But this one is an open recruitment and everybody knows the exam/ recruitment was cancelled. So what basis would they be offering the APL? How were they selected if it happens? Unless they will call it replacement too...

So some for us are actually thinking that NIS can issue APL without exam or interview.... Think harder!

Which one would then be worst? The kind of criticism and negative public opinion they will get, it would be better for them not to have cancelled the first exam at first...

This NIS thing, I don't really know how they will do it, but I'm sure they won't just call people and offer appointment letters unless they will claim that they are among the families of the dead applicants and then the injured. We should just keep praying, I just pray we hear from them at all again.

Those saying the President will want to make sure it happens because of election, hmmmm, the President has won already, NIS or no NIS. Let's just pray God touches him to look into it. Amen!

Calyb: There will never be a recruitment into the ministry of interior this year, mark my work. If at all there will shortlist names, it will be from the previous applicant list who paid hard earned £1000.00. We all know that training now is 3 month, so if the list is not out between now till second week of october, then forget it this year. We thank God for PGEJ endorsement, he adopt the endorsement. I think that is what he is waiting for to start the massive employment in paramillitary, MDAs.

The funny thing is that the four agencies mentioned are currently recruiting. I may believe the news on the FMC jobs because he is one of the top men in the state and FMCs have a policy of recruiting 90:10 ratio, 90% for indigenes and 10% for non-indgenes. But that of SSS, MFA and NIS, these are hard to believe, its mere politiking and propaganda. Why didn't they list the names as they did the FMC 'successfuls'

The term "sponsor" in this context refers to your referee who in most cases they'd prefer to either be a serving or retired personnel who the Service could be hold accountable if his candidate is of questionable character.

But who knows if its possible for training to be this year. Those in 2012 went for training Nov but they did their exams June nd interview, August. We that did the exam August, how would it be?

@Scoffield, it wasn't an insult but advice. I hv sat for govt jobs nd came out highest in one, others, I was among d highest but didn't hear anything from them. Am not saying yours would be thesame as mine, our destinies are totally different. But in FG government jobs, one need to pray hard. Don't doubt the guy that said something is going on, it may or may not be true.
