The problem here is that it was a systemic failure and not a failure of one person in particular. It is unfair to blame Koseni.

What if Wilshere did what was expected? I guess we will never know, but it is not fair to blame it all on Koseni jare.

Arsenal always played a High line with CB and LB providing covers or pushing up when needed.  Hence why you will see someone like Clichy running with the ball on the side to get cross in or why you will see Koseni in the box of the opponent at crucial times.

i disagree. there's no problem letting united have the ball in that area of the pitch as long as arsenal's back four are in position. fletcher will have to shoot from 40 yards to score and he's not that talented. apart from counter-attacks, arsenal's biggest problem is when their defenders get too attracted to the ball. vermaelen made loads of mistakes last season because he gets too drawn to the ball. the space he leaves is the space their opponents exploit and score. that has to change.

Personally, I agree there are defence issues. Dunno if it is a coaching one or down to individual player. There probably more factors at play here than those two in my opinion. But coaching no be my strong area so my comment go be minimal.


What I like about the analysis is that people appeared to blamed Koseni for the goal, but this guy analysis showed it is more down to Wilshere inexperience as Koseni was caught in a stretched position.
