The current venue for FSB exam has urgently being changed.... pls notify others. Thanks!

All those documents are requested from you, and is very vital. Meanwhile, you can participate in the FSB exam, written interview section, without E passport, Medical cert,
Transcript, Recommendations. But in all, earlier provision of these places u on the right edge to be nominated. No oral interview for any scholars, only certificate evaluation (WAEC) and scoring, then 40 objective questions. Then afterwards, expect phone call from selected country for further direction. Thanks..
yakbauer:

Bros abeg no vex oh, but it was stated that the medical certificate, data page of intl passport won't be requested for until a candidate is nominated.
Secondly, pls what's the interview going to be like, will everyone (undergrad,MSC & PhD) all do a written test or PhD will only be an oral interview? Thanks
Education / Re: Bilateral Education Agreement (BEA) Scholarship Awards - 2018/2019 by emydnoble(m): 9:43pm On Feb 13, 2018
Yes it was not stated, wherein, overseas institutions significantly depends on Medical Cert and recommendations. It places u advantage more than other scholars within.

Hi. Are the Medical Certificate and Recommendation letters expected to be brought to exam/interview venue? Asking cause it wasn't stated in the advert.

Please.., I graduated with 2.2 in engineering, and have a masters (4.3 GPA), hope I'm eligible for the Phd programme?.. I saw among the requirements was to have 2.1 in undergraduate. Hope this doesn't apply for phd?..

2. Also I have only my masters transcript, will they ask for the undergraduate one during the screening/interview? NASU is on strike now so getting it na serious wahala.

Thanks as I await your responses wonderful people.
Worry no more on 2.2 and transcript, u are eligible for scholarship. Endeavor to have ur Medical Cert from govt hospital and Recommendation letter from academics. It is a golden rule to b nominated. Thanks!

this is where i got stuck.... you must have a very good knowledge of at least 2 of the EU languages; for people outside EU territory,

*** if it happens your mother tongue is one of the EU languages, you must have a good knowledge of one of the remaining 2 EU languages**.... (i presume English is our mother tongue in Nigeria, when it comes to international cases as this)......

i dont know any other language apart from english, and few of our local nigerian languages.. undecided

====================================================

"Languages
1) Indicate your mother tongue/s;
2) Add your other EU or non-EU language/s.
For EU citizens, the minimum requirement is to have a very good knowledge (C1/C2 level in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) of one of the three procedural/working languages (English, French, German) and another official EU language.
For non-EU citizens, the minimum requirement is to have a very good knowledge of one of the three procedural/working languages (English, French, German). If one of the three is your mother tongue, you must have a very good knowledge of one of the remaining two. "
It is better u skip English as mother tongue, choose extensively from 3 languages we have in Nigeria. Then English for other extra language. Use any external exam as certified prove, like WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, GCE, or any language Diploma u may have acquired so far in life. Best of luck to you.

Hmmmm! U didn't mention Mexico, Ukraine, Romania, Serbia, South Korea, Egypt etc. May be you were absent during this year test venue. Come to think of it, today being 9th November. Do u still expect phone call from above countries yet? Whereas 2017 academic year has kicked off. Any successful candidate now, is oriented towards 2018. Please, have a common sense. Don't blindly argue unnecessarily. Thank you!

Dont say what u dont know....
Hungary and China Scholars have already left
In respect to this, having two countries alleged to travelled for further studies; in which we have more than ten countries scholars applied for scholarship? In every nonsense there is always a sense in it, believe it or not.
Imperatively, FG needed finance, to honour their part of Bilateral Agreement signed.
Check for updates in our national dailies on FG OVERSEA SCHOLARSHIP.

As u wait for Ministry to deliver on that agenda, proceed urgently and apply for Master in Information Technology, IT on http://scholarship.nitda.gov.ng/Registration

I believe 2017 FSB SCHOLARSHIP crashed for lack of fund to finance Education budget. FG is working hard through the Senate to provide suplementary budget; to enable Ministry pay off existing debts of Nigeria bright scholars scatered all over the universe. Hopefully, 2017 candidates' list might be shifted for the new academic calendar 2018. Thank you.
