Alterplate Music boss and lead artiste, Harrysong seems to be romancing telecoms giant, Glo.

Last night, Saturday, June 17, 2017, the musician made a suprise appearance on stage at the Glo Music Nationwide Tour in Lagos and performed an Acapella of his monster hit single, Samankwe with Timaya to a cheering crowed inside Ekot Hotel Convention Center.

Although neither Harrysong nor his Alterplate team are yet to make any official comment, there are indications that Glo may want to add the talented musician to their already lenghty list of entertainers, especially since his contract with MTN expired…more details soon.

A man was shot and killed in his car on Bowling Avenue in Sandton, South Africa on Tuesday afternoon., June 20.

The man‚ believed to be in his 40’s‚ sustained multiple gunshot wounds and had succumbed to his injuries by the time paramedics arrived on the scene around noon.


ER24 spokesperson Russel Meiring said the man was found slumped over the steering wheel of his Bentley.

“Paramedics assessed the man and found that he had sustained numerous gunshot wounds and showed no signs of life. Unfortunately‚ nothing could be done for the man and he was declared dead on the scene‚” Meiring said.

Meiring said apparently an unknown number of gunmen had opened fire on the driver and vehicle‚ causing him to crash into the pavement.

Paramedics on the scene said it seemed nothing had been stolen.

Meiring said the entire road was closed and that the luxury vehicle was riddled with bullet holes.
Part of the road was still blocked around 8pm on Tuesday evening.

A 77-year-old nun, dressed in her habit,has gone viral after she was filmed floating into a polling station on board a hoverboard.
The French Catholic woman went to cast her vote in the first round of the country's legislative elections,in the town of Baugé on Sunday.I
dentified as sister Fabienne from Les Filles du cœur de Marie, she was featured on the Christian Aleteia website.

The hoverboard belongs to sister Fabienne's friend father Aymeric de Salvert, who gave her a quick lesson.
When asked about her mode of transport, she said:

Mavin Records singer, Reekado Banks, has offered an apology to DJ Xclusive for his earlier tweet where he accused the DJ of being disrespectful.
Reekado had bashed Xclusive for dropping him off a song he was supposed to feature in without informing him.
He has now blamed miscommunication for the misunderstanding.

Some days back, DJ Xclusive released the audio and visual for his collaborative project ‘As e dey hot’ which features Mr Eazi and Flavour. It is believed that it is this song that Reekado Banks was left out of.

Officials of the Department of State Security, the police and the Ministry of Interior rushed to Wuse market at about 9 a.m. on Wednesday to rescue from a mob a boastful foreigner who had refused to obey normal security procedures.


According to eyewitnesses, the chubby visitor, who described himself as the "head of the Chinese business unit in the embassy" and who was traveling with another Chinese, resisted the order to open the boot of his Honda sedan car, which had diplomatic license plates, upon arrival at the gate of the market.

It is the normal practice, in view of the insecurity in the country, that all vehicles are opened up for inspection before they are allowed to proceed.

According to eye witnesses, the diplomat was very boastful, saying he would call the nation's security chiefs to lock up anyone who threatened him and his fellow Chinese national in the vehicle, but his brittle temper angered the growing mob which then insisted he must comply with the security procedure.

As tempers flared, the mob set out to drag the occupants out of their car, and it took the quick intervention of the Abuja Market Authority Management and Security officials to secure them from being lynched.

In the process, one of them had his shirt torn to pieces. He also claimed the sum of N100,000 was stolen from his car.

The diplomat, who is obviously well connected, bragged to the mob in the presence of a SaharaReporters contributor, and after he made some calls, apparently to top security chiefs, a retinue of security men promptly arrived at the scene. The management of the market was compelled to make available to the diplomat the sum of N100,00 and a new shirt before he stepped out of the car to write a statement, which he did at the police post inside the market.

It is not clear if the diplomat will press further charges, but he seemed to be a bit calmer when he drove out of the market, having demonstrated his connections, several security agencies appearing at the speed of light to rescue him.

One angry witness noted that he enjoyed the full service of the Nigerian state “showing little regard for laws or basic rules and regulations in the market.”
