Hello @Ticha,

Please can you send me this spreadsheet too? evagreenfields@gmail.com

Thanks.

Ticha:

I'm assuming you won't be driving into London? Therefore you need to follow the train lines. Based on the time tables, you can see from which stations you can get into central London under an hour then start house hunting there. Be very aware that all those cities will also have a London mark up prices for rental purposes and the closer to the station the property is, the more expensive it will be as well.

The husbot worked in London for 18 months and we wanted to be within an hour's train ride (got in at Euston Station), we ended up in St Neots. It was 42 minutes to Euston and a relatively small market town with everything you need. I think I still have the spreadsheet we created with all the train times/ costs (costs would be wildly different now) and rental cost (also different). If you send me your email address, I'll forward it on to you and it may help you narrow down your choices.

Hello guys,

This is super helpful.

Thanks.

Allegory:

I dont think there's any WhatsApp group that would teach you about the entire pnp program. What I did was read through the old pnp thread(its closed now but you can still find info there), write down all the PNPs suggested there then visit their individual websites and cross out anyone you're not qualified for. In the end you may be left with 1 or 2 or even none, then you can come back to nairaland, do a search on the province and get more info or try to find WhatsApp groups for the province you're interested in.

Thanks Ednut,

Yes I am in the EE pool...I do not have siblings or relatives there so no extrapoint on that one.

ednut1:
are you in the pool Is your noc in demand . Study the websites more to understand. Some chose from pool, some you have to apply, some you need job offers, some you need a relative in that province.

Hello all,

Please is there an active whatsapp group for PNP that I can join? I keep seeing people getting PNP left and right but it is quite unclear to me on the website of the provinces that I have visited.

Thanks.

Or you could use pigg.y--v.est.
They have a dollar saving feature which allows you to transfer to your domiciliary account at a charge of ₦3500.

Their exchange rate is slightly higher than the Black market though. It currently stands at ₦485/usd

Thank you Tenderjunkie.

It worked out well using pigg-yv-est.. Hassle free as well.

I think what you can do is to look for a Bureau de Change that has a dorm account and can help you transfer the amount of dollar you wish to buy. It might come with added charge if possible...

Thanks for your quick response. It has actually been quite herculean, the ones I saw said they did not have inflows for Standchart bank. The other 2 keep promising today and tomorrow...I have been on it for about a month now.

I ll keep looking . Thanks.

Good morning,

Please does anyone know the best and most effective way that I can fund my Stanbic dollar mutual funds, given the current restriction on dollar payment in Nigeria. I can't buy cash because the holding account does not accept cash.

Thanks in advance.

I had this same issue, rain fell in the middle of my exams and my trusted internet which I watch HD video with stopped working, I couldn’t exit the platform to connect to other another internet. I just sat there panicking until the weather improved. I emailed

Abiola.Okai@aicpa-cima.com and copied Yetunde.Okunoren@aicpa-cima.com

They gave me a complaint form. I filled and followed the instructions. I asked for a refund or a resit or any assistance but nothing. This was 3 weeks ago. I have mourned the loss of my money and I am greatly demotivated. I’m just going to wait for the Centers to reopen.

Hi there,

So same day it happened, I filled a complaint form on their website and on Thursday, I called their contact centre in the UK to explain myself. The agent that I spoke to open a case for me.

About 30mins ago, I got an email to reschedule.

Call their contact centre during working hours, I'm sure they ll profer a solution for you.

Hello everyone,

So I was scheduled to write BA4 online today at 9pm but I had issues login on because of internet connectivity (it has been raining all day)

I had tested out my system 2 days earlier and it was successful.

I tired reaching out to the help desk via chat and phone call but they were not available (I guess it is a time of the day thing)

When I eventually got access to the application after oscillating between 3 internet providers, it was already about 22mins past my scheduled time, I was not granted access to the exam.

please I want to find out if anyone has had this issue and how they went about resolving it

I know a lot of people that got their visa without travel history.

I don't think it's a good idea to travel with everything that is happening now.

However, I will advise you to find ways to provide them with convincing supporting documents and reapply.

Also, if you were denied any visa in the past or you overstayed your visa kindly indicate that.

Thank you for responding.

It is much appreciated

Hello everyone,

please I need advise.

Applied for TRV in 2019 but was denied on the basis of insufficient funds, purpose of visit and travel history.

I recent just got a UK plus Turkey visiting visa and was meant to travel next week ( to address the Travel history bit) but because of the lock down I cancelled this.

I intend to apply again to Canada by end of Apr(stating purely tourism) whilst addressing eveyother previously stated reason for denial but the travel history.

What are my chances without a Uk/ Turkey entry exit stamp on my passport?

I think you should be able to log in to your application and cancel it then request for the return of your passport.

Try that and see if it works or try what Calypso1234 suggested

thank you @justwise and @calypso1234

I went to TLScontact and they said that even if i requested a withdrawal of application, it lld take about 3 - 7 working days to have my passport returned. Since destination country is SA and those ones are highly unstable, I didnt bother again.

just told my office I ll be unable to go so that they ll nominate someone else.

I'm pained sha ☹
