Politics / Two Atiku Moles Caught In Apc Presidential Campaign Council by Frankonuche: 11:20pm On Feb 21, 2019
Two suspected PDP moles have been caught at the Presidential Campaign Office Central Area, Abuja.

The suspects were apprehended on the 20th February, 2019 and interrogations identified them as Victor Omieza and Dosunmu Oluwatosin David.

It was discovered that they were from the People's Democratic Party and investigation revealed that these men came into the campaign premises to spy and get as much information as they could on the activities of the All progressives Congress under the disguise of being journalists by attending press briefings at the conference hall of the campaign office with some of the party’s directors.

Further investigations revealed that Mr Victor had called Rt Hon Yakubu while Mr Dosunmu also called Alhaji Atiku Abubakar to feed them about the activities at the campaign council.

As at the time of this report, the situation is  under investigation and the suspects will be prosecuted if found guilty.

The suspects later signed an undertaking that any time their attention is needed for further investigations, they will be readily available to comply with any invitation received.

“This situation shows the desperation of the opposition party and their strange appetite for all election wrongdoings.” A staff at the APC Presidential Campaign Council said.

Politics / BMO To Atiku: President Buhari Will Win By A Landslide by Frankonuche: 6:21pm On Feb 21, 2019
President Muhammadu Buhari would win the February 23 Presidential election with a landslide, according to the Buhari Media Organisation (BMO)
This it said is based on projections and field surveys on the campaign activities of the President and the governing All Progressives Congress (APC)
BMO said in a statement signed by its Chairman Niyi Akinsiju and Secretary Cassidy Madueke that there are indications that the deliberate effort by President Buhari and his deputy Yemi Osinbajo to bond with the Nigerian people through the ruling party’s multi-level campaign has worked.
“For the first time since 1999 a governing party reached out to real voters through a multi-level campaign that is unknown in this part of the world
“Quite a number of Nigerians including the opposition were stunned to see the President himself leading a full blown campaign to all 36 states and the federal capital territory at the rate of two states a day.
“At the same time Vice President Yemi Osinbajo embarked on a nationwide door-to-door campaign including family chats to personally reel out the achievements of the administration in a convivial environment.
“The third level of the campaign is the Women and Youth one spearheaded by the wife of the President Aisha Buhari which was done on a zonal basis.
“Compare this with a stuttering opposition campaign that could not take Atiku Abubakar beyond 19 states before the Presidential election was postponed to February 23”, it said
The pro- Buhari group noted that the organic crowd at those rallies and the reception the APC team got are strong indicators that the President would do better than he did in virtually all the geo-political zones.
BMO said: “The crowd at the rallies showed that Nigerians are ready to hedge their bet on a President that has literally turned the country into a giant construction site than an opposition candidate which the international media has branded an “established thief and a kleptocrat.”
“It was also clear that the PDP candidate did not enjoy enough support of many of his party’s governors who were reluctant to join him on the campaign trail or campaign on his behalf at the grassroots
“From all indications, the opposition was relying on subterfuge and manipulation of the process but we at BMO are convinced that all those efforts including those that were manifest after the postponement would be resisted by Nigerians”
Politics / Propaganda, Lies Against Buhari Absurd – Osinbajo by Frankonuche: 11:50am On Feb 21, 2019
Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has described as absurd, the lies, propaganda and accusations against President Muhammadu Buhari.

Osinbajo said on Wednesday night while responding to questions at an Interactive Session and Engagement held at Muson Centre, Lagos on Wednesday night.

The interactive session tagged: “Unveiling The Truth”, organised by young Christian group, had some Christian leaders in attendance.

Participants used the occasion to ask plenty of questions bothering on insecurity, economy, blaming of past administrations, social welfare for the unemployed, corruption, and timing of TraderMoni.

Other questions bothered on Next Level slogan, farmer/herders crisis, lopsided federal appointments, Islamisation, Buhari’s commitment to address critical issues in the country among others.

Responding, Osinbajo said that President Buhari was committed to addressing the problems facing the country such as security, economic and fixing critical infrastructure and fair treatment of all sections.

He said Buhari was addressing farmer/herders crises and had no intention at all to Islamise the country.

“President Muhammadu is possibly one of the most committed people I have ever met. He is committed to seeing that resources of this country are used for this country.

“In general term, we find that there is fairness in the distribution of appointments. Many of the accusations against Buhari are not true.

“Sometimes, people listen to propaganda and if we look at the facts, things are totally different. On Islamisation, first of all, it is untrue, it is propaganda.

“Anybody who complains that President Buhari is propagating islamic agenda, how is that possible?

“A lot of these are just propaganda, never listen to these. Many of these are absurd, they are deliberate propaganda. They come from the same source. Don’t believe them. Let’s be fair,” Osinbajo said.

The vice president, who urged Nigerians not to fear or doubt the good intention of the President, advised Nigerians to stop spreading rumours about things that never happened.

Osinbajo noted that the major cause of farmer/herder crisis remained pasture and water which the government had made concerted efforts to address.

On the lopsided federal appointments, Osinbajo said that the Southeast with five states had five had five ministers more than some regions with higher number of states.

On TraderMoni, he said that the national assembly approved the money for it and that it was meant to lift many Nigerians out of poverty.

On the timing of implementation, Osinbajo said that the government Social Investment Programme kicked off after the budgetary allocation was passed by the National Assembly.

According to him, the party never promised N5,000 monthly stipends for the unemployed but for the vulnerable which is ongoing.

He said the government had engaged so many youths in its N-Power programme and had to increase the number to 1.5 million young Nigerian in the Next Level out of 1.7 million people churn out of tertiary institutions every year.

On the standard of tertiary education, Osinbajo said that the major issue affecting education was not so much with the curriculum, advocating private sector thinking, ideas to enhance public education.

He added that the government would continue to create enabling environment and provide funding.

On criminality, the vice president said that the way forward was local policing and intelligence as well as immediate arrest and prosecution of criminals in the country.

On security, he said that the country had made significant progress and moved forward from what the situation was before the 2015 general elections.

The vice president said that the APC Next Level slogan centred on job creation, power, making credit more available to entrepreneurs, agriculture, infrastructure and others.

The vice president urged Christian leaders to jettison thinking about any Islamic agenda and Islamisation, saying many Christians were in the cabinet of President Buhari.

He said that the media should desist from spreading rumours, decrying fake news about Buhari being another person from Sudan.

Addressing the question accusation that the present administration often blamed previous administration, Osinbajo said that the country could not move forward without considering the past.

According to him, corruption remains the bane of national growth and development, saying that most of the woes confronting people are caused by wastefulness of past governments.

The highlight of the interaction were high praise led by choir and power-packed prayer for the country and general elections led by Bishop Wale Oke.

The participants prayed for God’s mercies on the country and God’s protection on the vice president especially from the recent air crash.
Politics / The Osinbajo That I Know By Ebun-olu Adegboruwa, Esq by Frankonuche: 11:41am On Feb 21, 2019
This is not a campaign effort, but rather a personal testimony of my own personal experience, of what I know, about Professor (Pastor) Yemi Osinbajo, SAN, GCON, Vice-President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, hereinafter referred to as Pastor Prof.

Very amiable person, unusually humble, intelligent and God-fearing, a people’s man. I’d observed him more closely, after his appointment as the Attorney-General of Lagos State, given the bold policy reforms that he was pioneering, within the Lagos Judiciary, focusing more on accountability, transparency and good governance. I also knew him as head of a transparency initiative, committed to abolishing all forms of corrupt practices and abuses, in the public service.

During his tenure as Attorney-General of Lagos State, he facilitated electronic recording in the courts, spearheaded the radical amendment of the Administration of Criminal Justice Law, which has since been copied in most other states and indeed by the federal government, through an expanded ACJA. He created new judicial divisions for the courts and revolutionised the welfare packages of judges, magistrates and judicial staff. I can go on and on, but that is not all about the Osinbajo that I know.

He is a thorough bred intellectual, with profound knowledge of the Nigerian Law of Evidence, running a very successful legal practice, in Lagos. In no time, he was promoted a professor of law and was also elevated to the Inner Bar, as a Senior Advocate of Nigeria.

The real Osinbajo that I know is Pastor Prof, a thorough bred Christian of the old breed, committed to the work of social engineering and human transformation, through faith based projects. At the time, he was an Area Pastor of Jesus House, Ikoyi, which had become more like a haven for the transformation of the down trodden of the land. His wife, the ever youthful Mummy Dolapo, was always busy running an orphanage in the building next to the church, where teenage girls who have been abandoned and abused, were daily being impacted, transformed and rehabilitated. Jesus House had also become a place of transformation for prominent citizens in government, at the time. It was like a small family church. Believe me, Pastor Prof is a grassroots man, always so easily blending with the crowd.

Pastor Prof took the job of the Servant of the Lord, opted to be just the protocol officer of Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of RCCG, and was always on ground as one of the comperes at major programmes in RCCG camp. He was so transparent and clean that at the time of his glorious exit from the service of Lagos State, the Governor had to convene a special executive council meeting, to deliberate on the kind of gift suitable for a man without any record of blemish. It was then decided that a plot of land be procured for him in a private estate in the Lekki area.

Pastor Prof is a consummate prayer warrior, always fasting and on his knees, most times. All the times that I met him in his modest apartment in the Redemption Camp at the time, he was always upstairs, praying, and I had to keep going and coming, for hours, in order to be able to catch up with him, on most occasions. Then I used to wonder in my mind, what else is this man praying for? But now I know much better.

Pastor Prof is a gentlemen to the core, so very natural and simple, with no taste for allurement and the mundane. Very sincere and open-minded. In his very modern chambers in Victoria Island, I had cause to work with him on some cases, and he is so very tolerant, even to a fault. On a particular day when he was to have his lunch, he called me inside his office, to join him. And I looked at the food, boiled potatoes and smoked fish! I was just thinking aloud in my mind, wondering if Prof knew that I could just empty the whole bunch in my system all at once! It was then I got to know that Prof thrives on fasting and prayers. Just that.

And eventually Pastor Prof was appointed a provincial pastor of RCCG, in high brow Banana Island, but Prof just remained Prof, nothing moving him, nothing changing him. Prior to that time, I had occasion to invite him as guest speaker, in the church where I pastored in Alagomeji area and later on in Lekki Phase 1. He was always dutiful, very humble and always so cheerful and full of jokes. And once he gets to like you, you just become more like his family. So on a particular day on one of those visits, I invited him on a tour of my area. Prof just jumped in and we drove off! I was shocked. Just like that? When he narrated to us in the church the amazing story of how Mr Babatunde Fashola, SAN became Governor, we were thoroughly amazed. Prof is so very clinical in his presentations, both in court and on the pulpit.

He is fulfilled in virtually all areas of his endeavour. The dream of every academician is to become a professor, the highest position in any ministry is the Commissioner, the highest rank in the RCCG is that of a pastor and the highest office in Nigeria is that of the President, for which he served most creditably well, in acting capacity, on a few occasions. And of course the best an individual can be is to have a real relationship with Christ. And this is the Prof that I know; a child of God with incredible love and devotion to the kingdom assignment. Surprisingly, Prof does not believe in kingdom business as excise for non-performance, always stressing the need to balance the equities, in the interest of all.

Eventually Prof was nominated and elected Vice-President and I didn’t get to see much of him again save from a distance. It then happened that legal officers of RCCG were having a conference at the Redemption Camp and Prof was our guest speaker. I was trying to avoid him in a way, not sure of the protocol and security around him. Prof just strolled in and stayed in our midst, bantering away and throwing his usual jokes. And it was time for photographs after the seminar. As I was approaching, Prof just exclaimed and threw me a hi five, making himself available for a selfie! I was just wondering in my mind that this Prof just won’t change! So down to earth and humble!

However, since his sojourn in office, there’s been all manner of talks here and there, mostly political jabs and I will just be wondering in my mind if it’s the same Pastor Prof that people write and talk about. Most often times I’ll just call my wife and urge prayers for Prof, knowing how uneasy it can be, for the head that wears the crown.

Do I talk about his incredible energy and power for performance? May be another day, just may be.
Politics / Ignore Pdp’s Fake News, Osinbajo Will Never Resign – Group by Frankonuche: 11:03am On Feb 21, 2019
A political group has urged Nigerians to ignore the fake news that Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has resigned from his position.

The Initiative to Save Democracy (ISD) described the unscrupulous rumour as the desperation of the Peoples Democratic Party to stir unnecessary controversy in the South West of Nigeria.

President of ISD, Sunday James Akinloye, urged Nigerians especially Yorubas to shun all fake news emanating from the PDP. “This is completely laughable. How can some people concoct a story that is entirely false, sending thousands of Nigerians into frenzy over nothing?

“This shows that the PDP is desperate and they will stop at nothing to lay their hands on Nigeria’s treasury but their plans will not work, in fact, it is dead on arrival.

Akinloye stressed that Nigerians must be wary of any story from PDP because they are the masters of fake news. “They claimed in 2015 that President Muhammadu Buhari was going to Islamize Nigeria once he is voted in but we found that that is a lie.

“They claimed he was Jubril from Sudan and they even claimed that he could not stand or campaign for himself but the man has proven them wrong over and over again.

“The PDP is a destructive party and nothing good can come out of them. The foundation of PDP is faulty and the only thing they know is propaganda and lies even to the detriment of the lives of many Nigerians.

Akinloye urged Nigerians to ensure that the PDP is permanently shut out from Nigeria’s treasury for the progress and good of the country.

“They have said it, they want to enrich themselves and their friends, and they do not care about the common man on the street.

“They say they want to come and share the money, we must not allow that to happen. We must be steadfast in the slow and steady path we have embarked upon.

Quoting the Bible, Akinloye said Nigerians must understand that what we sow, is what we will reap. “If we sow Atiku and his corruption, then we will reap hardship from this evil seed. We must be careful what we wish for.

He urged Nigerians to disregard the UK, US and EU, stressing that they are only after their selfish interests. “Before President Buhari came on board all our looted monies were stashed in banks in the UK, US and EU.

“Since President Buhari was elected not only have we stopped laundering our monies to these countries, we are demanding that they return the money with them.

“They are not happy that Nigeria is on the path to prosperity, they want us to perpetually be under them asking for grants and loans.

He urged all Nigerians to vote overwhelming for the APC because that is the only party that can assure us of progress. “Our forefathers say that a good name is better than silver and gold. We must always remember this, always,” he said.

Politics / Atiku's Economic Plan Will Make Nigerians Poorer And In Penury. by Frankonuche: 10:34am On Feb 20, 2019
He plans to sell NNPC to his friends this would immediately lead to increase in pump price to at least N350.

Atiku also intends to sell Nigeria's Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN).

The natural consequence of this is that there would be a spike in price of power which would take on the little resources Nigerians have.

Say NO to Atiku and his fraudulent plan to impoverish Nigerians.

It’s fake news that PDP is pushing out because they want to discourage people.
Osinbajo’s efforts to alleviate poverty at the grassroots will not be in vain and PDP will not succeed with the way they’re going.
We’re moving to the Next Level

Politics / Reports: Pdp To Withdraw From February 23rd Presidential Election by Frankonuche: 8:39pm On Feb 17, 2019
Reports have emerged that the People’s Democratic Party would be withdrawing from the February 23rd Presidential Election in protest to what it called a “scripted victory of the APC” that it could not challenge.

The leaked memo which was shared at a meeting of caucus leadership members advised the Party Leadership to announce its withdrawal and save expenses to be channeled to State elections.
Politics / Statement By President Buhari On The Postponement Of General Elections By Inec by Frankonuche: 11:43am On Feb 16, 2019
STATE HOUSE PRESS RELEASE

I am deeply disappointed that despite the long notice given and our preparations both locally and internationally, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) postponed the Presidential and National Assembly elections within hours of its commencement.

Many Nigerians have traveled to various locations to exercise their right to vote, and international observers are gathered.

INEC themselves have given assurances, day after day and almost hour after hour that they are in complete readiness for the elections. We and all our citizens believed them.

This administration has ensured that we do not interfere in any way with the work of INEC except to ensure that all funds were released to the commission.

We now urge INEC to ensure not only that materials already distributed are safe and do not get into wrong hands, but that everything is done to avoid the lapses that resulted in this unfortunate postponement, and ensure a free and fair election on the rescheduled dates.

While I reaffirm my strong commitment to the independence, neutrality of the electoral umpire and the sanctity of the electoral process and ballot, I urge all political stakeholders and Nigerians to continue to rally round INEC at this trying national moment in our democratic journey.

I, therefore, appeal to all Nigerians to refrain from all civil disorder and remain peaceful, patriotic and united to ensure that no force or conspiracy derail our democratic development.

I have decided to move back to Abuja to ensure that the 14.00 hrs meeting called by INEC with all stakeholders is successful.

Politics / Inec Refusing Accreditation To Apc Agents In Zamfara State by Frankonuche: 7:03pm On Feb 15, 2019
The Independent National Electoral Commission in Zamfara State is refusing to accredit agents of the All Progressives Congress (APC). Feelers from the State headquarters of INEC indicate that APC agents are being refused accreditation to represent the party at polling units on account of the party not having a gubernatorial candidate in the State.

An on-ground election monitor notes that the refusal by INEC to accredit APC agents is a curious and unjust decision, especially in consideration of the fact that gubernatorial election will not hold until March 2, 2019. Tomorrow, February 16 elections are for the office of the President and members of the National Assembly.

“APC should engage the INEC at the highest possible level, the presidential election is not the same as the gubernatorial election so why would the agents be denied accreditation” the Election Monitor observed.
Politics / Breaking: Apc Agents Denied Tags In North Eastern States by Frankonuche: 6:28pm On Feb 15, 2019
There are unconfirmed reports that some APC Agents in the North Central states are being denied access to their tags.

Meanwhile, there are speculations that this is deliberately done to prevent the agents from proper monitoring of the polls in order to favor the opposition PDP.

Calls that are being put through to the INEC Officials in the zone proved abortive.
Politics / Breaking News Apc Next Level Beware by Frankonuche: 7:38am On Feb 14, 2019
Please kindly treat this information with urgency.

I just got a sensitive secret information this morning during the time the PDP came for campaign in my community today.

All PDP members were directed to get to the voting center latest by 7:00 am and be on the queue that a specific PDP agent will be on the line and will be the last person to vote after which the agent will signal to the INEC officials and with the cooperation of the security, voting will be stopped and other party members will not be able to cast their votes.

They even promised that PDP members will be settled financially first at a specific spot and they will ALL move at the same time to the voting venue.

They did it successfully during the governorship election after the INEC officially discovered that the remaining voters on the queue are APC

Please ,sensitise ALL APC members to get to the polling center by 7:00am The God of heaven will arise in his power and mercy and cancel every of their plans in the name of God Almighty

God has given us victory, but we must strategise.
Politics / How Buhari Saved Over N83 Billion Through Hajj Reforms by Frankonuche: 6:59pm On Feb 13, 2019
By Zee Agunbiade
If anyone tells you that President Muhammadu Buhari is planning to Islamise Nigeria, just show this to them and walk away. This is enough education for those that want to learn.

The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has said decisions taken by President Muhammadu Buhari and the reforms introduced by the commission has saved Nigeria pilgrims over N83 billion during Hajj operations in 2017.

• The practice in the past was for presidents to give concessionary exchange rates for pilgrims going to Hajj. For instance, while the official exchange rate of $1 to the naira was N190 in 2016, President Goodluck Jonathan had earlier granted a concession which reduced the exchange rate to N160 for $1, the government therefore, subsidized each dollar with N30.

• Buhari abolished the practice and also granted NAHCON approval to fix a flat BTA for all pilgrims. “Because of the concession, and because there were three types of Hajj seats at then, which were minimum, medium and maximum, often differentiated by BTA, one person will pay for say 200 persons and then connive with a financial institution to collect the subsidised BTA and then give the pilgrims pittance. It therefore, became an illegal business venture for some people,” - Fatima Usara, Head of Public Affairs at NAHCON

• The management of NAHCON led by Abdullahi Mohammed came into office in 2015 and one of the first decisions he took after meeting with the NAHCON chairman was to abolish the practice of federal government’s sponsorship of a delegation to hajj annually.

• The decision alone saved the government N1.6 billion annually. Also, NAHCON in 2017 decided to abolish the use of middle men in securing accommodation for Nigerian pilgrims in Saudi Arabia. Instead, the commission deals directly with home owners which saved the country over $14 million.

• NAHCON said another reform introduced in 2017 regarding Hadaya (sacrificial animal) has saved pilgrims N1.6 billion. The reform sees the introduction of Jaiz Bank to work in conjunction with Islamic Development Bank to collect monies meant for the purchase of sacrificial animals from the pilgrims and issue them coupons.

• If not for the new scheme Nigerian pilgrims “would have been defrauded of N1.6 billion.” NAHCON in 2016 refunded N1.5 billion to pilgrims for services poorly rendered to them, adding “due to improved services in 2017” the figure refunded to pilgrims came down to N527 million.

• As the commission continues preparation for Hajj 2019 it is already fully utilising the Hajj development levy collected by upgrading Hajj departure centres in some states across the country. The commission intends to kick start the Hajj saving scheme introduced earlier in 2018, while a Hajj training institute meant to train Hajj managers, intending pilgrims and the general public.

• NAHCON is heading towards self-funding to reduce the burden on government.

Politics / Re: Osinbajo, An Enemy Of Yoruba People by Frankonuche: 11:07am On Feb 13, 2019
BOSF PRESS RELEASE

The leadership of Buhari Osinbajo Solidarity Front came across a publication on Vanguard Newspaper. In the publication, there was a very wrong and incorrect incitement on the person of our principal, the vice president, Professor Yemi Osinbajo.

The publication was engineered by a factional and disgraceful so called sets of Afenifere Group led by Pa Reuben Fasoranti.

It was mainly published to discredit the hard-earned image, reputation, personality and integrity of the vice president - as who he is, been a typical, qualified and proud member of Yoruba race with high standard.

Pa Reuben Fasoranti and his co travellers gave false account and gross misrepresentation on the person of the vice president as "an enemy of Yoruba people by not championing the region's interest in the All Progressive Congress led government".

This assertion is copiously incorrect and borne out of mind full of greed, and unfriendly with good reforms.

BOSF want to firstly advise Nigerians, especially the Yoruba people to be careful and very cautious of who they listen to and identify as their voice. It is not hyperbolic that people like Pa Reuben Fasoranti and his misinformed apologists are working against the genuine and truest interest of the Yoruba race, when ordinarily their voice do not stand for the Yorubas.

It is gravely risky for the Yorubas to watch and allow those sets of people, who in all ramifications have no singular respect and position for good governance and adequate fair representation. What other interest should the vice president have expect the success of various infrastructural development in the region, the involvement of Yorubas in governments and appointments, the inclusiveness of Yorubas in N-Power beneficiaries, Home Grown School Feeding Programme, and others?

The fake group alleged on basis that they are misinformed or decided to misguide themselves or they have granted their emotion the power to cloud their judgements.

“Osinbajo is hanging on the Fulani to work against Yoruba interest when our people are getting killed in their farms by Fulani herdsmen Osinbajo did not say anything."
“When we are talking about restructuring , Osinbajo is arguing against restructuring and all the Yoruba want is restructuring , so when Osinbajo is working against restructuring, he is not for Yoruba people" “So we cannot support APC because of Osinbajo, who has turned himself to the enemy of Yoruba." - they claimed.

The above quotation is one of the wrong and misguided assertions made by the group. They have argued Fulani herdsmen and restructuring baselessly and insincerely.

It is very laughable to claim the vice president is "hanging on the Fulani to work against the Yoruba...". Such statement is capable enough of causing disunity, as a result can birth crisis.

The effect of Fulani herdsmen(which is now a narrative of the past) possess a collective threat to all Nigerians irrespective of tribe, ethnic nationalities, religion and all diversities. The vice president interest is as similar to that of a typical and patriotic Nigerian, which is finding a lasting and sustainable panacea to all challenges, the unholy activities of the Fulani Herdsmen inclusive.

The group must have expected the vice president to give hate speeches capable enough of causing further security threat and intimidation from all sides - that the vice president will not do as a national figure, specifically as a patriotic Nigerian and importantly as a cultured and well mannered Yoruba race.

What is good and sane for any serious government has been done, which is getting rid of the security challenge of the herdsmen. We believe Pa Reuben interest is personal to him and his Afenifere faction. Their claims are obviously not correct in any extent.

The PDP candidate they endorsed was a former vice president, who under his nose and that of his boss watched Nigerians to die massively under Fulani herdsmen attack without arrangement and preparation to arrest the situation. The then president was a Yoruba man, who we believe they will have endorse for third, forth and even more terms they so wish as president, we can not be amazed, that is who they have used to be.

Pa Reuben Fasoranti fake Afenifere group went ahead to claim the vice president is against restructuring. This is equally laughable and baseless. Or could it be that he suffers from amnesia?

The vice president have always explain himself as a lead frontier of restructuring and true federalism in Nigeria. BOSF will love to awake their sleeping/dead minds.

When he(vice President) was an Anthony General of Lagos state under Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as Lagos state governor, their was a serious and long fight and agitation for restructuring. Lagos wanted to create more local governments and inclusively allow them to benefit directly from the state treasure. There was a serious plan to enable Lagos be independent in all spheres.

Lagos brought out reasonable plans for restructuring. The vice president team wanted and rigorously campaigned for restructuring, Atiku Abubakar as the then vice president turned deaf hears to the cries and agitations. He equally used all apparatus within his reach to fight back the stand, at the national assembly and even at the court of law. This is someone Pa Fasoranti and co Afenifere group endorsed as their candidate. Is that not shameful?

They noted, “That the Atiku endorsement is based on the following reasons; shared commitment to restructuring Nigeria to guaranty true federalism, need to promote the feelings of inclusiveness and sense of belonging amongst Nigerians and promote much desired national patriotism and unity."

We see this antagonistic and very hypocritical. How will someone who is an enemy of restructuring guarantee it suddenly. We understand it is merely to score cheap political points, but Nigerians, especially Yorubas are not freaked. The group failed to justify the vice president truest stand on restructuring but decided to paint him otherwise. We will not allow them to rewrite history for Nigerians.

We understand their notions and missions. We understand that they have used to be one of direct beneficiaries of PDP's misrule and mismanagement of public funds via shadow kinds of endorsements. They are thus pained that such free fraudulent gesture is not extended to them any longer. They live on that as means of survival. Hungry fishes will want to consume their feeders at expense of unmet overfed.

Nigerians, both home and in the diaspora must be concious and very mindful of fake agents who suddenly want to become the spokespersons of the Yoruba kingdom. Pa Reuben Fasanranti is unrecognized as a figure of reckoning in the Yoruba land. Himself and Co travellers are mere apologists who want attention and be able to feed their starving stomachs of hunger.

All Yoruba race can identify Pa Ayo Fasanmi as the authentic leader of Afenifere Egbe Ilosiwaju Ile Yoruba. He is an octogenarian who has lived meaningful percentage of his life in pure service to Yoruba race and with the sage, Late Pa Obafemi Awolowo(the image maker of Yoruba nationhood). He is actively involved and fully part of all nationalist movements led by Late Awolowo for Yoruba land. He is seen as a man of impregnable quality and untainted integrity whose voice largely count for the Yoruba race.

Pa Fasanmi stand to represent the genuine Yoruba people with the likes of Elder Yemi Slade of Ekiti, Prince Tajudeen Plus of Lagos, Prof Bayonile Ademodi of Ondo, Chief S.M Ademodi of Oyo and H.E Sooko Adewoyin of Osun. Anyone trying to contest the voice of Yoruba with these great men are wasting time and causing self serious grief. Yoruba nationhood recorgnises her voice and leaders.

Pa Reuben and co are free to endorse whosoever they wish, but, they should not make it to appear as a general endorsement or the choice of Yoruba.

The authentic Afenifere led Pa Ayo Fasanmi has made their endorsement for President Muhammadu Buhari and Prof Yemi Osinbajo. They fairly justified that the duo led federal government has satisfied the yearnings of Yoruba land and of course Nigerians, thus, they deserve reelection.

Nigerians and Yorubas will definitely stand by men of integrity who in all respects and regards are taming the exotic taste of our nationhood.

The choice of the Yorubas on February 16, 2019 presidential poll will vividly show that Yorubas are ungrateful and not against progress and development of the country. It will definitely reflect the mandate of President Muhammadu Buhari and Prof Yemi Osinbajo. As Nigerians walk to February 16, we urge all to remain resilient and keep faith with the gospel of Next Level.

Thanks and God bless.

Politics / FG Exposes Pdp’s Plan To Orchestrate Crisis, Trigger Panic Ahead Of Polls by Frankonuche: 8:43pm On Feb 12, 2019
With just a few days to the Presidential and National Assembly elections, the Federal Government has alerted the nation to the last-minute desperate plot by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to orchestrate a crisis and trigger a sense of panic among the populace, in furtherance of their plan to discredit the election and cause a constitutional crisis.

In a statement issued in Abuja on Tuesday, the Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, said the plot confirms the alarm raised by the Federal Government on Jan. 21st and Feb. 3rd 2019 that the PDP is planning to scuttle the election and, where that fails, discredit it.

He said in the days ahead, PDP bigwigs, including its presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar, his running mate Peter Obi, PDP Governors and others, are planning a world press conference in order to level frivolous and unfounded allegations against the federal government and the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Alhaji Mohammed said that part of the false allegations they plan to make is that the Presidency, in connivance with the APC, is planning to force the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to announce presidential election results that are favourable to the government in power, on the basis of the false premise that the APC’s intelligence team is worried that the ruling party would lose the elections.

He said the PDP bigwigs also plan to use their world press conference to further disparage the Buhari Administration as well as the ruling APC, with a view to painting an unfavourable image of both to Nigerians and the international community and to put the government on the defensive in the run-up to the polls.

The Minister said the PDP’s last joker is a two-hour live press conference to be addressed by the PDP Publicity Secretary, Mr. Kola Ologbodiyan, on Feb. 14th, the last day of electioneering campaign, to chronicle all their concocted allegations and lies against the ruling government, cast aspersion on government and ruling party officials and throw innuendos here and there.

”As electioneering campaign winds down, the PDP has realized that it cannot possibly win a free, fair and credible polls. It has thus resorted to engaging in red herring, hauling insults and abuses at federal government and ruling party officials and making outlandish allegations with a view to creating a sense of panic and crisis.

”The truth is that President Muhammadu Buhari, a man respected globally for his integrity, has continuously assured that the elections will be free, fair, credible and peaceful. He has warmly welcomed observers, both local and foreign because he has nothing to hide, and because he is sure that the achievements of his Administration will win him re-election.

”We are therefore calling on all Nigerians and the international community to disregard any attempt to scuttle or discredit the polls. We urge observers to keep an open mind. There is no cause for alarm, except in the warped imagination of the PDP, which has entered the panic mode and is already ruing the loss of another general election even before it has been held,” he said.
Politics / Strong Momentum & Continuous Growth In Economy Further Show Buhari Administratio by Frankonuche: 5:53pm On Feb 12, 2019
*2018 overall reflects sustained improvement in non-oil sector

In what is a clear indication of the effectiveness of the economic policies of the Buhari presidency, Nigeria's Gross Domestic Product (GDP) figures recorded a marked improvement in the fourth quarter of 2018.

According to the National Bureau of Statistics, NBS, the GDP figure for the last quarter in 2018 is 2.38 per cent, reflecting continuous growth.

Below is a statement released in response to the new GDP figure by the Special Adviser to the President on Economic Matters, Dr. Adeyemi Dipeolu:

"The latest figures released by the National Bureau of Statistics, 2.38 per cent for the fourth Quarter (Q4), 2018 show an appreciable improvement in the growth performance of the economy. The figures are encouraging in several respects.

Notably, the growth recorded in the fourth quarter of 2018 (Q4 2018) was higher than both the growth of 1.81% in Q3 2018 and in the corresponding fourth quarter of 2017.  Indeed, quarter-on-quarter growth from Q3 2018 to Q4 2018 was 5.31%, which signals a great potential for a higher annual growth rate.

In annual terms, the growth rate more than doubled in 2018, rising to 1.93% as compared to 0.82% in 2017, again reflecting the strong momentum of growth.

Also notable is the fact that growth in Q4 2018, and indeed for the whole year, owed a great deal to the performance of the non-oil sector. The non-oil sector grew at 2.7% in Q4 2018 as compared to 1.14% in the oil sector. The non-oil sector also grew by 2% in the whole year 2018 which was considerably better than its growth in the whole of 2017, which was 0.47%.  The share of the non-oil sector in GDP was 92.94% while the oil sector contributed 7.06%.

With the maintenance of this trend, the economic diversification objectives of the Economic Recovery and Growth Plan are well on their way to being met.

It was encouraging that agriculture which accounts for 26.15% of total GDP grew by 2.46% in Q4 2018, while manufacturing grew by 2.09%.  The service sector which accounts for 53.62% of GDP registered its strongest growth performance in 11 quarters.

Transport and storage, as well and information and communication, were particularly notable growing at 13.91% and 9.65% in the whole of 2018. This owes a lot to the investments that are being made in roads and rail as well as in broadband infrastructure.

The NBS figures also show that 39 out of 46 economic activities recorded growth in Q4 2018 which shows that growth across sectors is becoming more mutually reinforcing.

This growth is consistent with the policies and principles of the Economic Recovery and Growth Plan (ERGP) relating to macroeconomic stability and economic diversification.  When better economic fundamentals like lower inflation rates, increased foreign reserves, a more stable exchange rate and increased capital inflows are taken together with increased investments in the real sector, infrastructure, the social sector and business environment; it portends well for economic performance in 2019 and beyond.

Indeed, the economy remains well on course to grow by 3% in 2019 as estimated in the Medium-Term Expenditure Framework."

The Buhari administration will continue to pursue the ERGP diligently and Nigerians can expect that economic conditions will continue to get better even as we move on to the Next Level.

Politics / Leah Sharibu's Death Report 'absolutely Fake News' - FG by Frankonuche: 7:16pm On Feb 10, 2019
The Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, has
described as 'absolute fake news' the reports in the Social Media that
the abducted Dapchi school girl, Leah Sharibu, has died in captivity.

“It’s absolutely fake news. There is nothing like that,” the Minister
said at a press briefing in Ilorin, Kwara State, on Sunday

He said the rumour of Miss Sharibu’s death, which surfaced just a few
days to the presidential election, is another ploy by the political
opposition to tarnish the image of the administration and exploit
primordial sentiments ahead of the polls.

“I think it’s part of the opposition’s strategies to throw everything
at the administration and at the President. I think everyday they are
realizing the hopelessness of their position.

“Everyday they are amazed by the support Mr. President is receiving
from every part of the country and they have decided that they are
going to spread falsehood, inflame passion and make this election a
Muslim-Christian affair or North-South affair, but people are not
listening to them,” Alhaji Mohammed said.

Speaking on the Monday’s presidential campaign rally in Ilorin, he
said the All Progressives Congress (APC) has put everything in place
to ensure that the visit of President Buhari is a huge success.

“The party has been meeting in the last couple of days to ensure that
the President’s visit is very successful. We have watched the rallies
in many parts of the country and we want to assure Mr. President that
our rally in terms of numbers, quality of people, entertainment and
colour will rank among the best,” the Minister said.

He said the crowd that will come out to receive the President will be
organic as the party does not engage in renting crowds.

Alhaji Mohammed appealed to security agencies to create a level
playing field for all the contestants in the election to allow the
people to freely exercise their franchise, saying those involved in
legitimate activities have nothing to fear.

He also described the protest in some circles over the redeployment of
Police Commissioners across the country as the handiwork of the
opposition, which is working to discredit the police and the
Independent National Electoral Commission.

Politics / 14 Blunders Of Atiku, Obi On ‘the Candidates’ That ‘nailed’ Pdp’s Hope Of Presid by Frankonuche: 11:15am On Feb 10, 2019
As a Nigerian, it’s very necessary to be observant of sensitive questions that was asked but was answered with irrelevant humor.

I stand to state visibly here that these sensitive questions were borne from issues that concerns the situation of the nation and hence, cannot be ignored.

Read Below;
1. Atiku claimed to have been involved in the anti corruption campaign under Obasanjo that recovered $4 billion but he doesn’t believe in prosecution of corrupt individual.

Which mean in a simple understanding, steal the money, and we shall collect whatever is left back and if you give us, we would let you go free.

2. He claimed he is the most investigated politician, the question is who and who investigated Atiku?

3. Atiku boldly answered that when the shites blocked the army, the army should have invited the police.
Does he understand what he actually said? That was a joke too far.

4. He admitted that one of his mistakes as head of economic team was the misappropriation of educational funds.Let me state here that, at that time, the educational funds were disburse to several platforms and federal agencies headed by his friends. Which means he obviously has been enriching his friends before now.

5. Atiku admitted to making mistake in policy implementation as concerning privatization. Obviously, NITEL couldn’t value much again and was sold 1/5 of the initial value.

6. When asked about the implication of his wife in the case of fraud in the US, Atiku declared that his wife is an American. That must be a joke!

7. Kadaria claimed himself and Volpi owns Intels and at that time they were giving government contracts to them. Atiku claimed he didn’t own Intels and obviously he does.

8. Atiku Abubakar agreed that the economy was doing fairly well before APC came into power in 2015 (don’t forget NOT warned us of coming recession) so it was a gradual economic disintegration.

9. Atiku Abubakar was asked why he should be elected by Nigerians, he was referring to the achievements of APC. Lack of focus!

10. Peter Obi suddenly became a stammerer and couldn’t clearly explain why he used the money of Anambra’s people to enrich his family via the brewery he brought. (I would say Willie Obiano was right about him).

11. Atiku was asked about EFCC reforms and if he prosecute his friends.
He went ahead to mention the judiciary as the problem and delayed cases in court. It makes me wonder if it is not the same rot and unethical practices that he has been publicly and fully supporting in Onnoghen

12. Atiku claim the farmers Anchors programme was fake. This was a terrible gaffe and I’ve chosen to write specifically on this because, the facts, figures and proofs of the impact of this programme are too obvious to ignore or rubbish.

13. Atiku said he lifted 45,000 thousands family out of poverty via his microfinance bank loan. It’s obvious that figure calling on national TV is very easy especially when there are no means or measures of verification.I looked at Adamawa rank in poverty list of the states in Nigeria and specifically the top 10 and Adamawa state is presently ranked No. 1. What is this man saying exactly? What impact has he made in Adamawa as vice-president for 8 years? In Yola, I was rightly informed that anything Atiku are the most expensive in the state. How has he made life truly easy for his own people?

14. In August 2018, Obasanjo listed the many crimes of Atiku and accordingly claimed that he won’t forgive him. As a result of the question asked from the audience, related issue was raised.

In response, Atiku didn’t denial his crimes neither did he rebut the dent on his personality as rightly asked but he went ahead to say if Obasanjo has now changed his mind, then that’s it.For Peter Obi, he supported Atiku by talking about referee and replays in football matches.

Before we get carried away, the big issue is, the forgiveness of Obasanjo does not mean Atiku didn’t commit the said crimes under Obasanjo and it’s a pity that such question was once again answered with irrelevant comics.

Personal Observations:
● Atiku seem to be making sense to gullible minds because of the group of persons clapping at almost every statement Atiku made. Kinda makes me wonder how much they were paid.

● In Atiku and Obi, I saw two politicians always on the defensive and counterattacking the interviewer instead of stating clearly there agenda, making Kadaria look like she’s witch hunting them with questions.

● Obi appears like a joker, he was a comedian than a politician and he playfully dodge several questions to the point that the Moderator asked him several times to be serious.

● PDP audience lacked comportment, they made the town hall meeting a rowdy and intimidating for Kadaria but she held her turf. At a time she asked them to have respect for Nigerians who are watching this.

I think above all opinions and sentiments, the performance of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate and former vice president of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar and his vice presidential candidate Peter Obi in reference to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP governance) for 16 years and prospectives of this duo for Nigeria if elected does not have a solid structure that can carry this nation
Politics / Small Doctor Endorse Buhari-osinbajo Reelection by Frankonuche: 7:43pm On Feb 09, 2019
Popular Nigerian musician, Adekunle Temitope, aka Small Doctor has endorsed President Muhammadu Buhari and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo for re-election in next week's presidential polls.

Small Doctor made the endorsement on his official Instagram account on Saturday. He also posted an animated video.

He explained that he was inspired to endorse President Buhari and VP Osinbajo after a meeting with Buhari-Osinbajo South West Support Group (BOSWG), a group led by Lagos based PR expert & Ife Princess Temilade Aderemi Okesanjo.

Buhari and Osinbajo are seeking re-election on the platform of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

The musician deployed the tune and rhythm of his hit song, Penalty, to support the duo who he credited for fighting corruption and developing Nigeria.

“After meeting with the BOSWG, I believe we should stand up for what we believe in. We all should support and re-elect President Buhari,” he posted along with the animated video on Saturday morning.

Asides endorsing President Buhari’s re-election, Small Doctor urged Nigerians against selling their votes to other candidates.

“If you no vote Buhari, hide your face, won ti gba opposition lo throwing,” he said in the song.

BOSWSG led by Princess Temilade Aderemi Okesanjo, is one of the leading groups that support President Buhari and Prof Osinbajo’s re-election and it is also a group that Small Doctor supports.

Politics / Osinbajo's Unique Style Of Campaigning by Frankonuche: 2:42pm On Jan 29, 2019
It is perhaps the biggest day of their lives, the anxiety and nervousness have reached pitch fever levels, they can’t believe it, they will be hosting Nigeria’s number two man in their ‘Face Me – I Face You’ (one-bedroom) apartment.

It is their shot at stardom but something keeps telling them that the VP won’t come, its never happened before in Nigeria history that the Vice President will visit a citizen who lives in the rural area but to their amazement Vice President Yemi Osinbajo showed up.

The whole street was agog with shouts and excitement, the VP was in their ‘hood’ and he’s shaking hands and acknowledging cheers, he’s even stopping to have a chat or two with their neighbours in Ijesha, Osun State as he visited the family of Alhaji Jimoh.

Unprecedented? This is beyond that, this is breathtaking. This is a man doing what he loves to do for his country and its people. This is a man that sees no social or political barriers, in short, this is a man that has redefined our political space forever.

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo is connecting with people like never before, this is a trait he is known for, right from the days when he was not yet VP. He finds door-to-door campaign interesting and it is seen to be more effective in reaching out to the people, who directly communicate with him, be it the ‘Molue’ or the fast food restaurant.

Prof Osinbajo is always on the move to improve direct communication between government and the people, over the years it has become his signature style. Now members of the opposition are embracing this same style by embarking on door-to-door campaigns but its obvious that they have no connection, no chemistry, they simply just do it for the cameras.

Nigerians know that Prof Osinbajo has their best interests at heart. With him, there are no Ghana-Must-Go Bags, no rice or ankara just genuine love for Nigeria and Nigerians.

Globally, Prof Yemi Osinbajo is seen as a man of the people, always spreading happiness and love. He is not your regular African politician, who distance themselves from the people on the streets, his humanity transcends like a million stars. Little wonder the people have nicknamed him ‘The Starboy’ because they see him as one of their own guiding them towards to the next level.

Politics / If Farook Kperoogi Was A Trader by Frankonuche: 12:07pm On Jan 22, 2019
If Farook Kperoogi was a trader, his store would always have one police man and a customer inside, at every point in time. Why? He would have sold fake items, and the unsuspecting customers would have returned with the force of law to demand a refund and call for the shutdown of his store. Worse, if he was a pharmacist, he would have been responsible for the death of a great percentage of those who make the error of patronising him.

Farook Kperoogi is a trader indeed. But his stock in trade is not the sale of household items, pharmaceuticals or general goods. He is a merchant of fake news. Of lies and of stories that have no place in reality.

Farook Kperoogi is notorious for coming up with figments of his imagination and ascribing the status of fact to them, as if they were indeed so. He does not spare his unsuspecting readers in his most recent piece: A VOTE FOR APC ISN`T A VOTE FOR BUHARI.

In this ridiculous piece he points to the existence of cabals who he claims are stealing the common wealth of the nation. In his customary fashion, he shows no evidence, and provides no proofs. This has often made many question that he is a so-called lecturer. Shouldn’t a lecturer know better that you do not make assertions like this without at least any supporting evidence?

I have stumbled on some items of commentaries online on his lecturing by his students in Kennesaw University, and their reviews have helped me understand the absurdity that he is. They have most times noted that the Associate Professor is out of touch with reality and forces his wrong opinions on them.

In this ignorant piece that he attempts to sell, Farook makes an attack on the Vice President. A laughable one. He forgets that the Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo has his credentials of integrity and unquestionable honesty intact. All times Professor Osinbajo has been accused of a wrong, all times it has turned out false. This cannot be said of Farook who at every time he has put his pen to paper and churned out half baked lies, he has been ridiculed and embarrassed with facts to the contrary.

He claims the Vice President is a mere figure-head. A man who teaches comprehension and communication and sees all the activities the Vice President is engaged in, yet calls him a mere figure-head is indeed a trader of fake news.

To start with, compare the Vice President with former Vice Presidents and the roles they played in office. Professor Osinbajo has stood out in terms of his active de facto participation in governance, in the economy and even in politics. It is no news that he is the only Vice President Nigeria has ever had who has acted as President, and exercised those powers as if he were the President with no shortcomings or setbacks - from the President or in the quality of the decisions he made.

As Vice President, Professor Yemi plays the constitutional and critical role of heading Nigeria’s economy. And he has done this fantastically well. He is credited for being the mind behind taking Nigeria out of recession by leading an economic management team that came up with the unconventional policies that has put Nigeria on steady growth.

He is actively leading Nigeria’s journey to diversifying the economy through the route of improving our non-oil sector growth and creating inclusiveness for the poor. The poor today are being given an opportunity to come out of poverty and take advantage of sustainable opportunities that would enable them create wealth.

Vice President Osinbajo is known to manage the Social Investment Programmes: Nigeria’s most ambitious, most credible, and most effective Social Investment attempt. It is recorded that over ten million Nigerians are in one way or the other benefitting from the programmes.

If Farook was an honest man, he would at least have put these in the front burner when he scribbled the insult of an article he penned. A compulsive liar and an evil one too.

He also puts on the table some events that he claims to have taken place in the villa and says they indeed happened. He is obsessed with the existence of a cabal.

Asides the fact that these events exist only in the imaginations of Farook, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo does not just enjoy the respect, loyalty and honour of the friends of the President, his inner circle and his appointees, Osinbajo also enjoys the support, respect and regard of President Buhari - who has said this and shown this time without number.

The Buhari - Osinbajo relationship is blessed and orchestrated divinely - it is the most proactive, balanced and in fact the best synergy between a President and his Vice we have ever seen.

The likes of Kperoogi, the bitter rotten lemons, who are morose when good things happen may continue to sell their fake goods and fake products to unsuspecting victims. But like all fake items, they do not last, they cause a rumble in the tummy, and they are thrown away. Nigerians are wiser, they do not buy nonsense anymore.

Politics / Farooq Kperogi: A Vote For APC IS A Vote For Buhari by Frankonuche: 12:00pm On Jan 22, 2019
I always read the musings of Farooq Kperogi and wonder if he really did go to school, speak less, attain the rank of a professor, he mostly sounds like a dropout from high school who is vexed with everybody and everything in this world including himself.

I am sure that those who have been unfortunate to stumble upon one or two rantings of this self-styled professor will agree that he has the reasoning of a five-year old, in some cases, a five-year old will reason better.

To say Kperogi has been seeking relevance in Nigeria for a very long time is me stating the obvious, but the problem is no one seems to know if he exists. He has found social media to be his field, where he writes all sort of hogwash.

His latest failings were documented in his Facebook post titled, “A Vote for APC ISN'T a Vote for Buhari”.

What baffles me most about this lad is the fact that he thinks many Nigerians are stupid. In his latest below-par rant, he claimed that President Muhammadu Buhari is a vegetable, which would have been excusable if YouTube was not in existence. Even in the US, you can watch President Buhari go from venue to venue, from campaign rally to campaign rally, how exactly is he a vegetable?

The only thing that is a vegetable is the brain of Kperogi. It’s understandable since he is in constant competition with Femi Fani-Kayode, Reno Omokri and others for the leading knucklehead social commentator and I could well give him a joint first place award.

Away from Buhari being a vegetable, he says there is a cabal that controls Nigeria and that Vice President Yemi Osinbajo cannot stand up to them. This is the most laughable accusation anyone can make in 2019 but of course Kperogi is not anyone, this guy revels in the stone age. He’s just another ‘Curious Case of Benjamin Button’ if you know the movie.

It is on record that the Vice President sent the name of Chief Justice of Nigeria, CJN Walter Onnoghen to the Senate for approval and since then he has been the CJN until the case of his false asset declaration was exposed. Why wasn’t his appointment overturned, as claimed by this guy who lives in the United States but wants Nigeria to burn just to feed his rabid and morbid fantasies?

Secondly, he gave a directive that the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) be overhauled and within minutes the former Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris overhauled SARS to FSARS.

Thirdly, as acting President he gave approval of N21 billion for the construction of the Ilorin-Omu Aran-Kabba Road, Section I. He also approved the award of N126 billion road projects spread across Kano, Bauchi, Adamawa, Kwara, Gombe, Enugu and Kaduna states.

Fourthly, he signed seven bills into law including Oaths (Amendment) Act 2017; Defence Space Administration Act 2017; Veterinary Surgeons (Amendment) Act 2017; and others.

Please were any of these actions overturned? This only goes to show that self-styled professor Kperogi has never done a single research in his life, because if he truly did any, a simple check on Google would have saved him a lot of shame and embarrassment.

The claim that the sack of former DSS boss Mamman Daura was overturned is false. He was sacked and has remained sacked, but I don’t expect Kperogi to know that, he is simply incapable of learning while throwing his online tantrums masquerading as a blog.

As for the for the 2019 presidential election, it is a done deal. No one will rig this election and President Buhari who said, ‘God Dey’ and technology through Card Reader brought him to governance has vowed to ensure that the same process is used again.

For filthy, corrupt persons like Kperogi, no good can come out of Nigeria. He is always critical of the leadership and never sees anything good because he is a totally bad person inside and out.
Politics / How Atiku Spent $4.8 Milion Dollars To Secure Waiver To Enter America by Frankonuche: 1:01pm On Jan 21, 2019
HOW ATIKU SPENT $4.8 MILION DOLLARS TO SECURE WAIVER TO ENTER AMERICA, THAT MADE ZERO IMPACT ON HIS INTEGRITY AND PRESIDENTIAL CAMPAIGN

An insider source very close to Senator Bukola Saraki, the Senate President and the Director General of the Atiku Abubakar Presidential Campaign Organisation has revealed how Senator Saraki engaged some American and other foreign Lobbyists to secure entry for Atiku Abubakar into America. Alhaji Atiku indicted by the American Senate for corrupt practices, who could not travel to United States of America for over a decade following intelligence reported that he was on the wanted list in America for various degrees of corruption offences was able to find himself into America for a less than 50-hours visit.

According to the source who preferred not to be named, he said Senator Saraki got some lobbyists who explored some loopholes in International Law and America’s Policy on Non-Intervention (Non-Interference) with political activities of foreign countries. The source said it was a very high level and secret arrangement, even most of the leaders of the Atiku Campaign Organisation and the Peoples Democratic Party were out of the picture.

The source said: “America has this policy that prohibits the country from interfering with political activities of other countries. The lobbyists simply put up well articulated argument which made it seem that America’s refusal to allow Atiku entry into America at this moment was already providing an advantage to the All Progressives Congress (APC)”. He said, in the lobbyists’ opinion, “any action of America that confers an advantage to a political party amounts to interference in the electoral process.”

It was based on this argument that Atiku Abubakar was given a waiver to enter into America and the waiver was for 6months. The entry was however subjected to so many restrictions, one of which was that Atiku could not stay in America for more that 7days on the entry within the waiver period. He added, “Atiku was prohibited from having any communication with any member of the American Government, whether of the executive or the legislature. He also signed 24 hours surveillance watch on him while in America”.

Independent investigation revealed that America is a signatory to the United Nations Declaration on the Inadmissibility of Intervention and Interference in the Domestic Affairs of States (UNGA Resolution 2131 (XX) of 1965. The resolution has formed the basis for the relationship between so many member states including America. In international law, the principle of non-intervention is not limited to the prohibition of the threat or use of force against the territorial integrity of a state, but also includes interference on the political independence of any state. The principle of non-intervention in the internal affairs of States also signifies that a State should not otherwise intervene in a dictatorial way in the internal affairs and electoral process of other States.

You would recall that weeks before Atiku Abubakar was granted waiver to enter into America, Mr. Russell Brooks, the Public Affairs Officer at the US Consulate General Lagos, was on the news to say that America would continue to remain neutral and do everything not to be seen to prefer any candidate. He said: “We are not favouring or supporting any candidate. It is up to the Nigerian people to decide. Our candidate is the process. The process should be free and fair, it should be a non-violent process. I am not talking of any plus or minus of any candidate, we are not favouring any candidate. We are not trying to influence the success of any candidate. That is not our role.”

The source made a rather more shocking revelation when he said that “the lobbyists charged $4m USD. The facilitators that link them to the lobbyists charged $800,000 USD”

Even though the National Chairman of PDP, Prince Uche Secondus has described Atiku’s visit to United States of America as “political milestone achievement”, however the dominant public opinion is that it made zero impact on Atiku’s integrity or on his political campaign. The truth remains that should Atiku Abubakar lose in his presidential bid, he would automatically lose the privilege and waiver that got him into America after a decade of ban.

As an APC supporter puts it succinctly: “Alhaji Atiku is simply running the election to acquire diplomatic immunity to shield him from pending danger. It is the duty of Nigerians to stop him from acquiring that immunity and protection from persecution”.

Politics / Buhari’s Campaign Explains His Absence At Debate, Slams Atiku by Frankonuche: 8:41pm On Jan 19, 2019
PRESS STATEMENT BY APC PRESIDENTIAL CAMPAIGN COUNCIL:
WHY PRESIDENT MUHAMMADU BUHARI DID NOT ATTEND THE PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE ORGANISED BY THE NIGERIA ELECTION DEBATE GROUP AND THE BROADCASTING ORGANISATIONS OF NIGERIA

The President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, who is also the APC Presidential Candidate in the forthcoming Presidential Election, President Muhammadu Buhari, could not attend the Presidential Debate organised by the Nigeria Election Debate Group and the Broadcasting Organisations of Nigeria which held today, Saturday, January 19, 2019 for the following reasons:

Firstly, out of several opportunities afforded our candidate to interact with the Nigerian people directly by different organisations, our presidential candidate has taken full advantage of another town-hall meeting organized by another group which held on Wednesday, January 16, 2019. He was also joined at that town-hall meeting by our Vice-Presidential candidate who is also the Vice-President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, SAN. Nigerians from all walks of life who were physically present and through on-line platforms asked uncensored questions which were adequately answered. It was also transmitted live by various broadcast networks in Nigeria.

In addition, the busy and hectic official and campaign schedules of Mr. President clashed with this programme. Today, Mr. President commissioned the Baro Inland Water Port in Niger State and campaigned in Niger and Plateau States where his time was over-stretched by the tumultuous and mammoth crowds in both States, (as seen by Nigerians on live television) and only returned to Abuja late this evening.

Whilst we thank the organisers for the invitation, we want to assure Nigerians that we shall continue to hold these debate groups and Nigerians in high esteem which our candidate has demonstrated during past election debates when he honoured similar invitations. Nigerians will also recall that a few weeks ago, our Vice-Presidential candidate, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, also attended the debate organized by the same organisations.

Lastly, we note the statement of the candidate of the PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar who actually came for the event and left the venue when he did not see Mr. President, who is our candidate. According to him, he would not want to “attack” Mr. President in his absence.

It should now be obvious to Nigerians that for Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and the PDP, this election is all about attacking the person and programmes of Mr. President and not about proffering their own solutions to the problems they created during their sixteen years of misrule, maladministration and looting of the nation’s resources. When they cannot see President Buhari to attack, the content of their campaign becomes hollow, empty and “full of sound and fury, signifying nothing”. Now that Atiku Abubakar had a unique opportunity to explain to Nigerians his own vision and mission without a President Buhari in the picture, he ran away. Afterall, he has his own eight years of crass and grand corruption as Vice President to defend before the Nigerian people.

On February 16, 2019 we urge Nigerians to demonstrate to Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and the PDP, through their votes, how empty indeed their campaign has always been and to vote massively for President Muhammadu Buhari and Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, SAN who have started the rebuilding process of our great nation.

Thank you.

My Lord, Tell Me Where To Keep Your Bribe?
By Niyi Osundare
A poem by the renowned Nigerian poet

My Lord

Please tell me where to keep your bribe?

Do I drop it in your venerable chambers

Or carry the heavy booty to your immaculate mansion

Shall I bury it in the capacious water tank

In your well laundered backyard

Or will it breathe better in the septic tank

Since money can deodorize the smelliest crime

Shall I haul it up the attic

Between the ceiling and your lofty roof

Or shall I conjure the walls to open up

And swallow this sudden bounty from your honest labour

Shall I give a billion to each of your paramours

The black, the light, the Fanta-yellow

They will surely know how to keep the loot

In places too remote for the sniffing dog

Or shall I use the particulars

Of your anonymous maidservants and manservants

With their names on overflowing bank accounts

While they famish like ownerless dogs

Shall I haul it all to your village

In the valley behind seven mountains

Where potholes swallow up the hugest jeep

And Penury leaves a scar on every house

My Lord

It will take the fastest machine

Many, many days to count this booty; and lucky bank bosses

May help themselves to a fraction of the loot

My Lord

Tell me where to keep your bribe?

My Lord

Tell me where to keep your bribe?

The “last hope of the common man”

Has become the last bastion of the criminally rich

A terrible plague bestrides the land

Besieged by rapacious judges and venal lawyers

Behind the antiquated wig

And the slavish glove

The penguin gown and the obfuscating jargon

Is a rot and riot whose stench is choking the land

Behind the rituals and roted rigmaroles

Old antics connive with new tricks

Behind the prim-and-proper costumes of masquerades

Corruption stands, Unclad, in its insolent impunity

For sale to the highest bidder

Interlocutory and perpetual injunctions

Opulent criminals shop for pliant judges

Protect the criminal, enshrine the crime

And Election Petition Tribunals

Ah, bless those goldmines and bottomless booties!

Scoundrel vote-riggers romp to electoral victory

All hail our buyable Bench and conniving Bar

A million dollars in Their Lordship’s bedroom

A million euros in the parlor closet

Countless naira beneath the kitchen sink

Our courts are fast running out of Ghana-must-go’s*

The “Temple of Justice”

Is broken in every brick

The roof is roundly perforated

By termites of graft

My Lord

Tell me where to keep your bribe?

Judges doze in the courtroom

Having spent all night, counting money and various “gifts”

And the Chief Justice looks on with tired eyes

As Corruption usurps his gavel.

Crime pays in this country

Corruption has its handsome rewards

Just one judgement sold to the richest bidder

Will catapult Judge & Lawyer to the Billionaires’ Club

The Law, they say, is an ass

Sometimes fast, sometimes slow

But the Law in Nigeria is a vulture

Fat on the cash-and-carry carrion of murdered Conscience

Won gb’ebi f’alare

Won gb’are f’elebi**

They kill our trust in the common good

These Monsters of Mammon in their garish gowns

Unhappy the land

Where jobbers are judges

Where Impunity walks the streets

Like a large, invincible Demon

Come Sunday, they troop to the church

Friday, they mouth their mantra in pious mosques

But they pervert Justice all week long

And dig us deeper into the hellish hole

Nigeria is a huge corpse

With milling maggots on its wretched hulk

They prey every day, they prey every night

For the endless decomposition of our common soul

My Most Honourable Lord

Just tell me where to keep your bribe.

** They declare the innocent guilty

They pronounce the guilty innocent

Politics / ICYMI: Even Atiku Knows That His Money Will Be Safe With Buhari, Says Osinbajo by Frankonuche: 9:30am On Jan 09, 2019
Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo says members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and their presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, can’t deny that President Muhammadu Buhari is an honest man.

Osinbajo stated this while addressing the `Drive 4 Buhari-Osinbajo’ rally organised by the ‘I am Ready’ campaign group alongside other support groups on Tuesday in Abuja.

Referring to an earlier remark by governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi, Osinbajo said Nigeria’s wealth is safe with Buhari.

The vice-president said: “We will not allow them to come back. I think that the very right question has been asked; where will you rather put your money?

“If it is me, I will put my money in Buhari bank because even Buhari’s worst enemies know that he is an honest man; even the thieves know that he is an honest man.

“Even the enemies will put their money in his bank because they know that their money will be safe in his bank; we have today an honest man as president, a man who will use the money for what it is meant.

“Even his worst enemy knows that he is an honest man and that he will use the money. I pray for our country that our country will be great.

“And the only way our country would be great is if you and I vote for a man who is honest, for a man who is truthful, a man we know, even his opponents know, everybody in PDP knows that he is an honest man.

“Even Atiku knows that Buhari is an honest man; and he can never deny that; nobody can deny that; that is the kind of leader we want for our country today.”

Osinbajo said that the Buhari-led administration had made giant strides in the last three years.
