how the visa section will judge your application:

A flight ticket for 3 of you cost close to N900k to N1m. A good ccommodation for 3 of you might likely cost 200 to 250k (This is the cheapest for a week you can get). What remain of you both in your account? Where is the fund that will keep you ties with your country to fall back on when you're back? These are factors to consider. I'd advice you to build more savings on your account to a tune of N4m to N5m and give it a try.

Q: Thnks 4 ur response, really appreciate
Plz my first question, Is it most I pay 4 the hotel booking

Ans: Not a must but I'd advice you to pay on hold. Preferably, you can use a MasterCard that is not funded and has not expired to hold the accomodation/hotel booking payment. This will show at their end that you've hosted you card for payment debit which means commitment even if the embassy might want to confirm for the hotel.

Please guru in the house I need some clarifications, I want to apply for France schengen short stay visa,
1. Is it most I pay for the hotel booking?

2. I will be spending 4 days in Paris and 4 days in Munich Germany, do I inform the French Embassy about it or I should just tell dem I will be on 8days vacation? Thnks awaiting ur prompt response plz.

You don't have to details your trip plans within the schengen member states on your application. Just state the number of days you intend to spend during your trip.

You can get such kind of plastic but it is mostly scarce due to the fact that most plastic producers already have their moulding designs. Except if you're buying in large quantity, then you can placed a design request.

However, they're similar designs that can match your needs.
