The recruitment process for Examination Supervisors and Assistant Supervisors for the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) and the Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) Internal and External has been digitalized by the National Examinations Council (NECO).

The aim of this digitalization is to eliminate fraudulent activities in the recruitment process and improve efficiency and effectiveness of service delivery. The manual method of recruiting Supervisors and Assistant Supervisors has been replaced with an online system, which allows the generation of supervisors' Nomination forms, Appointment Letters, and e-photo Albums.

Additionally, the online system will facilitate the swapping of Supervisors and Assistant Supervisors during the examination period. Qualified teachers with NCE, Degree Certificates, Master's Degrees, PhDs, and Professors are eligible to apply as Supervisors and Assistant Supervisors for BECE or SSCE Internal or External examinations.

Previously, the recruitment of Supervisors and Assistant Supervisors was conducted manually by the Council.
