Rewards For Performing Taraweeh During Ramadhan!

*
Sheik Fathima Abdul Kalam Assalamu Allaikum Brothers and Sisters in Islam,

I read this article. It was so wonderful. I am really sorry i was not able to have a proper reference of hadith for this. Masha Allah after going through these, i did not want to restrict myself in sharing with my Brothers and sisters just because there is no reference. As we all know that Allah (S.W.T)'s Mercy is overflowing, His Generosity and Kindness beyond our comprehension during this unique month as stated by our Noble Prophet Muhammad SallAllahu alaihi wasallam; let us perform taraweeh and make these as a dua.

As this Blessed Month slowly slips away, as surely as the moon’s face slowly changes before our eyes, the seconds for earning the Divine Bounties are so precious.

Rewards For Performing Taraweeh During Ramadhan

1ST NIGHT - Almighty Allah Ta’ala forgives all the sins of a Mu’min.

2nd NIGHT – Allah Ta’ala will forgive your parents if they died as Mu’min

3rd NIGHT - Below the Arsh-Allah’s throne an Angel is commanded to proclaim: "O, MU’MIN your deed was pure, Allah Ta’ala has forgiven your past sins"

4th NIGHT - You are awarded the thawaab of reading the Torah, Injeel, Zaboor and the Quraan Majid.

5th NIGHT - You get thawaab equal to that which you would gain if you read your salaat in the Sanctuary of the Ka’aba, Al-Madina Al-Munawwarah and Masjid Aqsa.

6th NIGHT - You gain the thawaab of the Tawaaf made by the 70,000 angels made at Baitul Mamoor in the seventh sky.

7th NIGHT - You receive the thawaab of those good people who helped Musa alaihis Salaam when he fought Fir’un and Haman.

8th NIGHT - The rewards for the 8th Taraweeh are equal to the thawaab awarded to Ibrahim alaihis Salaam

9th NIGHT - The rewards of this night are that one becomes the beloved of Allah Ta’ala, Allah loves that servant.

10th NIGHT - Allah proclaims for you all the best in the world, one is endowed with the goodly provisions of this world and the Hereafter.

11th NIGHT - The reward for this night is that when a Mu’min leaves this world, he does so with Iman.

12th NIGHT - On the Day of Resurrection you will appear with a face with so much Nur, lustre on it, as much as the shining full moon.

13th NIGHT - On the Day of Resurrection, you will be protected from evil and stand secure.

14th NIGHT - On the Day of Resurrection, the Angels will be witnesses for the Taraweeh you are performing. On this evidence Allah Ta’ala will grant your entry into Paradise without account.

15th NIGHT - All the Angels who carry the Throne and the Footstool pronounce benedictions for the servant performing Taraweeh on this night.

16th NIGHT - Allah Ta’ala gives instructions giving you immunity from Jahannam, and entitling you to enter Jannah.

17th NIGHT - Allah grants you the thawaab of the Anbiya Alaihumus Salaam

18th NIGHT - On this night an Angel announces that Allah is happy with you, and your parents.

19th NIGHT- The reward for this night is that Allah Ta’ala elevates your position in Jannah.

20th NIGHT- On this night Allah Ta’ala rewards you by granting to you the thawaab of the martyred and the pious.

21st NIGHT - On this night, Allah Ta’ala builds a pavilion of Nur for you in Paradise.

22nd NIGHT - You will arrive to the Resurrection ground duly freed from sorrow and distress.

23rd NIGHT - On this night Allah Ta’ala makes a garden ("shaher"wink for you in Jannah.

24th NIGHT - On this night Allah Ta’ala grants twenty-four duas, prayers.

25th NIGHT - Allah Ta’ala lifts his punishment from your grave.

26th NIGHT - Allah Ta’ala increases for you the thawaab of 40 years.

27th NIGHT - The rewards for this night of Taraweeh are that you will be able to cross the Pul-Siraat (bridge) like lightning.

28th NIGHT - Your position in Paradise is increased by one stage.

29th NIGHT - Allah Ta’ala grants the thawaab of 1,000 "makabul" (accepted) Hajj.

30th NIGHT - By performing this night of Taraweeh you would be one of the many persons who, on the Day of Resurrection will hear Allah Ta’ala say in Paradise, "Eat whichever fruit you like to eat, bathe with the water of Salsabil and drink from the Kawthar! I am thy Lord and you are my slave!

May we all be striving our utmost, increasing our efforts in all aspects of our Deen, and encouraging others to do so, thereby gaining our own thawaab as well as what we have encouraged.

All good is from Allah (S.W.T) whereas mistakes are from this humble speck. May Allah (S.W.T) Bless all readers, bringing you all closer to Him and our beloved Rasul SallAllahu alaihi wasallam. Ameen.

Please remember me and my family in your duas.

Islam for Muslims / Nairaland Ramadan Lecture (tafseer Louge ) by experts: 1:01pm On Aug 16, 2010
Assalamualaikum Waramatullahi Wabarakatu!

In the name of Allah the most beneficent and the most merciful, He who spare us all till today 6th day of Ramadan.

Praise be to him!

May the peace and blessing of Allay be with the prophet (Mohammed S.A.W),his house hold and his companion.

After praise,

I call on my fellow muslims to share there knowledge here on this topic relating to ramadan, ask question and may Allah bless us all,

I will be posting tafseer here on some sura and topics and i call on my brothers and sisters to do the sameand learn from it,

Lesson to note

1. Intention: Remind yourself again and again that you are fasting in obedience to Allah. Be sincere in your intention. You want Allah to accept your fasting. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Whosoever fasts in Ramadan with faith and seeking Allah’s reward, all his past sins are forgiven.” (Al-Bukhari, Hadith no. 37)

2. Sunnah: Observe the Sunnah in fasting. Take the suhur meal a little before dawn and end your fast at sunset. As much as you can, try to fast as much like the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) fasted. There was no prayer better than his prayer and no fast better than his fast. Try to follow his way of fasting. That is the most acceptable way of fasting to Allah.

3. Wara` (Avoiding everything haram or makruh): Keep your body and mind very clean. Fasting is not just avoiding food and drink. Fasting is to learn how to avoid bad words and bad deeds. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Whosoever does not leave bad words and bad actions, Allah does not care if he leaves his food and drink.” (Al-Tirmidhi 641)

4. Qur’an: Fasting and revelation are inter-connected. Prophet Musa fasted when he received the Torah. Prophet `Isa fasted when he received the Gospel. Prophet Muhammad fasted when he received the first message of the Qur’an. Let us do the same thing. You must fast and spend more time with the Qur’an. Read the Qur’an every day. Try to finish at least one time the whole Qur’an during this month by your own personal reading.

5. Prayer or Salah, Du`a' and Dhikr: Pray on time and observe all the prayers. Do not ignore the Tarawih or Ramadan night prayers. Make more extra and voluntary prayers. Do as much worship as you can. Do more dhikr (remembering Allah) and du`a' (supplication) for yourself and for others. Repent and seek forgiveness for yourself and for others as much as you can. This is the best time for devotion and seeking Allah’s forgiveness. Seek the Night of Qadr by special devotion during the last ten nights of this month.

6. Zakah, Sadaqah and Generosity: Ramadan generates the spirit of giving and sacrifice. When we deprive ourselves of food and drink we understand and realize well what it means to be hungry and thirsty. We realize the pain of those who cannot find the basic necessities of life. Be very charitable and generous. Give more to help the poor and needy. Contribute generously to useful social and community projects.

7. Family: Goodness must begin at home. Be very good to your family, immediate family and the extended family. Spend more time and quality time with your family members. Try to have suhur (pre-dawn meal) together. Break your fast together and pray together as much as you can. Do this more at this time. Ramadan should bring you closer to each other. Allah’s special mercy comes on the families that are united, harmonious and peaceful.

8. Good Conduct: Fasting should transform you and should make you a different person. Try to be extra kind and courteous during this month. Forget your quarrels and disputes. Reconcile and forgive. Do not get involved in backbiting, lying, cheating and anything that is wrong. Be very good to Muslims and to all human beings. Be good to your friends and neighbors. Let your non-Muslim neighbors and co-workers know that this is your blessed and sacred time.

9. Tafakkur (reflection): Think, reflect and plan to improve the moral and spiritual condition of your own self and your family. Think about any wrong things and sins you might be doing and decide to correct yourself. Think about any deficiencies you have in your Islamic observances. Plan to change yourself. Think what you can do for the Ummah and for humanity to make this world a better place for everyone. Think about the life after death and the Day of Judgment.

10. Be cheerful and happy: Ramadan is not a time of mourning or sadness. It is a time of thankfulness to Allah. In a Hadith it is reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, “When you fast, anoint yourself. Let not the signs of fast be seen on you.” (Al-Bukahri, Al-Adab al-Mufrad) Do not feel tired and miserable. Feel alert and relax. Take things easy. This time is for your own good. Give the greetings of Ramadan to each other and enjoy this beautiful time.
It is reported in a Hadith that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) gave a sermon about Ramadan to a gathering that met towards the end of Sha`ban. He said:
"O People, a great and a blessed month is approaching you. In this month, there is a night that is better than one thousand months. Allah has made fasting obligatory and prayers at night commendable during this month. Whosoever will do a voluntary good deed during this month, it is as if he performed an obligatory good deed at another time and whosoever will perform an obligatory good deed, it is as if he performed seventy obligatory good deeds at another time. This is the month of patience and the reward of patience is Paradise. This is the month of kindness. In this month the believer’s provision is increased. Whosoever will give food to a fasting person in this month, it will bring forgiveness for his sins, will save him from the hellfire and he shall have his reward while the fasting person will not lose any of his reward." (As-Suyuti, Ad-Durr al-Manthur)

ur very own Falconets,

In spite of the little attention paid to the team, you have done the impossible. You have conquered the giants. We bow!! We are SO proud of you; you have already brought glory back to us, redeemed our image and have shown what a great determined nation we are and what fantastic players you are. That out of the ashes of the just concluded World Cup in South Africa, we have risen again through the Falconets on that same world stage. Thank you! Thank you.

One more game, tomorrow, Sunday 1st August 2010 will be a historic day for the nation, a historic day for Nigerian football, historic day for you all. You shall be the very first African female team to win a FIFA World Cup. You have the skills, discipline, focus and tenacity to do this. 150 million Nigerians are behind you.

No matter what happens tomorrow, we remain proud of what you have already achieved in this tournament.

Take to the pitch the 3 B's - be bold, be brave, be brilliant. And also take us all in your hearts because we are all with you. Our prayers are with you.

GO AND TAKE YOUR CUP. We shall all be watching, urging you on, cheering loudly and praying throughout the entire match!!!

Good luck and Congratulations in advance!!!

Hey fellow brothers and sisters,

I have come to share with you the story of the perfect woman of mankind,

And as the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, "Many men reached the level of perfection, but no woman reached such a level except Maryam, the daughter of Imran and Asia, the wife of Pharaoh." (Hadith - Sahih Bukhari 4.643, Narrated Abu Musa Al Ashari )

Islam for Muslims / Lets Talk About Female Prophets In Islam by experts: 2:31pm On Jul 29, 2010
Assalamualaikum Waramatullahi Wabarakatu,

a prophet is an individual who has been contacted by, or has encountered, the supernatural or the divine, and serves as an intermediary with humanity, delivering this newfound knowledge from the supernatural entity to other humans.

According to the Qur'an, Allah has sent many prophets to mankind. However, a messenger entertains a 'rank' higher than a prophet, bringing a new Sharia to the people, while prophets reinforce old ones.

now this lead us to the conclussion that the defination and difference between prophet and messenger clear shows that we have female prophets,

According to the defination of a prophet: which says:

a prophet is an individual who has been contacted by, or has encountered, the supernatural or the divine, and serves as an intermediary with humanity, delivering this new found knowledge from the supernatural entity to other humans.

now, we have some women in islam that where prophets,

such as

1. Mariam The Mother of Isa ( Mary Mother of Jesus),

in suratul AL-imran

And (remember) when the angels said: "O Maryam (Mary)! Verily, Allah has chosen you, purified you (from polytheism and disbelief), and chosen you above the women of the 'Alamin (mankind and jinns) (of her lifetime)."

O Mary! "Submit yourself with obedience to your Lord (Allah, by worshipping none but Him Alone) and prostrate yourself, and Irka'i (bow down etc.) along with Ar-Raki'un (those who bow down etc.)."

she is the best women on heart (chosen above the women of mankind) this shows she is a prophet,
