1. GIVE UP THE SHORT TERM MINDSET.

Successful people set long-term goals and they know the fact that these long-term goals are merely the result of the short-term habits they do every single day. And what they realize is that, if they need to dream big, they need to cut it down into small parts and they have this done every single day.

On the other hand, very broke people and people who won’t become successful, they have a very short-term mindset. Everything they do is short term. For example, they believe in Get Rich Quick. They believe they want results as quickly as possible just like that. They believe that there is a magic bullet that will solve all their issues at once.
Well, on the other hand, successful people realize that it is a daily habit of the things you do every day and as it is done daily, there is a micro increment to those things. That is what makes the biggest difference in the long term.

2. GIVE UP ON PLAYING SMALL

If you never try and actually grab the opportunities that are in front of you, if you never go out there on your own, put yourself out there, speak your own truth and do what you boldly want to do, not what your parent and friends say, not what your next door neighbour say but what you say. The moment you take full ownership of the ship you are sailing and become the captain and not the victim, that’s when your life truly changes.
My friend, give up on playing small, dream freaking BIG, play it big, treat your life like an Olympian, push yourself. There are going to be days you will be feeling down, of course, everybody has such day in some point in their lives but the ones who actually persevere, the ones who actually get up and run to the finish line, they are the ones who are going to win.

3. GIVE UP EXCUSES

Now, this is what really separates the losers from the winners. The winner always come up with the reasons why they can do it but the loser always come up with excuses why they can’t. They always tell themselves ahh here is my story, you know what causes it, it because of this because of that, I have no money, no time bla bla bla.

It does not matter what you might go through, give up on excuses. If you haven’t gotten the money find the money, there are investments all around you. Example, let me ask you this, if I was to ask you to give me N100,000 and I will give you a million naira, will you be able to find a hundred thousand naira if you know that the million naira is guaranteed? Of course, you will, because everyone around you is looking for investment opportunities. If you are lacking money, get creative, find the money, you never lack resources but you only lacking the resourcefulness. If you truly want to become successful become resourceful and give up on your excuses.

4. GIVE UP YOUR NEED TO BE LIKED

This is an important one. If you really trying to be liked and you are trying to please everybody then you will never going to be successful period. If you look at every great leader on this planet, they are willing to stand up for their own truth not their neighbour’s truth, not their friends' truth, but their own truth, not what their parent say but what they want to say.

This is the importance of really giving up your need to be liked and what you find out is that the people who liked you for their selfish purposes will begin to hate you but the people that really like you without selfish interest are going to begin to love you. Look at all the great leaders that you follow online and the ones you admire, they are all willing to speak their own truth. They have given up their need to be liked and they are just living their life. They are just amplifying what they believe in. My friend, you need to do that also.


5. GIVE UP TOXIC PEOPLE

Spend time with people who are born winners. Spend time with people who can’t put up with anything that is average and guess what, you will become the same. If you hang around toxic people. If you hang around losers, you’re going to become a loser. If you hang around winners, the ones who are serious about making a big impact on this planet, you going to become a winner as well. So what you got to realize is this, there is a popular saying that “you are the average of the five people you time with”.

Take a look around you now who are within your social circle? If right now people within your social circle ain’t living your dream life, don’t expect to reach your dream life. Hang around people who are beyond yourself. How do you do that? You can join success groups, go to networking parties you will get meet like-minded people and you can go to events as well. You can meet very successful people everywhere but the easiest way is to reach out to a mentor and get through to their networks and once you get a mentor, they can introduce you to people and it becomes easier but just do whatever it takes. Give up toxic people, replace them with people who are born winners, people who are fed up with average people that they won’t tolerate your average behaviour if you want to hang around them and you will find that sooner or later you will become more successful than you ever thought.

Be free to disclose to your audience what you stand to gain when they buy your recommended products.
