With 46% you shld enjoy it without freezing. Good thing is it doesn't disappear at night like the former one at 20 W.

I don't understand this 'track without dielectric plate' I have been hearing. Please not every lnbf is built to work without plate. If you dare to track Sports24 with Strong or SuperMax lnbf without dielectric Plate you will be sorry.

I tracked with same supermax you are using without dielectric and am happy for it!!

@ Chinedu, its all about the way you position and skew the lnb. From my experience, my NTA on v was 81% while that of H was 84% so I concentrated on getting the best signal level on H, then blind scanned to get Sp 24.

Concentrate on the H. Skew your lnb to 10o clock!! You are almost close. Blind scan without your dielectric and report back.

I tracked without dielectric. Same tp you know 04090H20668. Hi discovered my NTA had signal advantage on H more than V. My sp24 is BTW 47-48%

Try it without your dielectric and see. Also try adjusting your lnb skew between 8 & 10 o clock. But then at 86% of NTA, its supposed to pop out via blind scan. Mine is 84% and it popped out!

No chinedu7, I was referring to the C-band he probably bought in Jos.
Below is the one I also bought in Jos.
It's different from the one you posted.
It was hyped with "made in California, USA"

No I bought exactly the one pictured by Chinedu and its working very well!

Got my Sp 24 up and running. @Chinedu7, your tip was helpful though I got the highest % with the lnb in @ 40 mark, skewed @10 o clock! I managed to increase signal on NTA to 84% and AFN to 64%, blind scan just pop out sp 24 one hand.
@life707, the blue carton supermax (long throat) still did the trick. It was even raining when I tracked it! Perhaps the other supermax (short throat) in brown carton is the one you are referring to.

Note that I tracked without dielectric plate!!

You are close, now you need to drop your lnbf so deep to 32 or 34 mark. It's unconventional, strange but it will give you extra 6%. Good luck.

Learning they say is a continuous process, I was trying to increase my signal level on Sp 24 @ 20w and in the process my glass dielectric fell off. Then the signal jumped from 48% to 60%!
Up till now my dielectric is off and the signal level is still at the peak ever. Try yours and report. My dish size is 1.8m in north central Nigeria.

You were deceived! This is not even close to a cross breed of bullmastiff!!
