Organisers of a beauty pageant at a leading school in East Africa have been indicted for forcing young models to catwalk without p***s, exposing their pri***e parts in the process.

Without wasting time, I shall discuss the attitudes displayed by ladies on social media that robs them of husbands in real life

1. Gold-digging Attitude

Some ladies are fond of putting up all sorts of gold digging status online just to showcase their class. To be very candid, no matter how rich a dude is, it's very discouraging to see a lady putting up status that reeks of gold-digging. This is a big turn off because such a dude will feel the lady is nothing but a money monger. This remind me when I saw a revelation that I should woo a lady on BBM, to my surprise she quickly put up the status "I'm allergic to broke dudes". The man of God just shook his head and the rest is history.

2. Being too Rude/Hostile

Many ladies are not accommodating and are usually very rude, pompous and narcissistic online. They talk rudely, dish out insults at any slight provocation and also treat both guys with good intentions and bad intentions like Dangote bag of cement. Out of ignorance, many of them don't know that such an awkward attitude may deny them husbands.

3. Stereotyping Online Dudes as Players

A dude might stumble on a lady's comment and finds it very thoughtful and brilliant and the dude decides to send a mail just to know more of her. The lady sees the mail and jumps into conclusion that all he wants is sex. This myopic way of reasoning that every dude that sends friend request or mail only wants sex has been immensely contributing to their lost of potential chairmen.

4. Being Too Impatient

Impatience often makes ladies send their future husbands away just because they couldn't answer the question "where did you get my phone number or PIN?". Last year, I added a lady on BBM and guess what? She was the first to PING me with the message "tell me where you got my PIN otherwise I will delete you right away". Can you just imagine?

5. Incessantly Demanding for Recharge Card

This is a barbaric act that portrays a lady classless and shameless. A dude met a lady barely a week and she's already demanding recharge card and data subscription to enable her chat with him. In fact, the one that annoys me most is seeing status update such as ""my data bundle is about to finish, who cares to renew it?" Many ladies don't see anything bad in this act unknown to them that it depletes their chances of finding husband.

6. Displaying Slut-ish Attitude

Before a dude decides to add a lady on social media, the first he will do is check her pictures to have a foresight of the kind of person he wants to add, and by the time he sees all sorts of boobs and buttocks revealing pictures, he concludes she's irresponsible and nothing but a chop and clean mouth material.

7. Changing Relationship Status like Disco Light

Another thing that discourages potential chairmen from wooing a lady is frequent changing of relationship status. If a lady often changes her relationship status from single to engaged, engaged to married and vice versa, this will put potential the chairmen into a state of confusion, therefore, some of them will lose interest in that process and they will feel she's chameleon-like in nature.

Honestly speaking, some ladies usually found on social media looking for 1,000 qualities in just a man. He must be rich, handsome, light skinned, funny, brilliant, six packed; must have elaborate joystick and should be God fearing. Haba !!! All these qualities in just a man? Even Jesus Christ does cannot have all these qualities.

10. Uploading Pictures of Various Dude as each day passes

No be say these guys dey go birthday or something. They are always putting up their pictures and start heaping praises on them for financially help. This act is a big turn off for dudes cos I will feel she's promiscuous in nature.

A middle-aged man has told the police how his wife allegedly set him ablaze after she drugged him, according to the Daily Sun.

He said his wife, Kudirat Tijani, sedated him on Sunday, and set their apartment on fire with the hope that he would be burnt to death.

The victim, Abubakar Tijani, said he miraculously survived by divine intervention. It could not be ascertained why his wife allegedly wanted him dead.

He claimed that, shortly after the fire was put out late night on the fateful day, his wife rushed to his elder brother’s residence at Pasali Extension in Kuje, headquarters of Kuje Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and informed him of a fire outbreak in their apartment.

The brother, Salisu Tijani, corroborated the claim. Salisu, who reported the case at the Kuje Divisional Police headquarters, said at about 11.15pm of the fateful day, Kudirat reported to him at his residence that there was a fire outbreak in their flat.

On arrival at the scene, according to him, he met his younger brother, Abubakar, lying motionless on a bed severely burnt. He said he immediately rushed him to the Kuje General Hospital, where he was given first aid treatment before he was re­ferred to the National Hospital in central Abuja for intensive care.

Reports said it was after he had regained consciousness at the hospital that the victim gave graphic details of how his wife had allegedly wanted to dispatch him to untimely grave.

Meanwhile his wife, Kudirat, is presently telling the police her role in the incident. “It is a very serious offence and she cannot be left off the hook just like that”, FCT Police Commissioner, Wilson Inalegwu, told Daily Sun yesterday on telephone, while confirming the story.

“The victim is alive, he is responding to treatment. If he had died, they would have informed us and the offence will change from causing grievous harm to culpable homicide”, he noted in response to enquiries on the fate of the victim.

But Kudirat could not be reached for her reaction as at the time of filing this report.

A terribly enraged woman has carried out a most brutal attack on her own daughter for the most unbelievable reason ever - male lover.

The daughter in question had recently graduated and is on visit to the mother after her Youth Service.

While their love relationship blossoms, the unsuspecting mother who is a school vice principal, was said to have showered her lover boy with gifts.

But this was not to be when the daughter identified as Mabel Igbinosa flippantly opened up to her friend her relationship with the Igbo man who is a building materials trader, including how they made love.

Somehow, the gist got to the mother and she decided to visit the Igbo man’s housearound Okwe Quarters in Asaba.

After enjoying herself with her mother's boyfriend, the girl left his house, unknowing to her that the mum was around. She immediately pounced on her, bit off her ear before stabbing her with a bottle.

Police was later called in and the shameless mother and daughter were taken away.

A team of journalists visited a scene of terror in Umukoroada village of Okpuala Umugwor Autonomous community in Osisioma Ngwa local government area of Abia State where one Kenneth Nwanguma Agu (32), butchered his sister, Esther Akudo Agu (28) to pieces with a cut­lass.

Like a scene out of a horror movie, Kenneth also attempted to bury alive his brother, Kingsley Ngozi Agu (30) along with the brother's friend, Ezekiel Chikwado Ajuga from Enugu state, in the bush.

The three siblings are children of one late Mr. Sunday Nwanguma Agu while their mother, Mrs. Ekemma Elizabeth Agu – née Okeke – is from Neni in Anaocha local government area of Anambra state.

Luck, however smiled on Kingsley and his friend as villagers who noticed their presence on the ground in the said bush rescued them while they were still breathing. It was gathered that they were tied with rope and loaded in a wheel barrow down the bush and buried.

According to the siblings' maternal uncle, who led journalists to the scene, trouble started late last year when their father who was a trader dealing on timber at Aba died.



He said that shortly after Agu's demise, Kenneth started laying claim to the family house, a four bedroom bungalow situated in the village. He said that attempt made by Kingsley to secure one room in the house failed and effort made by their mother and Esther to convince Kenneth to release the room also failed.

The uncle recalled that Kingsley had a misfortune concerning his business in Abuja shortly after the father died and had to relocate to the village where he needed a room in the house but Kenneth refused.

He said, an angry Kenneth must have ambushed Esther with a very sharp cutlass and butchered her to death on the midnight of 31st December last year.

Kenneth had earlier swooped on Kingsley and his friend, Ezekiel, tied them with rope and used a wheel barrow to push them down the bush in the village and buried them alive.It took the vigilance of villagers who passed by the bush on their way to fetch firewood to rescue Kingsley and Ezekiel. According to their uncle, Kenneth left the wheel barrow at the scene and did not cover the emergency grave where he laid Kingsley and his friend well enough. On seeing the wheel barrow, the villagers felt that it is not normal for anybody to abandon such in the bush and on getting closer, they noticed some movements in the grave.The lucky duo were however rescued and rushed to a near­by hospital where they were treated. Kingsley has been dis­charged from hospital.

Ezekiel sustained injury on the neck. Asked by journalists what Kenneth was doing for a living and how he managed to tie down King­sley and Ezekiel with rope and drove them to the bush in a wheel barrow, the man said he was a commercial motor cyclist in Makurdi, Benue State for sometime before then, and that he suspected diabolical means were used by the assailant and his alleged accomplice, one Clement Nsogala, to achieve their cruel aim.

He recalled that when he got the information on what was going on, he rushed down to Umuokoroada from Onitsha and met few villagers on the scene and took picture without anybody making attempt to arrest him or even report to the Police.

"To me, the whole thing is like a mystery. How did they allow him to escape? My sister who is their mother is bed-ridden and could not make ef­fort to defend her daughter but what about the neighbours? I think he applied diabolical means to blindfold everybody and did all he wanted to do," he recounted.

With the assailant on the run, he said that the villagers arrested his friend, Nsogala and asked him to produce Kenneth but Nsogala who is an Okada rider in the village did not give any clue of Kenneth's whereabouts and the villagers allowed him to go adding that the remains of Esther was buried after two days.

Asked if they reported the matter to the Police, the man who insisted that he did not want his name in print for fear of being attacked by Kenneth and his cohorts said he reported the matter to a nearby Police post but could not follow it up because he was too busy working to save the lives of Kingsley and the mother.

"I took pictures and went to report the matter to a nearby Police post, but I could not follow it up because my aunty and Kingsley were in coma all the while. Besides, the cost of coming from Onitsha to this place was too cumbersome to me, so please use your power to tell the Police to look for Kenneth and arrest him and procecute him," he added. He said that all efforts made to get Kenneth's picture failed but the picture of his friend, Clement Nsogala is available.

Purchasing a used car can be very confusing due to the numerous things you need to consider, especially if it is your first time to buy a car.

There are many things to look for when purchasing a used car but one important factor is to give the car a physical check before making your final decision.

Before you buy a used car that fits your budget and needs you need to know exactly what to look for and how much you expect to pay for the vehicle you want, as knowledge of what you want gives you much bargaining power when negotiating the price of the car.

Make sure that the car is on a level ground before checking it out

This is to ensure that you will be able to clearly check the tires and to see if there is anything sagging on the car.

Carefully check the paint job of the car, taking note of any rust spots, dents or scratches

The car should be clean so the paint condition is visible. Look at the sides of the car from end-on for waviness; that indicates paint work. Run your finger along the edges of the joints between panels; roughness indicates residue left from masking tape.

Check the trunk of the car to make sure it is still in good condition

It should not show any sign of rust, or water entry due to cracks or holes. Wear inside of the trunk indicates usage of the car.

Check the tires

The tires should be worn evenly and they should match. Look at the surface of the tire for feathering (bad alignment). Bad alignment can be caused by worn steering/suspension components, the pothole down the street or frame damage.

Never buy a frame damaged car

Check the saddle (connects the front fenders and holds the top of the radiator). It may be welded or bolted in. Inspect the bolt heads at the top of the fenders inside the hood; scratch marks indicates that the fenders have been replaced or realigned (after a crash).

Try to get under the car when it is safely raised and inspect the exhaust system or any under-body rust

Look for any black spots on the exhaust system because this can indicate leaking. This is also a good time to inspect for frame or unibody damage.

Check the exhaust with your finger. Greasy grime means important problem. Turn the car on. White vapor (not in a cold climate) is a bad sign too.

Check under the hood of the car for any indication of dents, damage or rust

These can all be signs that the car was either poorly taken care of or damaged. Each fender, just inside where the hood joins, should have a decal with the VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) of the car. If the decal is not there, it does not necessarily indicate the fender was replaced; the location of the VIN is manufacture-dependent.

Check the hoses and belts

They should not have cracks. The radiator hoses should not be soft.

Inspect the engine for any sort of leaks, or corrosion

On the engine block, look for any dark brown oil stains, this will indicate that there is a leak in a gasket, and could possibly lead to an expensive repair in the future. Check the brake fluid, and reservoir to make sure it is not leaking. The belts should look new (i.e. not have cracks or signs of drying). Old belts can snap.

Remove the oil filler cap

A foam residue on the inside indicates a leaking head gasket. Forget that car.

Pull the transmission dipstick; the fluid should be pink or red.

An old car may be dark but it should not look or smell burnt. It should also be full (check with the engine running).

Check the timing belt

This is the most important belt in the engine, and is also the most costly to replace. If the car is equipped with a steel timing chain, you don't have to worry about this. Normal lifespan of a timing belt is from 60 – 100+ thousand miles; this depends on the manufacturer.

Go inside the car

Check the seats and upholstery of the car for any tears, rips, stains, or other type of damage.

Check to make sure the air-conditioning of the car is working well by turning it on

If air conditioning is a must, buy a car with R134 coolant. Most cars fitted with R134 are 1993 or newer and have a sticker on the AC Condenser.

Check the odometer of the car for the mileage

This is important because the mileage indicates the car’s age. On the average, a normal driver will drive between 10,000 to 15,000 miles (16,000 to 24,000 km) a year; however, this depends on many factors. Remember, cars age by time and mileage. Buying a 10 year old car with very low miles is not necessarily a good thing. If it was driven more than 20,000 miles annually, ask about how it was driven. Long trips and highway miles put less wear and tear on the vehicle than the stop-and-go traffic in the city.

Find out if the car has a computer on board

For a car that has an on board computer, pay attention to the warnings right when you start the car or when you turn the key or the start button.

Verify the lights and all the regular functions of the car when not moving

This includes: any sensors for parking, back parking camera, radio, CD, music installation, etc. Confirm all mechanisms and locks on windows, doors and the trunk work. Try the windshield wipers, air conditioning and heat. Test the stereo, GPS system, CD player and any monitors.

Test drive the car before making any final decisions

This is perhaps one of the best ways to know the condition of the car. Hence, a buyer should make all effort to do a test drive first before coming to any decisions. Test-drive the car to make sure it shifts into gear properly without stiffness. Try the four-wheel drive, if available.

Be sure to check the brakes of the car by pressing down hard enough on the brakes to decelerate rapidly, but not enough to slide

Try this going around 30 mph (48 km/h) in an area without traffic. You should not feel any vibration from the brake pedal, or hear any squealing or strange noises. Brakes that pulsate indicate the need for having the rotors resurfaced or replaced and new pads installed. It should not swerve; this can be caused by a bad brake caliper or worn steering components.

Check for small trepidation at 45 / 55 / 65 / 75 mph (121 km/h)

Slight trepidation during a small speed interval may mean wear at the direction mechanical parts. These may include joints/arms etc. This may go together with uneven wear at the front tire(s).

Check for sounds, trepidation or clunking noise when making a 90 degree turn

Do this at low speed. This means again, wear at the front direction level: joints need to be changed.

Review history

Check out the car's service history which should give you some information regarding the performances, repairs, and problems of the car. Ideally, the current owner would have kept a record of the times when the car needed servicing and should be willing to show you this information. Some cars do not have maintenance records because they maintained them at home. This should be fine as long as they can prove they maintained the car properly. There are instances where used cars are sold because of past accidents or negative experiences. Request the Vehicle Identification Number so you can buy a history report from a company such as CarFax. Make sure the car has not been in a major wreck. Ask to see all maintenance records, if available, to confirm the vehicle was maintained as recommended by the manufacturer. Confirm the car passed its most recent emissions and safety tests. Ask a dealership to see if the car has ever been recalled for safety violations or mechanical problems, and if so make sure the problems have been corrected.

Bring someone who knows cars

It is a good idea to bring along a trusted friend with a good background of automotive know-how to check things that you are not sure of. If you do not have a trusted friend in the auto industry you can pay a mechanic to complete an inspection on it for around 75 – 100 bucks. Make sure this mechanic has good reviews so you will not get scammed into thinking the car is a lemon.

Do not pay the asking price

A used car is a negotiable item. Do not feel the need to pay the price they are asking. The dealer bought this car at a low price, and is turning around and selling it for much more than they purchased it with the notion that they might have to lower that sticker price. Depending on the quality of the vehicle, feel free to offer a price. Be sure that it is a reasonable offer. Try to buy a car that is less than they tell you. Most people try to buy more car than they can really afford. Remember, no matter how good that car is today, it is going to require maintenance in the future. Use parts of the car that are unfavorable to your advantage. If a car is not the color you are looking for, tell the dealer of how you like the car but its colour is deterring you from buying it.

Finally, as you inspect the car be sure to record all items which are damaged or will require replacement. If needed also remind the buyer that you will be taking the vehicle to your own personal mechanic so they do not think the list is for theirs. After you have collected a list of what you believe the car will require you can telephone auto parts stores to check the price and availability of replacement parts. Once you know how much the car will cost to repair if you buy it you can make an informed decision on what you would like to pay as well as increase the likelihood that the seller may reduce their asking price.

30-year-old model Laura Carter, discloses how an ordinary night at the club turned into an evening to remember with a party with one of the world’s most famous pop stars.

Kylie Jenner was nowhere to be found, even on social media, yesterday, 19th of November, when Tyga echoed his 26th birthday which his followers all over took note of.

As revealed by a source to TMZ, the young couple has broken up. They began dating in October 2014 and it was Kylie who decided to call it quit after she came back from her Australia trip on Thursday all because of “something Tyga did.”

"They are on a break," another insider tells us. "They were just a week or so ago talking about ‘ever after' and things got messy this past week. Kylie wants time to just be by herself and do her. Tyga is not giving up as that's his one and only lady."

Those close to the hip-hop star says that “he’s devastated” and refutes “doing anything” to warrant the break up.

The request by President Muhammadu Buhari to borrow an extra N1.6 trillion to fund the 2015 budget dragged the House of Representatives members into a shouting war yesterday.

The war which was between the All Progressive Congress, APC and the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP was aggravated by the claim of Mr. President that an extra N465.6 billion was needed to make subsidy payments. The PDP members despised the action as the held the view that the APC had before the election criticized the payment of subsidies to oil marketers.

The members of the PDP also pointed that the money that is being requested by President Buhari had already been used quoting that the letter was mainly to cover the hole drilled by the President.

Rep Femi Gbajabiamila, the House Majority Leader who on the President’s request led the debate pleaded to the members of the House to approve the request regardless of party lines to equip the government in the war against Boko Haram insurgency and to allow it resolve marketers of petroleum products as the country was facing scarcity of fuel which bites Nigerians hard.

His contention was supported by among others, Mohammed Monguno, APC, Monguno/Marte/Nganzai, Borno State; Zakari Mohammed, APC Baruten/Kaima, Kwara State and Mohammed Kazaure, APC Kazaure/Roni/Gwiwa/Yankashi, Jigawa State, as disclosed by Vanguard.

Kazuare had added that “we need the people to support anything President Buhari brings to the House.”

However, Rep Leo Ogor, the Minority Leader, was unperturbed as he highlighted a breach of parliamentary procedure in the request of Mr. President. He argued that the government had already used money on All Africa Games that had since been settled before the request was sent to the parliament.

Ogor, who supported the money to fight the insurgency in the North, picked faults with the subsidy issue. He noted that the APC kicked against subsidy claims as an opposition party, saying that subsidy was a fraud. He wondered when the party changed its position.

He also queried why N413.3 billion should be paid as fuel subsidy when the price of oil had fallen sharply as he then proposed that all relevant House committees rigorously interrogate the President’s request.

Gbajiabimila on interrupting Ogor as he spoke, raised a Point of Order demanding that the Minority Leader withdrew his comment that the APC had in previous times labeled fuel subsidy as a fraud.

It was this Point of Order demand that turned the chamber into an unruly platform with a piercing split between the APC and the PDP members. Speaker of the House, Yakubu Dogara was compelled to intervene saying he was unaware of any official claim of the APC fighting against fuel subsidy. Yakubu Dogara added that the President recently said that subsidy will not be removed.

Minority Leader who insisted on his position said that Lai Mohammed, the Minister of Information and Culture, is still the voice of the ruling government. A statement which the APC members did not accept and yelled at him to sit down; the reaction also incited the PDP members to urge Ogor on before the Speaker of the House again intervened and forced the Minority Leader to sit down.

Nkeiruka Onyejeocha, PDP, Isiukwuato/Umunneochi, Abia State, said the budget of 2015 had not been implemented up to 30 per cent, saying: “If we pass this supplementary budget, are they (APC) going to implement it? It is not about APC or PDP.”

The Minority Whip, Yakubu Badeh, on his part said the House was in support of anything that would remove suffering on Nigerians and that the PDP was in support of the subsidy in as much as it would impact positively on the common man.

Yakubu Badeh who is the Minority Whip said the House was in support of anything that would eliminate suffering on Nigerians and that the PDP supports fuel subsidy provided that it has a positive impact on the people. He added that the House should observe how the money for fuel subsidy was used to that the masses would have the worth of their money.

Dogara on placing the question if the bill on the supplementary budget should be read the second time got a resounding yea from the majority of the members with no shouts to the contrary.

The office of the president has labeled as absurd the Peoples Democratic Party’s, PDP’s statement that it is nurturing a killer squad against the party rulers.

President Muhammadu Buhari who spoke to Vanguard through his Special Adviser, Femi Adesina, in reaction to the PDP’s allegation, asked the PDP to cease embarrassing itself before the Nigerian people whom he claims already knows the truth.

Adesina who was very implicit in his submission stated that Nigerians know the party that is a nest of killers.

President Muhammadu Buhari has reassured Nigerians that his administration will soon defeat Boko Haram urging Nigerians not to be depressed despite the impact of bombings on Tuesday in Yola, Adamawa State and that of Kano State on Wednesday evening.

Mr. Buhari also summoned Nigerians to have “confidence in the ability of Nigeria’s reinvigorated, well-equipped and well-motivated Armed Forces and security agencies to overcome Boko Haram very soon”.

The Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Mallam Garba Shehu, who spoke on behalf of the President in the aftereffects of the terror strikes in the two northern states asked for an increased in alertness among the public to assist scare away terror strikes on soft targets in the country.

A middle aged man, on Wednesday in Kaduna slaughtered four of his children and attempted to kill himself after an alleged quarrel with his wife.

Today in Kaduna, a man in his middle age locked the entrance to his house and used knife to murder four of his children who were between the ages of 1 – 6years.

Neighbours said that the man enforced his wife to leave their house at Ahmadu Bello street in Kawo, Kaduna city, after they had argued all through the night.

One of the man’s child, who was not in the house when the tragic incident occurred, drew the attention of the ward head of the area on finding that the door to their house was locked from the inside this afternoon.

The police and the neighbours found the four children dead but met their dad alive in critical condition after forcing open the entrance door.

Police spokesman in the state, Zubairu Abubakar, said that the man and the children had been conveyed to St Gerards General Hospital in Kakuri, Kaduna.

Kaduna state police spokesman, Zubairu Abubakar, who said that the police had started complete investigation into the case, said that the man the bodies of the children have been sent to St. Gerards General Hospital in Kakuri, Kaduna state.

Abuchi Simon,37, was arrested and charged before Isolo Magistrate court after he repeatedly stabbed his neighbour, Ehis Ibhaze, over allegation of witchcraft and spiritual attack. According to P.M. News, the men, both residents of No 14, Ifelodun street, Ilasamaja, Lagos, were not on good terms when the incident happened. Simon allegedly accused Ibhaze of waging spiritual war against his family which he claimed delayed his progress.

A 37-year-old man named Abuchi Simon has been arrested and taken to Isolo Magistrate court after he stabbed a certain Ehis Ibhaze who is his neighbour continuously over claims of witchcraft and spiritual attack.

Both men who reside at No. 14 Ifelodun street, Ilasamaja, Lagos, were said to not have been on good terms when the incident occurred.
