In 2006 (N87/liter era) when there was a suppose scarcity in Nigeria, I bought a full tank lagos for a Chevrolet Express V8. From ijebu ode till Benin, all the gas station were selling 140/150/liter. I was doing "Iyanga" and refused to buy.
When I go to Asaba... 150/ liter ... I just bought a little cos my tank was low....

Nna brethren when I finally got to Umuahia same day.. it was 210/220 per liter... I started buying in bits till I go back to Asaba.... I ended up going to queue in the NNPC by Benin by pass...

In Lagos most of the gas stations are closed.

i wanted to sell mine cause the exterior was old and my wife felt it was misrepresenting. but when i drove some other peeps babyboy and EOD... i changed my mind.

It really a game of chance. when buying a naija used... infact i have seen 4 plugs with perfect engine and gear but guzzle fuel more than v6 engine...(catalyst gone) and the seller kept on claiming it 4 plug engine.. low consumption bla bla bla....
My suggestion... have a very good user or a mech go with you for inspection...
she still enjoy my ride ever day jare...with 3k fuel lasting her for a week -1 hour drive to and fro work daily(30/30mins)

I read number 7 and I think I understand what you mean. I drive a sienna but the car sometimes drags on the high way. I don't know if drags is the right word here but exactly as you described. I will apply the accelerator at times to floor level but the car will not move according. I have changed plugs, serviced nozzle and changed gear oil, no change. Are you saying is timing belt?

Same dragging happen to my Honda babyboy. Got my coil distributor serviced n d dragging stopped

A man was stopped by Nigerian Customs on his way to the East, And was charged to pay about N300,000 custom charge for his car which he refused and complain is too much.

After several arguments arose and out of annoyance the custom officer mistakenly shoot his fellow custom man in attempt to shoot the civilian.

hello ...pls I noticed my babyboy consumes too much fuel nowadays,and sometimes wen I accelerates,it stalls on d highway before picking up..the check engine light also blinks repeatedly and I feel loss of engine power too.pls what cud be d issue with it,I've stopped driving it for now cos of dis issues.my mech says it is a misfire and I need to service d nozzle but I don't trust him cos he doesn't have a scanner.

For the stalling, my electrician work on the distributor coil.
Mine used to have delays in picking ... Something when it changes gear... I will have to throttle down for it to move... Buy now the car races like a jet..
