Oga is this ur way of dodging ,because am sure you must have open the link and read through.
They are the least paid in all the whole country, some of anambra doctors had to relocate to other state civil service( off course Lagos inclusive).
Even in your dreams, stop comparing Tinubu's achievements as a governor to Peter Obi

I can’t believe that you’d display your low IQ to this extent ffs grin

You posted an article from when doctors were on strike and I simply told you that after the new salary scheme was implemented that they became one of the highest paid medical staff in the country. What is hard to understand there abi are you suddenly finding it hard to comprehend English?

You have no point here and comparing Lagos that was once an FCT and with the magnitude of resources at its disposal, still rates low among other African cities in its category to Anambra that was decimated by the war and officially created in 1991 is laughable lmao. You should be ashamed of yourself for supporting a Tinubu that has robbed Lagosians blind for over a decade

You are extremely heartless, there is nothing on earth to justify allowing doctors go on 13 months strike, that is over a year.

Who’s the heartless one please? The one that advocated for 60% of new salaries or the one advocating for outright sack of 788 breadwinners? Abi does heartlessness have another meaning in your own dictionary?

So it's cool to allow doctors go on 13 months strike,so that's a good leadership to you. Na wa o

The same article you shared clearly stated that he offered 60% from the beginning of the strike but the doctors remained adamant even after he told them the state couldn’t afford to pay 100%. So to you the alternative is to cut short the livelihoods of 788 breadwinners to prove you’re a “strong man”? Sometimes I wish you guys would wake up and come back to reality

Do you know what it means to go 13 months strike? Tinubu is not insensitive to allow that to happen at the expense of the people he is serving. You must be heartless o

At the end of the strike PO was one of the few if not the only governor to implement 60% of the proposed new salary scheme. Till today, Doctors and Lecturers in Anambra remain among the highest paid in the country due to PO’s successful efforts at conflict resolution back then, that’s what true leadership is!

We don't want a lily delivered president like Obi, we need a godfatherless President that can take decisions

Lmao so instead of sitting down to dialogue with the people responsible for saving the lives of your citizens and address their needs the answer is to sack 788 doctors? Even a wild beast can’t be half as heartless as some of you should you get small power grin. PO has no Godfather and he’s answerable to the people who elected him to work for them unlike Tinubu who believes that he’s doing us a favour by contesting to be president

He was offered 15% stake in International Breweries greenfield facility for bringing them to the state but he gave 10% to the state govt and remitted 5% to Next. It’s all there in black and white. He never TOOK those monies it was offered to him for facilitating a deal and one which he never benefited from personally. Now how about this?

First of all let's get some facts right - When Tinubu became Governor he found out that some few people were milking the State via tax collection. This was how the scheme worked, if company owed the State 1 Billion Naira, they will make a deal with the company to pay a fraction while they share the rest among themselves. This was why the state IGR was so low. Tinubu as an accountant came in and put an end to that, they went form 800 M to 16 Billion. Was there some ethical violations? yes, but the State was able to collect a lot more than they were collecting previously. I know family members who were scheming the State via this tax collecting before Tinubu, they were rich as hell while the State was suffering. Now they all hate Tinubu for scraping the old archaic corrupt system.
You pointed to the ADC being all Northerners but you ignored that fact that Tinubu appointed Igbos into his cabinet. the financial guy Akabueze is still the longest servicing Politician in Lagos and he's from the SE. My fore fathers are from Lagos State and a lot of my people are mad at Tinubu for appointing others from other States, I hear this as their main grouse against him on daily basis.
You also ignored a known fact that Obi invested Anambra's money into his won family business (Obi himself admitted that he did), what can be more corrupt than that? Obi has money hidden in foreign account used by corrupts politicians to hide money as exposed by the Pandora papers but you faint ignorance of that while remembering all that false and unproven accusation/allegations against Tinubu. Well done grin
Is Obi a saint? HELL NO. not even close.
Pls stop spreading fake news about Tinubu collecting 70 Percent of Lagos IGR, that's simply comedic.
I wish you good luck with Obi, but I'm confidently confident that Tinubu is the Next President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Have a good day. Peace.

Can you point me to what family business PO invested the state’s money into? Let’s start from there first then secondly about the money in offshore accounts, that’s not illegal sir and if you understood how financial vehicles worked you’d know that EVERY person of wealth from Zuckerberg to Bezos to Musk to even Ronaldo all try to avoid paying unnecessary taxes which is why they move good sums of money to tax free havens. Till today no case has been presented about him by the EFCC. Secondly, I’m not the one saying that Tinubu owns a 70% share in a ABC that is what Dapo Apara accused BAT of before Tinubu agreed to settle out of court for fear of his underhanded dealings coming to light. I will be attaching pictures and a link as well for your perusal and would be waiting for your evidence on PO’s alleged family business. In the meantime what do you have to say about Tinubu’s unemployed daughters purchasing apartments in New York in cash Shalom brother

You do realize that doctors were paid every month that they were on strike same as ASUU right? I have a doctor friend who was working in Anambra at the time that can confirm this and I can bring articles as well. Mind you it was a nationwide strike and their counterparts in Lagos were sacked for striking, what do you have to say about that?

Nice try. At least you are employing the right tactics to get people to vote for Obi. grin

Tinubu is my candidate for obvious reasons - Nigeria is a mess and we need capable hands that can deliver right away.
Tinubu is not a saint, no one is a saint in Nigeria. But he has the knack for identifying smart capable hands from all nooks and corners of Nigeria.
That's my main reason for planning on voting for Tinubu. Sentiments apart, he has better records in terms of delivery than all the other candidates.
Obi is young and smart but he does not have any record from been the Governor of Anambra that gives me the confidence that he can do better for Nigeria. Tinubu with all his faults has demonstrated the ability to overlook tribal and religious sentiments to appoint and promote smart intelligent and capable hands to direct the affairs of the State. That's what Nigeria needs more than anything else.
No one person can solve the problem of Nigeria even if you have PDH from Harvard and MIT.
Lagos is a mess, yeah but in terms of development it's still way ahead and far above all other regions of the country.
While Tinubu will take the blames for the mess, he also has to take the credit for the good part too.

Tinubu is my candidate, if Tinubu wasn't running I might have considered Obi.

Chief would you agree that it doesn’t make sense first of all to compare Anambra that was decimated during the war and created officially in 1991 to Lagos that was an FCT since time immemorial? Looking at the revenue of Lagos to Tinubu’s performance as governor would you really say he accomplished anything special? Hope you know that every police CP that PO worked with and his ADC were all Northerners so the issue of tribal sentiment doesn’t even cut it if you ask me, also judging from Anambra’s revenue to development ratio even the UN recognized PO for meeting the MDGs set aside for leaders across the world to follow. Besides that fact, look at the antecedents of Tinubu both in and out of office, why is it that once you oppose him or seem to not follow his way of thinking he does everything he can to remove you or frustrate you even at the detriment of the masses? The commonwealth of Lagos for more than a decade has been used to fund one man’s personal ambition and opulent lifestyle of him and his family not to mention the various controversies of fraud, drug related money laundering, paying of million dollar houses abroad in CASH for his daughters and much more, does that tell you that he has the interest of Nigerians at heart? If Lagos were not blessed to have had a seaport and being a former FCT do you think the achievements you cited would have been possible? Lest we forget the same “smart capable hands” you say he identifies have been embroiled in one corruption case or the other numerous times abi is it the case of Alpha Beta where the man credited with founding it revealed that BAT collects as much as 70% of money generated from tax collection? C’mon bro you can do better honestly

The entire south east, even though I am not from South East, I doubt if you Know the environment more than I do

I have been visiting Anambra state long before Obi became a Gov. Till this moment, nothing has changed safe for the flyovers constructed by Willie at Aroma and Unizik junction.
The hometown of Obi, Agulu has remained a ghost village. The roads Obi constructed when he was a Gov at Nnewi by bank roads, all have been washed away. Few months, I was in Anambra from Ogidi, Idemili, Akwuzu, Onyeagu, Awka roads, Limca by People's club/ Obosi all have been turned to major dumpsites.
Obi can't win a local Govt election in Kano state or Lagos state if he was to be judged by his performance as a former Governor

Is this the place you called a ghost village lol? If you want to lie about something at least make it something that can’t be easily debunked and disproved. I already told you that I don't remember the name of the village, that was many years ago. That's what I sounds like to me if I try to remember the name.
What I witnessed has been confirmed by my Igbo friends as the norm in the SE. I also witnessed this over a period of about a week not just on one day. I also had an Igbo man that was one of the contractors I had hired many years ago while building my first house in Lagos. I noticed that he didn't go home for xmas, I asked him why and he said basically the same thing. He told me that if he doesn't have the kind of money he's expected to have made in Lagos, he ain't going home. I was shocked, because this was a guy that was doing very well financially as of then. He's skill was very much in high demand and was making good money in Nigerian context.

Chief I’m telling you that your Igbo friends are either suffering from an inferiority complex or allowing undue pressure from kinfolk get to them which brings me to my next point. The going home for Christmas thing is not necessarily limited to the Igbos alone, it has more to do with the mentality that as someone living in the “city” which they assume means you must be rich then that when coming back you can’t come empty handed. It’s like me saying that Yoruba people are dirty because of the few encounters with unhygienic Yoruba people that I know or that Hausas are not academically inclined which also despite applying to some sets of people can’t be used to generalize a whole tribe. I’m igbo but honestly I was raised in PH, Niger, Imo and Abuja. I don’t do the tribalism thing myself and I know a good number of us that don’t fit into your rhetoric, we can’t be fighting for a better Nigeria and still be fighting each other ontop of baseless and trivial issues like this, shalom brother

Don't remember the name of the village, the year was 2008. Agunji village? Not sure. The host had a huge mansion with tennis court and swimming pool. While at the wedding I quickly noticed how everyone was bowing down to the rich guys especially my host. I was sitting very close to him hence I saw the whole tradition and how rich people are treated.
Hey, every tradition have their own pluses and negatives but the way you guys treat those with money is very un African. Grown old men almost kissing the foot of rich young guys, that will never happen in Yoruba land. (A rich young man in Yoruba land will get some respect but not almost worshiped like a god regardless of your wealth. elders will not bow to you even if you are Elon Musk)
And especially the way Igbos online talk about others worshiping their leaders, you will never think that just having money in Igbo land alone makes you a god. I have an Igbo friend who explained to me that what I saw is normal in Igbo land.
He said that's why Igbo men will do anything for money because if you don't have money, you are nothing in the community. And with money, you are king even the elders will bow.

grin Now I know you’re just here capping, there is no place like Agunji in the whole of Anambra not to talk of the East as a whole lmao. And as for the money part, yes I know we can be capitalistic but don’t use the experience of less than 1% of the population of a tribe to generalize unless you have proof. I can personally point you to Igbo families I know who are some hidden billionaires but despite their wealth three of those families have been labeled as “Osus” from the time of their grandparents, why didn’t they use their money to influence those decisions then? If money was so important why couldn’t Arthur Eze or Cosmas Maduka, both billionaires in USD buy kingship titles in their state? What you described might have happened but that is very far from my culture and whoever did that is just plain shameless. Thank you for your contribution sha

Your life must be worthless to bet it on such an infantile assumption. I have been to Awka, I was there for a friend's wedding in a village not far from the Capital. I was expecting to see a much developed city but in reality, there's was little difference between the village where the wedding took place and Awka itself. We drove to Awka many many times to use the AMT and for other things that we could not find in the village.
Our host was a gentleman with a huge mansion in the village and it seems like everyone bow down to him even the those that are older than him (this will bever happen in Yoruba land regardless of your wealth). I was there for a whole week before flying back to Lagos. There was no airport at that time in Awka at that time (not sure of that now) hence we had to drive to I think Enugu for our flight back, I even met Osofia ( The Actor) on the flight.

Name of the village you stayed at chief and what year did this “trip” take place?
