Sorry to say but some people can be very STUPID. How do they go to write a formal mail asking about if their card would withdraw from Paypal.

When they know that it is not allowed in Nigeria.

Nigerians can be real problem. I am sure this thread is partly responsible for the issues of the Africard today because of this kind of foolish acts.
I've suggested that we delete this thread. Whatsapp can be secretive enough.

Hello, guy, I got a message from Paypal telling me that the new policy doesn't affect my account. If you are unable to withdraw maybe you should check your email and see what Paypal has sent to you.

I'm on this call, FC rep called one Walter agency and it was a rep from this Walter agency that picked the call, which was later transferred to another rep in that same agency before it was then transferred to the actual customer, who happens to be the owner of the agency in question. Do I label all the speakers from the agency as customers? Or do I have to label the reps from the agency as Reps and then the owner as the customer?
Three Reps, one Customer.

I transcribed a call and I got 5 by the rater, but I got this note - Other (Please contact Arlen and tell her the reason).

Should I go ahead and contact her?
Same thing happened to me today. Two of my calls were rated 5. Then I got that note on them. I reached out go her, and she said it's an internal problem. Doesn't concern us.

Guys, I have one prayer point for you guys. Pray that SCC {29} doesn't rate your call. Either you get 2 or 3. The note on it is always: Wrong format for numbers below 10.

Guys please .
What can be wrong?

I did a transcription this morning..and i was giving a REDO. After then, I received their mail telling me that i will be paid.
Only to go back to my profile to see that the two attempts were Rated 2 and 1 respectively.

The two mails i received were even: Congrats! You will get paid for your first high-quality transcript....

Please, can somebody help look at it?

Is this normal or i dint get it right?

I have registered and created the Lesotho PP on Thursday, I took my first call this morning but only about 75% of the call was clear to me, so I had to release the caall because I was scared of low rating which could affect my affect my confidence as a newbie.. I have been mastering the FAQ since morning and planning to start by Monday....Seriously crowdflower is a joke when compared with transcription job.... for my seniors in the house, can you guys share with me the experience of your first call? I really need to boost my moral while sharpening my cutlass with FAQ grin
Expect a 1 rating. I'm not cursing ooo. You need to start to get better at it. No matter what you read on the FAQ, without doing and doing and doing it, you are not going to get any better. Las las dem go give you a 2 for the start. Don't focus your energy just to hear what they are saying, be in the conversation with them and have a nice time in the session. grin

hello, please What are the requirements to get the card?
Mode of Identification e.g National ID, if you have a UBA account; you won't need passport photograph, Utility Bill e.g PHCN bill. Then you need at least #2000 to load on the card.

Load MTN #200 dial *131*65*2*1# that's 1GB for 1 week.

For those who complained about starting a work all over again after spending several hours on it. This is what happened; you changed browser. When you start a work with Chrome, for example, end it in chrome. Don't go and continue in an Opera mini. This is applied to either phone or laptop. If you start a work on a laptop, finish it on a laptop. Don't ever continue on a phone.

Don't come here again and start wailing of starting a job all over again, please.
I've decided to enlighten you guys more.

Use your phone to Transcribe via Chrome. There's nothing like Timestamp on it.

For those who are still new to Qa. Don't worry about your ratings yet. Because I'm pretty sure it's because you are still new. Trust me, when I started I hardly hear what those white guys say. I detest using "the release button". So I would prefer to have mis-heards than letting it go. I've had countless of 1s and 2s ratings. Whenever I get a 3, I dance my ass out grin. But that's way gone now. I can easily hear what they say with my cheap ear piece and still come back having a 5. The only trick is consistency and persistency. You will want to get tired, a time will come that you will wail and log out of Qa. After working on a call for hours and you were rated 2, which is $0. Here comes the re-do courtesy but to no avail, you got a 2 again... Don't worry, just keep doing it and you will see a result. The goal is not to hear what they are saying but to enjoy their conversations. Laugh and smile on a call and you will find it easier to finish a call in a very short time...
Cheers.
