Religion / Re: Bishop David Oyedepo Of Winners Chapel Retires? by Etfash(m): 10:18am On Jan 09, 2016 |
Sometimes, when a man is anointed by God, his entire generation could be. Aaron the High priest and David the king of Israel readily come to mind. Now, the above doesn't mean the call on Bishop David Oyedepo is generational; it however calls for caution. If I am not sure about the nature of his calling, I don't have business with who he hands over to or how he does it. 2 Likes |

shodexy: Many can tell you when it started but, I do not think anybody here knows when it will end. However, it's always better to make hay while the Sun shines (especially if you are in Nigeria, where Power Distribution Companies may not give you light to dry it ). Romance / Re: I Finally Called Him Last Night! We Didnt Break Up. by Etfash(m): 8:00pm On Jan 04, 2016 |
Vizkiz, I agree that we ought to spend wisely. As a matter of fact, I live like that. But, of recent, I have realized that the way I think isn't necessarily the best. This is because some colleagues who went ahead and took car loan at my office then aren't doing badly today. Having said the above, different strokes for different folks. Sometimes, getting a car can be cheaper than hopping on commercial vehicles weeks in and out. For example, if I was still in Lagos, I would have long bought a car. As for the 3 b/r apartment, I wouldn't get it, if I was him. I would remain in my r/p (self), get married and plan on building my own house. Building is usually easier than paying huge rent. But then, my opinion isn't necessarily the best because, he can get the 3 beds and still be financially free early in life. In all, variety is the spice of life; we should observe other people's choices and see how far they go with them. Meanwhile, a hearty congratulations to Op! 7 Likes 1 Share |

Car Talk / Re: Checkout These Cars Manufactured By Innoson Manufacturing Company Nigeria(pics) by Etfash(m): 2:20pm On Dec 31, 2015 |
We have seen similar products online and in the news before. It's time, Innoson got more serious. People will not just purchase your product(s) because it's indigenous. If I have my way, I will sack the entire marketing department of that company. Here is a product that is definitely cheaper, relative to foreign manufactured ones, made in a country with above-board taste and resources. Yet, the product is so poorly marketed. What is the price of these vehicles? No idea! My advice: Innoson, get more serious by engaging in aggressive marketing: buy advert time in the news and dailies. Come and set up a factory in Ogun or Lagos state to be more visible; invade the peaceful parts of the North (give a few as gifts to the Northern leaders and elders), establish IVM repair points in Kano and Kaduna... 3 Likes |

Op, good topic there. Just remove the Nigerian flag, list 15 of the 25 countries with brief notes on them and if possible spice your posts with pictures. After the above, refer viewers to your site to see what number Nigeria is. If you do the above, other things being equal, this topic will make front page and you will direct more traffic to your site. Cheers! |

stevehoney: I once read somewhere that certain investments are accepted. Examples are: Bank tenured deposits, Treasury bills, Mutual funds etc. But not real estate. Now, the stocks might be dicey, you know the instability in our economy at this time... If you are ready to forward your application, why not sell the stocks, put the money in any of the options above and use your CSCS + a brief explanatory note as supporting documents? Note that I am not sure if they accept CSCS or not. The above is just my thought and suggestion. Cheers! |
Romance / Re: Can You Really Love One Person All Your Life? by Etfash(m): 3:11pm On Dec 28, 2015 |
I quite agree with the person who said he has loved his mother all 'day'. We love family members because we cannot change them. No matter how your mum or dad hurt you, you still let it go. You know within you that you cannot choose another. So, if both parties 'the lovers' see their relationship as one that lacks alternative, in order words, both parties have sealed it in themselves that no one is going anywhere, then they can always patch things up and refuse to call to heart past wrongs and commit to spicing up the relationship. By the way, I believe that there is only one person that one can actually love without thinking. Once such people are missed, one can only make up ones mind to love another person. More often than not, we don't get to marry our first love. That way it becomes easy to manage marital relationship with ones head and will not just the heart. 1 Like |

Hello everyone, Attention: JesusDWay et.,al. More than 65% of my settlement fund has been on ground for a while (I've been gathering it since August ) However, I am raising the balance from the sale of a property I bought long ago. My questions: 1) Wouldn't the SINP's requirement for Settlement funds (funds must have been sitting in Principal applicant's account for at least 3 months before the application) negatively impact on the outcome of my application? 2) Do you guys think a convincing supporting documents would do any good? 3) What about OINP? I honestly don't even want to take a chance with those guys seeing they might just go ahead and swallow my $1,500.00 without blinking an eye. I will appreciate your response(s). |
Politics / Re: Fayose Distributing Bags Of Rice To People In Ekiti. Photos by Etfash(m): 12:16am On Dec 24, 2015 |
Many of you guys don't know Peter Fayose. He's been doing this before he ever contested for any political position. Fayose took water to places where there was no drinking water, distributed kerosene to the indigents free of charge and so on before he even became their governor. For the people from the Teach-me-to-fish school of taught, may I ask you if you knew that not everyone has something doing... That rice may look small to some of you, but it isn't to many... For the likes of Tonyebarcanista and others like him, life is more than just eating to stay alive; you have lofty dreams: own your car, change it when you want to, go for vacations in exotic holiday locations and so on. But for many of these people rejoicing in Ekiti, they don't even think about such luxury, their prayer and earnest expectation is 'where will the next meal come from?'. The moral is this, we often tend to forget who we were once we attain certain heights in life; when somebody always remembers he was a nobody, refuses to forget that so many are still where he was and does something for them; we are quick to measure what he or she has done with our new yardstick for measuring 'life'. In my opinion, what he just did might be an answer to somebody's prayer. So, let's leave him alone. 2 Likes |
Investment / Re: I Have N5m. What Investment Is The Best Direction. Thanks by Etfash(m): 6:25am On Dec 23, 2015 |
The two lines below are my advice towards the suggestions and counter suggestions about transport business given above. You don't have to fail where others failed; but gain from other people's experience! Also, if the money was not given to you as a gift, develop yourself better to get more from doing what you are doing. |
Romance / Re: She Wants Me To Allow Her Friend Spend Some Nights At My Place by Etfash(m): 12:21pm On Dec 19, 2015 |
Op, you said both of them do come to your place but your girl's friend isn't aware of your relationship... Well, why didn't the girl just ask you directly, since both girls are your friends (If she indeed doesn't know about your relationship with her friend)? My advice: Tell your friend, you wouldn't be able to accommodate her at this time. There is no need for too many stories - let her get angry, she will get over it. Don't try to play superman now bro, if anything happens after all, your girl will blame you. Sarah blamed Abraham, God sided with her and commanded Abraham to do what she asked for; Adam blamed Eve, but it was not acceptable to God. The Moral is this, you have no reason to fail as a man! 1 Like |

ifenes: I have seen you attack just anything God/Yahweh or Christ in this forum. You are entitled to your opinion as much as everybody else; but what baffles me is why you have so much hatred for the Almighty. Is it share show of knowledge or something born out of personal experience? You are so young - but, from my experience in life, everyone will bow to one thing or the other eventually. Some to vanities and some to the Living God. Trust me, I have my questions too; but, I have come to see that my thoughts, perceptions and personal discoveries will eventually die with me. A few people may swallow some of these your thoughts.. But, at the end, even when you are long gone, if Christ delays his return, many will still be serving Yahweh. You cannot fight what is bigger than anything and everything. Peace! 1 Like |

Taiwotron: Although this question is directed to zandora, i can answer it on her behalf since i have been here for a while . She didn't get her ITA through the Ontario Human Capital stream but from CIC. With respect to the PT, many may think otherwise, but i don't see why you will be denied a provincial nomination if you are able to prove that you actually have documents to back up your 406 points. NB I also got the PT last Friday. The truth is, i will like to stay in Ontario; but the time frame given to respond to the PT NOI is rather short - i don't rule out the likelihood of meeting up with the financial requirements though.. There is nothing the Almighty God cannot do. 1 Like |
