Stakeholders list comprise of Government Sister Agencies in the Oil and Gas Sector.

Historically they give one week heads up notice for the induction. If induction is in 2 weeks time, we can infer that the list will be ready next week

He's correct with balancing things like gender and federal character. For anything that has to do with the NNPC - including the Nigerian operating companies of Multinational companies, Federal character must be considered. It is the law in the oil and gas industry. That is not to say that's the first thing they will consider. The first thing they will consider is merit. Before they now ensure that it is balanced over gender and regions. Mind you while Shell is Dutch owned, the nigerian operating company is registered as Shell Nigeria Exploration & Production Company (SNEPCo) and Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria (SPDC).

If you check that advert, you will see the the logo of NNPC at the bottom of the page, saying Shell is the operator of the NNPC/AGIP/Shell JV. If you have access to all newspaper adverts of any oil and gas company that is an operator - you will also see it there. The poster is 100% correct when it comes to what they are balancing.

If you recall the recent Total E&P Nigeria application, They also asked for state of origin in the application because of that reason.

Okay, I just checked this, first of all, the application is in Netherlands. I believe when you were applying you were asked if you had authorization to work in the country where the job is located or if you needed visa sponsorship to enable you work. On their site, I think I saw where they wrote apply to places where you have work authorization, that should be the basic reason you were screened out by the ATS.

Not a flat rate. It will be a range, ofcourse you don't expect HR to be on the same amount of money as Engineering. There will be difference in pay depending on how technical/risky the position is

Shell have what they call degree matcher. They match the degrees to available positions. For example someone that studied political science will be considered for Human Resources and Downstream commercial for example. With Engineering being considered for upstream technical roles

Those who have done assessed internship do not apply for the Graduate program as their assessment is usually entirely different outside the Shell graduate program. Note that I said assessed internship - there are 2 kinds, assessed internship and regular internship.

That's not true. There is no slot for recommendation from top Shell professionals as the recruitment is managed centrally in the HQ

No fixed amount. Typically it is anything between 6 to 10 graduates. It can definitely be more even up to 20 if there's a need

Oh definitely there's opportunities for environmentalist. I wasn't saying there isn't opportunity for environmentalist. Just that the opportunities are not as much vs traditional engineering

Shell employs Biochemists in the Technical business area of Innovation, Research and Development.
It is clearly stated.

In fact with the 2050 target for Zero carbon, they highly needed.

Additionally, any graduate can be trained for Downstream Commercial sector especially in Supply Chain and Logistics.

This is insider information I provided. Shell has different comp levels depending on the country and business area. It is not paid in USD but sort of benchmarked against it. The pay is in Naira
