I have done the test. At first I felt nervous but as time went, I felt better. Just be yourself. The questions were not bad. They were behavioural. I think it's just a preparation for the main interview so keep calm and don't panic. I am actually grateful for this experience. I didn't know I was a stammerer All the best guys!

I get what you mean, same person had gotten numerous invites for even the most selective workforce processes and surely understands ATS scanning too. Same person got the first email saying they've been shortlisted for possible consideration, only to get rejection mail much later. I have gotten numerous invites now from workforce and I think it has something to do with the ATS scanning or their details (dob, year of graduation etc). They don't have time to go through the thousands of applications they get individually. They probably just filter certain criteria/words and then scan. I've been admitted to the MDS programme at UBC. I have however not gotten any scholarship offer yet from MCFSP. I think I have to wait until the end of February.

But someone said their friend got invite despite graduating in 2015 october. I just take it as workforce being inconsistent

They certainly used graduation date. I graduated in 2015 (Mechanical Engineering). The programme is meant to be for recent graduates i guess.

Couldn't have been first come first serve, because this person applied the first day the recruitment came out. Oh trust me this person is a veteran in recruitment processes and applied to be a test candidate (to receive shortlisting notice) etc for their other friends who were in need of the job

Maybe they used first come first serve or used a computer algorithm to select a candidate. That algorithm makes use of cv and cover letter mostly and it searches for words related to the listed requirement. That's why it's is advisable that you structure your cv and cover letter to that particular requirement. About the 7 minute test, i think it's the same to other workforce test if you have ever done any workforce test you will know. All these are my personal thought and may not be fact.

Perhaps they used graduation date maybe, when did your friends graduate. Quite interesting seeing that they screened someone with 7A1s and 2 first class degrees in electrical engineering & 23 years old - surely it couldn't have been about profile, maybe graduation year. PS this person graduated december 2016 from bachelors

Okay. a friend electrical engineer (2 first class engineering degrees - Bachelor & Master's) under 26 years old and numerous As in WAEC - I wonder what the criteria was but I suspect electrical & civil were axed

Not every university requires IELTS, some will take WAEC at specific grades - so everyone should research the specific university that concerns them

Ietls? I doubt that as I got an offer and in it, I was directed to upload my WAEC result as a proof of my English proficiency together with an English test waiver form which I’m to upload and submit in my applicant portal

Check the previous year's scholarhsip thread. Shorlisting is expected to be late March or April
