Health / Re: 5G Network: Can It Cause Cancer or COVID-19? by Fariq: 12:26pm On Apr 05, 2020
You only talk on the physics aspect without the biological aspect which concerns life.

5G network operates at 60 Giga hertz which is oxygen absorption band. I.e 98 percentage of the energy at that frequency is absorbed by atmospheric oxygen.

This changes the optical properties of oxygen, which in turns makes it difficult to bind to haemoglobin when inhaled by a person.

In the human body, oxygen binds to haemoglobin in the red blood cells which then circulate to all tissues of the body.

Less binding capacity of oxygen to haemoglobin = less oxygen to the tissues of the body = shortness of breath and related complications.

5G is also linked to immunosuppression that weakens the body immune system. Having in mind that the body immune system is responsible for defense against foreign pathogens including coronavirus.

Politics / "Glover Hausas, Hausa Constabulary" - History Of The Nigerian Army by Fariq: 5:44pm On Apr 04, 2020
Our Story | Facebook

The history of the Nigerian Army dates to 1863, when Lt Glover of the Royal Navy selected 18 indigenes from the Northern part of the country and organized them into a local force, known as the "Glover Hausas".

The small force was used by Glover as governor of Lagos to mount punitive expedition in the Lagos hinterland and to protect British trade routes around Lagos. In 1865, the "Glover Hausa" became a regular force with the name "Hausa Constabulary".

It performed both police and military duties for the Lagos colonial government.

It later became "Lagos Constabulary". On incorporation into the West Africa Frontier Force (WAFF) in 1901, it became

"Lagos Battalion". In addition to this force, the British Government included the Royal Niger Company (RNC), Constabulary Force in Northern Nigeria in 1886 and the Oil Rivers irregular in

1891. In 1889, Lord Fredrick Lugard had formed the incipient body of what was tobe known in 1890, as the West Africa Frontier Force, (WAFF), in Jebba, Northern Nigeria.

The new unit expanded by absorbing the Northern Nigeria-based elements of the Royal Niger Company (RNC) Constabulary. By the end of 1901, it had incorporated all paramilitary units in the other British dependencies into its command, thus fully meriting its designation "WAFF".

The establishment of West Africa Frontier Force (WAFF) led to the merger of all units into regiment in each of the dependencies. The merger in Nigeria produced the Northern Nigerian Regiment and Southern Nigerian Regiment. The First commanders of the Southern Regiments of WAFF were Lt CHP Carter 18991901 and Col J Wilcox (1900-1909) respectively. The two regiments were later used for expeditions during the annexation of Nigeria by Lord Lugard between 1901 and 1903. With the amalgamation of Nigeria in 1914, the unification of the Northern and Southern Regiments came into being and this witnessed the birth of the Nigerian Regiments.

The Northern Nigerian Regiments became the 1st and 2nd Battalions of the Nigerian Regiment, while the Southern Nigeria Regiment became the 3rd and 4th Battalions of the Nigerian Regiments (NR).

The Mounted Infantry of the Northern Regiments became the ordinary Infantry Battalion after the Second World War. A field artillery also existed in the Northern Regiment. With the visit of Queen Elizabeth of Britain between 28 January and 15 February, 1956, the Nigerian regiment was renamed the Queens Own Nigerian Regiments (QONR).

Also in the same year, the regionalization of the WAFF came into existence and each WAFF came into existence and each military force became independent of the other. As a result, the QUEEN became the Nigerian Military Force (NMF). By 1st June, 1958, the British Army Council in London relinquished control of NMF to the Nigerian Government.

In 1960, when Nigeria became independent, the NMF became known as the Royal Nigerian Army (RNA). When Nigeria became a republic, the RNA changed to the Nigerian Army. In the same year, the Army changed its uniform, rank structure and instruments from those of RWAFF to new ones including green khaki uniform.

He is waiting for the government to beg him, so that they will have something to chestbeat.

They will even one day in the future claim that; "if not for Innoson, Nigeria would not have arrested the coronavirus outbreak".

No scientific evidence, research are still ongoing regarding the novel Coronavirus. Anybody that tells you that is simply assuming. There are 3 types of coronavirus and Covid 19 is the newest and that's why it's called novel.

1. Severe acute respiratory syndrome - SARs
2. Middle East respiratory syndrome - MERs
3. Novel coronavirus - Covid 19

Do you need me to spoon feed you all the information? Ganduje is quoted in 2019 saying there's over 2 million almajiris the state. Unless you see them repatriate over a million of almajiris that's clearly a lie. If you have common sense, know basic math and look up these stories this lie difficult to catch.

Or you should rather spoon feed yourself. He said some have voluntarily withdrawn their children from the street. And you heard Ganduje saying 2 million here, 3 million there and there's another place he says million. All these are assumptions. You believe him when he said a million but you don't believe him when he said majority are non indigine.

It's an obvious lie. There's almajiri populations there is in million. Then the article here doesn't mention how many of them were residents. That tiny 1500 number should be telling.

Again if they're from other countries why had the state not called NIS to deport them. The guy is just deflecting.

You're not making sense either. I have known you to disect things with fact but you have fall hand this time. 1.5k was arrested who told you that's all? Have you conducted census about what he says, that you're concluding it to be lie. In your own logic since he is lying, then the number of indigines are the majority. How are you different from him (Ganduje) that's says majority are non indigine.

The NIS should do their jobs. Deport all these illegal aliens. These northern condoned their presence then later complain they're committing crimes.

I'd like a break down on the numbers. Lol gandolla use to claim most of the almajari were from outside the state. These politicians tell dumb lies.

Is he lying? It says Katsina has the highest.

President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday expressed willingness of his administration to implement the decision of the tripartite committee, made up of Nigeria, Benin and Niger, on the partial closure of the country’s land border as soon as the report is received.

A Presidential spokesman, Garba Shehu quoted the President as saying so while speaking at an audience with Bashir Mamman Ifo, outgoing President of the ECOWAS Bank for Investment and Development, EBID, and his successor, Dr George Nana Donkor, in the State House.

President Buhari explained that the partial closure had given Nigeria a number of insights.

‘‘We have saved millions of dollars. We have realised that we don’t have to import rice. We have achieved food security.

‘‘We have curtailed the importation of drugs and proliferation of small arms which threaten our country,’’ the President said.

President Buhari thanked the outgoing ECOWAS Bank President for the improvements recorded in his eight-year tenure and urged his successor to build on those achievements.

The outgoing bank chief informed the President that the bank had been transformed from loss-making to profit, with commitments from ECOWAS member-states doubling to 1.4 billion dollars.

Mr Donkor, the incoming president, thanked the Nigerian leader and its people for their support in his emergence.

‘‘Without Nigeria, I could not have emerged,’’ he said.

He gave credit to President Buhari’s economic strategies captured under the Economic Recovery and Growth Plan, ERGP, noting that it has brought about economic recovery, stability and food security in the country.

He pledged total commitment to partnering with Nigeria towards achieving rapid development in the country and the rest of West Africa.
