Please is it advisable to sell my MTN shares I bought last December, the price as been falling like wetin I no know embarassed

Why did you invest in the first place? If you answer that question objectively you will be well guided.

MTN is doing well price falling is general market mode- bearish, not because of bad results or bad management or inability to reward shareholders.

If you invested for the long term please look away from falling price and focus on the fundamentals.
You have cash buy more as the price dip more, remember one of the products of MTN is data... DATA IS LIFE! is a slogan

Do they have an app?

Cos I prefer using an app to access most of this stuff. Since the acquisition of Investmentone by gtfunds I hardly pay attention to my investment there embarassed

Actually, FSDH has before now focused on institutions and HNI but with retail drive, App is a work in progress.

You can actually login to your account online it's seamless

pls, do u know the rate for fixed deposits

The rate depends on the bank and the amount involved.

Take advantage of the coral money market fund managed by FSDH for better rates. 10.11% as of two days ago and no WHT all interest is yours on like fixed deposit.

It's also flexible you can terminate after 30 days without any penalty, you can hold it as long as you wish and can top up any anytime with as low as 5,000

Talk to me with the number on my signature for more.

Hello @emmasoft. I was on Abacus (Investment One) for ages. After GTCO took over, the service greatly deteriorated! The new GTFund Managers' site failed (albeit still in the development stage). Downloading redemption form to fill in, scan and forward is kinda time-consuming! I had no choice but to shut shop. Now, with FSDH, my immediate serious concern is in the link below...

What's your take on this please? Regards.

https://www.agusto.com/ratings/agusto-co-hereby-downgrades-the-rating-of-coral-money-market-fund-to-bbbf/

Please note you don't have anything to fear.
Yes there was a time when there were issues because of some investment decisions of course they had to change leadership after the
incident but all that has been sorted.
You can see the performance for yourself, currently, CMMF is one of the best in the industry

So what brought up the rating has been corrected and I can tell you as far as CMMF is concerned nothing to worry about.
All underlying assets of the fund are low-risk investment instruments - T-bills and other money market instruments, in fact, the fund used to be called Treasury bills fund.
With the custodian, trustees, and almighty SEC as the regulators and parties to the fund rest assured you are in safe hands.

Kindly chat me up with the number on my signature I will be more than excited to have you onboard.

Now that u are there,I will see what I will do.

Thanks for the anticipated cooperation.

Please I need more explanation and how legit is this? Before someone will enter once chance , just new here.

FSDH is a reputable financial institution. It's actually a holding company with one of the first merchant banks in Nigeria in the group.
You can do business with FSDH and you are sure in the right place.
It's regulated by SEC and other concerned financial regulators.

There are some folks here already onboard.

Be assured doing business with FSDH is never one chance.

See contact on my signature for further discussions if need be.

I hope to hear from you soonest.

Una no gree pay us the extra you said will be given abi una no make above the guaranteed amount?.

Yes, it was supposed to be given but VGIF did not really do well and the condition for the extra as stated on the fund's fact sheet is the performance of the fund. It's the SDF benchmarked rate that is sacrosanct

You can take advantage of the Coral MMF now with a double digit rate.

Please what date will the bonus shares of McNichols be added into the portfolio of shareholders?

Please note when bonuses are declared only the qualification date is stated and adhered to unlike cash divided which has a payment date and companies are required by regulators to stick to that date, in the case of bonuses the date of crediting shareholders cscs account is not usually stated.
Bonus shares are credited after the AGM and necessary regulatory procedures are completed with SEC approval obtained.
So relax since you are qualified the bonus shares will be credited anytime even if you sell all your holdings now.

Good evening Oga Ernie4life and EmmaSoft. I will be very grateful if one of you or other gurus in the house can kindly advise about Stanbic IBTC Dollar fund account. Is the Dollar fund just similar to "shares" where the accured profit made over time, is by way of appreciation in the unit price or should someone expects interest payments like in the usual naira dominated money market mutual funds account? Many thanks.

Please note that dollar fund invest principally in Eurobond hence it's price based that means there is offer and bid prices ie your fund is not guaranteed value can be up or down.

Interest doesn't accrue rather dividend is paid annually base on fund performance and to some extent dollar funds behave like shares there can be price appreciation or depreciation depending on what eurobonds is doing.

Dollar fund is advisable if you have a long term in view otherwise on a short term you may lose money if you can't wait when price is down.

A major positive side of dollar fund is hedging against inflation/devaluation.

The above explanation is for dollar funds generally not just particular to IBTC dollar fund.

Good day fam,

Please I'm interested in the 90 days Treasury bills but I don't really have much knowledge.

What's the current rate?

Is there a minimum amount I can buy?

Where can I possibly approach to get it done?

Thanks

The current rate as per the primary auction is as shown in the table ie stop rate is 2.75%. To invest walk into the banking hall of your bank and make inquiries. I know IBTC used to accept 100k and above. Otherwise, you can invest in MMF as a better alternative.

What is the best online stockbroking firms / registrars to use in Nigeria? I am not based in Nigeria.

Thank you.

Come over to investment one stockbrokers.
Everything is done online and you will trade in real time anywhere you are in the world.
I have many diaspora clients onboard already. I will personally be there for after sales support.

Opening an account is simple and straight forward and it's free.
You need your id card, a passport photo, a utility bill, and your signature which will be uploaded on the form online,

To start click the link on my signature and complete the form.
My contact also is available on my signature. You can chat me up if you need further clarification.

Please note investors don't choose the registrars of a company it's instead the job of the companies to pick a registrar that takes care of that function. You automatically deal with the registrar of the company you invest in by default. So investors don't choose registrars.

GTCO @ 5 Zenith @ 3 UBA @ 0.98k

Even if such happens you will still see people waiting for more dip grin
I will advise everyone to play the market base on their investment objectives not others' perspectives.

No matter the state of the market investors/traders always believe it can go further down when it's down or it can rally more no matter how high. Also, we always have investors with their different junctions of entering a particular stock at any time which may never happen.
I remember when MTN was 90 some people were waiting at 50 junction, I guess they are still waiting while some junction was 25 for GTB when it was close to 40 today the price is even lower.

In all get your objectives right and you will be fine.

One of the disadvantages of holding cash especially if you are not very disciplined is that it could be diverted most times to liabilities. So buying a stock at a price that gives you a dividend yield of over 12% will not be a bad entry no matter what the price is saying. Yes better with a lower price but it's also risky to have cash lying idle because of inflation and the possibility of cash diversion. Just as in the popular saying idle mind is the devil's workshop Idle cash attracts liabilities.

Have you received Betaglass 1for5 bonus yet?

Usually, only cash dividend has a specific payment date, bonuses are credited into the cscs accounts of those qualified anytime after SEC approves the bonus. Investors may not know precisely when it will happen. You can always check your cscs once in a while to know when your bonus shares are credited.
This is a general rule. However, the time between the closure date and crediting of investors' accounts varies but be sure it will be credited since it has been approved by shareholders at the AGM
