After a few minutes of Davido’s announcement of the new signing of Peruzzi to his label imprint to DMW, the artiste who seems to be under a management before his signing to DMW had also posted the news on his Instagram page and thanking Davido, his former label and manager for the great achievement, but unfortunately something looks fishy as his former manager Patrick King didn’t waste much to slam the artiste and his new deal with DMW.

Could this be that Davido didn’t take the appropriate steps before signing the new act?

Following viral report that Nigerian music star, Wizkid became the first African to sell out a show at the Royal Albert Hall in London, in an electrifying night with thousands of fans and fellow Nigerian artists Skepta and Tinie Tempah in attendance, it appears, however, that this information, may not have been completely true even though Royal Albert Hall sent out a tweet, sharing the historic news.



On Sunday, Twitter user, Mr. Aye Dee, pointed out that Wizkid is not actually the first African, or Nigerian artist for that matter, to sell out the famous hall, perhaps just the first since many of his younger fans can remember. According to him, Sade sold-out the auditorium back in 1993.

The new Lagos Commissioner of police, Imohimi Edgar has reportedly invited singer Davido and actress Caroline Danjuma for questioning last night over Tagbo’s death, LIB reports.

It was gathered that during the closed door meeting, Davido was able to provide CCTV footage from Shisha Room (The lounge in Lekki where they both partied earlier in the night) to prove that he left the club a long time before Tagbo and the deceased wasn’t in his car as claimed by Caroline.



According to LIB, Caroline declined to speak further on Tabgo’s death, saying its now a family issue and she won’t be making any more comments with Tagbo’s family signing off on it.

In her words,

Nollywood actor and Producer of popular comedy series, Pintolo, Friday Ugwu a.k.a Okaka De Don, is dead. The actor also known as DJ Kross died last night in a ghastly motor accident along Lagos – Badagry Express road in Ojo. Okaka and his friend died on the spot, after a trailer lost control and crushed them.

Confirming the incident, an official of Actors Guild of Nigeria, Benue State chapter, Gideon Ameh said corpse of Ugwu, a native of Orokam in Ogbadibo LGA of Benue State who got famous after producing and playing the lead role in the movie ‘Okaka De Don’, has been deposited in a mortuary in Lagos.
