Truth be told, you can't stop it on your own. You need help from God to do so. In other word ask God for the grace to overcome, but you must play your own part.

First surrender yourself totally to the lordship of Christ Jesus and ask to take over your life. Then purge your heart of every thought immorality and pray and confess the sin of sexual immorality, sexual perversion and ask for the blood of Jesus to watch you clean then pray that God have mercy on you and deliver you from the powers of lust of the eye and lust of the flesh, sexual perversion or self servicing, sexual immorality like fornication adultery.

Doing all that will greatly help you in overcoming it. But during this process expect an upsurge in the desire to self service; it is the devil trick to make sure you fail and this you can overcome by reading the word of God or singing praise and worship in other word try and fill your mind with thought about God and His words.

It is good to marry but marriage is not the solution because whether you like it or not you will still go back to it. Situation will arise that will make you to.

The testimonies on this thread may sound unbelieving to you or too good to be true. You might have visited many men of God, carried out what some people called "ise woli" ( work of prophet ) burning of candles, washing of head, bathing in the river, buying of lux soap, white thread, needle and whatever work or thing that was required, and no good result to show for it and that's causing your faith in God to shake, even questioning or doubting the existence of God and His power.

You are here reading this and your heart is heavy and trouble and unsure of what to do. You want to approach God concerning your situation, whether God will respond or not. Not sure if God will consider you because of that you are on the sideline looking and silently crying in pain. Well, know this now that before you were born God has considered you, provided everything you need and solutions to every problem in your life. This is so because He sent Jesus down to this world to make and clear the way for us by paying the price at the cross of calvary.

I don't know what it is that you desire, that thing making your heart to be heavy and troubled, that thing or problem that seem or look unsolveable, but i want you to know that whatever it is can be taken care off by God the possessor of heaven and earth and all that is in it, God the creator.

All you need do is to surrender yourself totally to Him and tabled before Him all that's troubling you and have faith that your case is settle.

Jesus said if we have faith like that of a mustard seed and command the mountain to move that it will move. So the keyword here is to have faith in God.

So i encourage you to take that step of faith and take the step that the testifier here has taken which coming to cct but if cct is too far for you attend church like mfm. You don't need to buy soap, bath at the river do this or that before God can answer you. All what God want is for you to accept His son Jesus into your life as your lord and saviour and living according to His words.

In this journey of ours, we need faith to get to the end and get that we so desired.
so we shouldn't stop trusting the Lord. He will do that you so desires but when and how, that you leave to God to decided because He only knows the perfect time for you to have your desire but you must not stop nor relent in prayer and fasting too and also be watchful for the antics of the devil. So please don't question your faith in God.

To those still doubting about all the testimony on this thread my prayer is that God open your eyes and heart.

Call it negative or whatever but the truth must be told Nigeria is in dire situation that urgently required the supernatural intervention of God.

I am not a pastor or prophet but one trying to follow God way.

I believe for sometime now God has been speaking and revealing things to His people in visions, dreams and direct through spoken words.

The bold ones has come out to say what was revealed to them not caring about what people will say, while some of us could not come out due to the level of shock experience at how hardened people heart are, some are afraid and while some are not sure of what to do.

I know there are many prophet out there who are not of God but who am mine to judge or point them out when one has not been shown who the fake ones are but we can get a glimpse of who they are by their message and the fruits that comes out of them.

A friend of mine share this touching story with me on whatsapps and decided to share it here too.

Several years ago, a preacher from a distant town accepted a call from a church in Leeds. Some weeks after his arrival, he had an appointment that made him to board a bus to another part of the town. When he sat down, he discovered that the driver had mistakenly given him his balance in excess of 50 pence.

As he considered what to do, he thought within him, 'You'd better give this money back. It would be wrong to keep it'. Then another thought came, "Oh, forget it, it's only 50p; who would worry about this little amount, afterall the bus company makes so much money on fares; they will never miss it. Accept it as 'a gift from God' and keep quiet. "When he was getting down from the bus, he paused momentarily at the door, and then handed the 50p to the driver and said, 'Take; the balance you gave me was over'.

The driver, with a smile, replied,'Aren't you the new preacher in town?' 'Yes I am' he replied.'Well, I have been thinking a lot lately about where to go to worship. I just wanted to see what you would do if I give you balance in excess. I'll worship with you at the church this Sunday.

When the preacher stepped off the bus, he grabbed a nearby electric pole, looked up and said, 'Oh God, I almost sold your Son for 50 pence. Our lifestyles are the only Bible some people will ever read.

This is just a subtle example of how much people watch us as Christians, and will put us to test! Always be on guard -- and remember -- You carry the name of Christ on your forehead and shoulders once you call yourself a Christian. 'Watch your thoughts;they become words. Watch your words; they become actions. Watch your actions; they become habits. Watch your habits; they become character. Watch your character; it becomes your destiny'.

I don't know what you are seeking for but one thing you must know and do is to completely lay it down before God, humble yourself before Him and wait patiently for Him to manifest Himself.

In everything you do or seek, make sure it according to the word of God. Make sure God is your pillar, roof and foundations.

Stay away from idolatery, stay away from spiritualist, babalawo , astronomers and others form of consultation or worship that's indicate rebellion against God. Stay away from your vomit, don't go back to it and swallow it back inside your body and life.

When we pray God hear us and answer us; but some of us might be finding it difficult in getting the answers we want, not because we didn't pray according to the words of God but because we still need some purging to do within ourselves.

In isaiah 59 The words God said " 1 Behold, the Lord's hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear: 2 But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.3 For your hands are defiled with blood, and your fingers with iniquity; your lips have spoken lies, your tongue hath muttered perverseness. "

We go to church, we pray, worship and praise God. We are a worker in His vineyard, we have attended numerous praying and deliverance session but that answer which we so much desire is not forthcoming. Why ? Because we have sins of iniquity, perverseness, blood shedding, blood guiltness, lust of the flesh, eyes sexual immorality and perversion and pride of life still residing in us.

Some of us might not have those aforementioned in them but have what we called besetting sins, all those innocent looking sins, in the world they called it wisdom, cleverness, smart, no 6. Some will say small lie. You are 5 minutes from getting to a destination and you are lieing that in the next second you will be there. You always getting annoyed allowing our emotion to lead you.

When we pray and we still have one area in our life where we are lacking, preventing us from getting that which we ask for it will be reveal to us so as to do something about it and get that which we desires, because what was reveal to us is not the answers we want we over looked it.
Some of us need to undergo some waiting, a test of faith before that which we so desires can be giving to us.

I want us to know that God is not a man that He will lie or change His words ( read isaiah 55) when we pray according to His words He answer us because God honour His words more than His name that's why as followers of Jesus, Jesus reveal to us that our yea should be yea and nea be nea.

This last Sunday was told of a testimony about a lady who for some years in marriage have no child of her own and she was looking gloomy, under pressure and losing faith. She was told to let go of her worry and purge herself of the lipsticks, attachment and every other beautifying act on her body. She obey and it didn't took her two month before she took in. She is a Christian and believe in God but one area of life is depriving her of her answers. She got that answer she so desire after obeying and addressing that part of her life.

It is well with our soul in Jesus name.

Behold, the Lord's hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear: Isaiah 59 vs 1.

Our God hand is not short, is very long, strong and reliable and His ears are not heavy, He hear us perfectly well and answer us and in due time grant us that which we ask of Him. In other word our God JEHOVAH ELOHIM doesn't need our help to grant us all that we ask of Him. All He want of us is to stay true to Him, believing in His words and live according to His words.

8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. 9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. 10 For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: 11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. The last verse up there said it all. God word never return to Him void. It must do the work it was sent to do. In Gen 1vs 28:30 God spoke His words into man life. He says and i quote " 28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

29 And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.30 And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so".

Dear friend, this thread here to testify to the goodness and mercy of God and glorify Him. It also a thread to encourage ourselves in Christ Jesus and God The Father Jehovah Elohim. It is also to encourage others who haven't, to take the step needed and have a wonderful relationship with God.

Bro, I have my own share of dreaming about Jonathan and Nigeria.

Through what i was shown, i realised to do and complete the work God send him to do. We have to pray that he do not fall by the way side.

It pains me when i see men of God who supposed to know better engaged in castigating Jonathan, some even speaking negativel forgetting that, their tongue is anointed and bless with the power of God.

He also repeated his call for peaceful elections and for citizens to protect their votes. He spoke about how his regime’s success in fighting domestic terrorism.
He reiterated his decisiveness in dealing with enemies of the Nigerian state, recounting an episode when Chadian troops killed Nigerian soldiers, during the regime of Hissene Habré. This was despite the fact that Nigeria was giving petroleum products to Chad at that time.
“Unfortunately for him, (Habré) those Nigerian soldiers were under me,” Buhari said, to laughter from the audience.
Speaking on Maitatsine crisis, the former head of state, recounted how the problem recurring after the leader of the group was first exiled by the then Emir of Kano, then returned and was killed by the police.
When the group resurrected in Adamawa, Buhari said: “I flew into Adamawa as head of state, and that was the last you heard of Maitatsine.”
In the video Buhari took his time to explain his role in events like Nigeria’s observer status in the OIC, the so-called $2.8 billion ‘missing’ funds during his time at the NNPC, his time at the PTF, the famous 53 suitcases, among others.

Please someone should ask about the role that was play by the Nigerian police anti riot force play in this maitatsine menace, what about the gallant officers of the Nigerian police force ( mobile police and special standby squad ) who single handed drove this people to chad and surrounding their underground camp or base then.

In the wee hour before the attack, the mopol were given a surprise of their life when the maitatsine infiltrated and started hacking them to death if not for the alertness of the O.C mopol who woke up and started blewing his whistle and they retreated.

They were mocked by the Nigeria army and made ridicule off, do you know what happened to the Nigeria army, they suffered more casualty than the mopol ( popularly known as kill and go ) retreating. It was only a joint operation between the army,police and airforce that they were able to over power and subdued the group.

Now if he is claiming the glory not bad but he should be man enough and tell Nigerians what transpired? The Nigerian police force need to be given credit too.
