The Tecno f7 phantom doesn't have the same problem, its works wella as long. It uploads with droidVpn, and opens playstore, all u nid to do is just switch on ur hotspot if u wanna do any of dis. buh ma client's N7 sims to have those setbacks. Assuming there is a way to upgrade the I.C.S on it to Jellybean, guess twill have bn beta...

finfol007: Also,it gets better nd better,in addition to my discovery,(COS YOU WONT GET IT ANY WHERE) if after successful connection,mtn disconnects u after a while,just repeat the whole process.bt switch to airplane mode first for few minutes then restart the process I gave above nd u would be back.....

I have gotten solution to all the setbacks i posted, except d hotspotting thing. Simply switch on ur hotspot, and u can upload, download from playstore e.t.c...

Step 1: Ur android fone doesnt needs to be rooted if it runs on Android 4 and above.



Step 2:::

1. Visit Google play store and download tun.koinstaller

2. Run/Install the tun.ko.  it mite tell u "tun module is not loaded" , just ignore and move to d next step below...



Once you are done with the above, complete the steps below.

Using Droid Vpn

1. Download the app "DroidVPN" from Google play store on ur phone, install it,

2. Register a username on droid vpn app or on their website http://droidvpn.com/signup.php

3. Activate your droid vpn account.

4. Go to the droid vpn settings, click on connection protocol and select UDP; scroll down to Udp port and type 500. Dats all

5. Make sure your Mtn blackberry plan is active with blackberry.net as the apn

6. Open Droid VPN and connect. It will give you two servers you can use for free.

7. Once it’s connected, open your browser or any internet enabled app and connect.

NB: You can't use more than 100mb per day worth of data on droid vpn because you are a free registered user.





Note: I also av anoda process i use different from d whole droid vpn/tu  ko, buh i aint givin it out totally free, 1k. cos its not yet blown to d wind, buh dont worry, dis one av given u will work well for u, i only use ma other method as a back-up when av exhausted ma 100megabytes.

Is ur phone rooted? and what version of android do u use, den what settings on droid cos mine is browsing and downloading well buh not still opening playstore, uploading anyfin atall on instagram, whatsapp and email.

I updated my Droidvpn, Avast! and Sensor music player this evening. I did that with free version of Droidvpn.

Since mtn has blocked android users from using mtn bis directly, av been using mine with droid vpn and its been working well and cool except dat av noticed d following limitations...
1. Free account is limited to 100megabytes per day, and another day begins at 12pm noon.
2. It can't send pix on whatsapp
3. It can't upload anyfin on instagram
4. It can't hotspot
5. Finally, it can't download anything from google playstore.

On another note, if ur fone runs on android 4 or higher versions, you dont need to root it before installing droidVpn. I want to know if anyone has been experiencing the same thing and if anyone has a solution.

They sweet-talk you and tell u to pay into their bank accounts, that the would send ur goods via a DJL or other courier services.

Dont ever pay money to anyone u dont know or cannot see, I just took my time to drop so names, phone numbers and bank account numbers of some fraudsters that have defrauded me in the past and some other people i know. Add yours if you have ever been a victim, to safe other unsuspecting Nigerians..
