I just found out i uploaded my supplementary documents in the "send additional information" column not through the supplementary request page though i have sent it through there now. My 1 week deadline for submission ended yday.
Hope the embassy wont victimise me for late submission?

Touchè
iceberg54:
I foresaw the recent spate of denials by migri when guys started writing them about the current naira situation. I was very surprised why some people thought this was necessary, they should have been left alone to their job. Migri won't deny you out-rightly based on incomplete funds, they will first write to inform you, so there was no need to panic.

They have a fixed value used for every application period and even if currency fluctuates, they know its not the fault of the applicant and they would normally not take drastic measures such as this.

But when they started getting numerous emails, of course they will act, which explains why they even had to revisit already decided cases. And its funny that a lot of people that sent those emails didn't even have sufficient funds in their account, then why call their attention to it.

The exchange rate last year was at least 300 (can't remember exactly), yet they didn't increase minimum requirement nor gave guys any wahala.

A similar thing happened years back. A couple of years ago, you could pick up a statement of account from under bridge ikeja and use it to apply and get permit. But some years ago, some guys here decided to do 'I too know' and went on a protest that Finnish employers were not giving them jobs to support themselves while studying. The Finnish authorities were stunned and thought "But you guys showed over 6k euros in your account naw, so why do we need to give you jobs to survive?". So they had to investigate and then discovered our "wuruwuru" way of arranging the bank statement thingy. That was when they started checking account with banks.

Anyways, I sincerely hope those with pending applications get a positive outcome especially considering that this is the last chance for tuition free education.

Wish everyone the best.

And lastly, people who are in a "better country" already should just forget about migri and move on. Life comes with ups and downs and thank God for the alternative provided. I know people who were denied twice and still applied the third year, did the right thing, and got in.

Cheers guys!

The documents you need are, 1)His account state/reference letter from the bank.
2)Sponsorship letter.
3)His Tax clearance form.
4)The Certificate of incorporation of his company from Corporate Affairs Commission.
I think with these 4, you are good to go. make surethat the account statement shows that he transferred money to your account.

Thanks bruv

Hi everyone, pls a quick one. I have two sponsors, my mom and my sis. My mom will be providing the total funds for my Rp from her fixed deposit acct, is it wise for me to transfer the funds first to my sis and she sends it to me afterwards. My reason is because my mom's fixed acct doesn't have a constant flow of cash while my sis has that.
Pls someone should advise asap. Thanks

Hi everyone, I'm an exchange student going to helsinki finland for a session, I want to know if these same embassy scrutiny applies to me as well and also what's the required €6720 in our naira acct. Is it N2,087,702.40 @N310.67/euros or the N1,600,000.00 I've been seeing? I'm a bit confused. Then if I'm using a sponsors acct who earns quarterly interest from a fixed deposit account of N5-6m will it be sufficient enough or should i get an additional sponsor. Pls someone should advise me, thanks

It is not normal at all. It means one of the required documents is still missing, payment not confirmed or invalid authentication; it can also be something else. But you are suppose to have received a mail from uniassist containing an attachment with numbers as the file name where they will explain the reason why the application is incomplete. Go back inside your mail and search thoroughly, it will surely be there. Shalom

Ok thanks, still expecting their e-mail

well, it obviously can't be done at the embassy today, until you book for next week if dere is any space available, but if your school also accepts public notary/court seal certified docs, then you can go to high court lagos and certify, it should be with a seal, or a seal and stamp, and send it via courier today. Confirm from your school website tho, if it's accepted

Thanks bruv!

I'm in lagos, i want to authenticate my documents and hopefully send them today. Please how do i go about this. I'd be grateful if someone can kindly help out. Thank you so much

Yea i am, i sent you a PM, dont know if I got it right.
Anyway i got a mail from them. I think i know how to go about it now.

Thanks for the tips, good luck to us![quote author=weirdarkhitekt post=45708890]
If you are applying for ConREM, PM me.
Either way, the exposition into the content and purpose of academic pursuit at masters level requires that you simply explain what is taught at masters level in comparison to bachelors level, how it is structured and why masters level education is needed by anyone or the society.
It looks simple but I've not gotten to the point of actually writing the two pages. But the requirements are in a pdf doc I downloaded from the school website a long time ago. If I can find it....
If you search well you can find it too.
Best of luck to us

I've been asked to write an independently formulated exposition on the content and purpose of academic assignments at master’s level at universities and polytechnics (to a length of at least two pages) as one of the requirements for HTW berlin.

Please i dont even know how to go about this, ive searched online for samples, clues or something helpful. Nothing yet. Please someone should help.

Ok. Well, naturally, professional or academic LOR is acceptable. Since they didn't specify, I think you will be ok.
Unless the school says otherwise, you have to certify and send your certificates to uniassist.
NB: You don't have to certify before uploading. Certify and send by post.
