The issue of gay has been one among many issue rocking the foundation of the christiandom. Many people who profess the christian faith have taken it as a life crusade to have gayism accepted by the Church, advocating for change in doctrine. Please don't get me wrong, gay are highly welcome in the church, but not welcome to come and change God's word turning things up and down all the name fairness, equality and justice before man made law leading many astray. Below are verse from bible that point to us that gay and other form of sexual immorality and perversion is a no no in christianity. Roman 1:26-32 For this reason God gave them up to dishonorable passions. For their women exchanged natural relations for those that are contrary to nature; and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another, men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in themselves the due penalty for their error. And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a debased mind to do what ought not to be done. They were filled with all manner of unrighteousness, evil, covetousness, malice. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, maliciousness. They are gossips, slanderers, haters of God, insolent, haughty, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents, Though they know God's righteous decree that those who practice such things deserve to die, they not only do them but give approval to those who practice them. Romans 1:26-30, 32 ESV http://bible.com/59/rom.1.26-32.ESV Now I want to remind you, although you once fully knew it, that Jesus, who saved a people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed those who did not believe. And the angels who did not stay within their own position of authority, but left their proper dwelling, he has kept in eternal chains under gloomy darkness until the judgment of the great day— just as Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding cities, which likewise indulged in sexual immorality and pursued unnatural desire, serve as an example by undergoing a punishment of eternal fire. Yet in like manner these people also, relying on their dreams, defile the flesh, reject authority, and blaspheme the glorious ones. Jude 1:5-8 ESV http://bible.com/59/jud.1.5-8.ESV Now we know that the law is good, if one uses it lawfully, understanding this, that the law is not laid down for the just but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and profane, for those who strike their fathers and mothers, for murderers, the sexually immoral, men who practice homosexuality, enslavers, liars, perjurers, and whatever else is contrary to sound doctrine, in accordance with the gospel of the glory of the blessed God with which I have been entrusted. 1 Timothy 1:8-11 ESV http://bible.com/59/1ti.1.8-11.ESV Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God. 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 ESV http://bible.com/59/1co.6.9-11.ESV You shall not lie with a male as with a woman; it is an abomination. Leviticus 18:22 ESV http://bible.com/59/lev.18.22.ESV If a man lies with a male as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination; they shall surely be put to death; their blood is upon them. Leviticus 20:13 ESV http://bible.com/59/lev.20.13.ESV |

Almoner1: Do you know why nigeria is saddle with bad and myopic leadership, is because of people like you ( am sorry to say that but the truth must be told ) who like twisting fact to suit their stance instead of saying things the way they are. Must you go down this low to counter your opponent? The earlier the better you people realized that the people whom you are unashamedly defending are of one mind then the better it will be for Nigeria. Thank you and sorry if my comment is too harsh and offensive. Do have a good day and God bless you. |

BabaRamota1980: Thank you and God bless you for your reply. If nairalander can discuss issue the way you just did just imagine what nairaland would turn to. You raise some factors which i said i don't to delve into in my writeup because of the drama it will generate defeating the intended purpose of my write up which is we should not put all state on the same level. As stated Lagos has some advantage which other state does not have, the political advantage of being the former capital which mean the Federal government in the time past put some effort into developing Lagos into a position befitting her status as the federal capital and lucky enough for Lagos jakande came along the buba marwa and tinubu till ambode . Another advantage that play in favour of Lagos is her economic advantage over others and also being a major gateway centre of the country. Some people may want to argue about other state with port and crude oil but my question is if those state had receive the same attention from the then Federal government as Lagos will Lagos be the only state with such financial capacity? Please don't get me wrong that am in support of the wrongs going on some of those state, sometimes i wish means to deal with those governors. My opinion in term of development and provision of infrastructures in other state should not be put on the same level with Lagos. State should be assessed and judged base on their capacity not base on the capacity of a sister state. We should not look things from the angle of political party affiliation. Today we are hailing aregbe for some of the infrastructures but deep in my heart when i consider the cost and the debt the state is in right now i feel pity for the next incoming governor except oil price goes, the next incoming governor of that state will be seriously hamper in carrying out his or her campaign promises. Your last two paragraph sum it all on how ekiti can improve there lot and i alluded to the vast arable land in ekiti in my write up. Its all good on paper but this things also need some financial muscle which ekiti is seriously lacking. |

sirzent:Lol! Funny you. You want to turn this into drama. Some people were comparing the fly over bridge with ikoyi link bridge. |
![]() |
In as much as i want development in every area of this country i will not for the sake of sentiment argue blindly or join the herds in their opinion. Its a pity to see people comparing and contrasting the recently just commissioned fly over bridge in ekiti with that of Lagos and some 2 or 3 state. Questions people should be asking is how much is the cost of the fly over bridge? Was the cost inflated? Was there other under hand dealings? Is the quality of job done commiserate with the declared cost? Questions like this is what should be on people's mouth. In terms of infrastructure and all and pace of provision, right now no state can meet up with Lagos state because none of them can boast of the financial power of Lagos state and the advantages she enjoined being the former capital of the country and being a major gateway centre. Ekiti state and some other state can not even boast of one quarter of Lagos of Lagos financial power. In fact Lagos monthly income alone from internal generated revenue is the total yearly income of some state even adding Federal allocation to it. Now can people expect people ekiti to compete with Lagos. Is like saying our father should compete with the likes of dangote and fellow billionaire in catering for our needs. In reality is that possible? You and i know it not possible unless we want our father to kill themselves and throw the family into mourning and misery. Today many state are neck deep in debt to that it will take generations yet unborn to pay them off that's if we leave anything for them to just live by. Today many state are owning months of salary, pensioners are suffering and during before there time because of lack of proper health maintenance due to lack of financial capacity. Am not going to mention state so as to avoid creating another topic or drama off this write up of mine and defeat the intended purpose of this write up. Some state monthly recurrent expenditure far outweigh their monthly total income that is internal generated revenue and federal allocation and this state government are condemned to meet up with the recurrent expenditures and provision of infrastructures. How can such a state survive? Or even put up edifice like Lagos and Abuja ? Fayose of ekiti state did what he can do within the state financial capacity and don't forget he has salaries to pay. With current ekiti state financial capacity and the debt he claim he met that will took ekiti state till year 2048 to pay off that's if no debt is added. Don't forget not long ago a stat took home about 200,000 naira from the monthly federal allocation because of over indebtedness. Many state have put on hold many on going project because of over indebtedness and the bitter truth some state can't survive without the Federal allocation, their internal revenue generated is nothing to write home about. As a governor, fayose was appointed to improve the conditions of the ekiti people and one way i think he should have put massive effort on is the utilization of the vast arable land in ekiti state. That would have gone a long way in improving the lot of the people of the state and the state purse. Well let me stop here before delving into another angle. Please if we must argue, compare and contrast let do so with sense of morality and with facts. Thanks Take note i stand to be corrected. If you believe am wrong in my write up please do take your time to correct me or counter my point but with no insult. God bless you. 3 Likes |

Someone he value and respect more than you and am suspecting that the chances of seeing or coming in contact with people who know him and the someone is high in that location. So thank your star, count your blessing and name them one by one and give God the glory and move on. He is with you because of what he is gaining from you. RighteousI: Where is your faith? As a christian, a follower of Jesus Christ you need not be afraid of one eyo this or masquerade that. You have been place above them , wielding power and authority over them. In the beginning when Baba God create man, He created us in His own image and blessed us to reproduce, multiply and replenish the earth. He did not stop there but He went on to bless us with power and authority, to take dominion and rule over everything in the air, land and in the water but unfortunately through the act of disobedience and rebellion man lost those right and power to satan but thank God for Jesus whose coming and sacrifice has restored back all that back to us as long as you believe and accept Jesus as your personal Lord and Saviour. |

Immunization |
![]() |
For the past week now I have been reading news about the immunization being conducted by the Nigeria army and the buhaha it generating. A lot of people are throwing insult here there, calling concern and responsible parents idiot and illiterate. The question is are they really idiot or illiterate ? I see not wrong in the army trying to do some free community service in other word i see nothing wrong in the immunization exercise but everything became wrong when they try to do it without proper sensitization and parents consent. A responsible parents who are concern about the welfare of their wards will not hesitate to take their children away, why should they put their children in harm ways ? To prove to you they are literate abi well educated? A responsible parent don't care about that all they care about is their child life. It is stupidity of the highest order for a parent to allow vaccination they know nothing about on their child and without their consent and it is stupidity of the highest order and crime against humanity if any school should allow that on their premises or to their students or pupils while still in their care. If such thing happened, I will sue the school and the management for attempted murder, negligence or any other crime i can think of. So those of you insulting please stop it because you are also insulting your parent indirectly because as a responsible parents that they are, they too will not allow such thing to happen, they will behave exactly the same way this parents are behaving if they found themselves in their shoe. Peace. 1 Like |

TEYA: I see nothing in giving free vaccine but as a responsible parent it is wrong giving my child a vaccine i know nothing of and without my consent. The Nigeria Army goof big time, one would have thought by now they would have learn their lesson but no they refused to. Ordinary school excursion dey receive consent from parents. What stop them from sensitizing the people a week to the vaccination period and requesting for consent from parents? 3 Likes |
