The most important job of the President is the security of his citizens and their welfare. That's why he's called the Commander in Chief. In both of this, he has failed woefully. The other sectors like Education , Infrastructure , Health, Economy, Energy , fighting Corruption and so on . On all this , I give him an F. He's failed the country like his other predecessors. All this old retread are not going to make Nigeria better. The youths should go for massive youth revolution and drive out this old kleptocrats and their oligarchs partner for a better Nigeria.

I support your suggestion but who will be at the front? Who will lead.

You know a country is in trouble when all they have to choose from is

1. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan
2. Gen. M. Buhari
3. Atiku Abubakar.

May God see us through.
We really need the help of God, each time i think of this, i feel pain. The worst of it all, is the fact that there is no one better person to chose from. How long would we continue to endure all these things?
Politics / Do You Think That GEJ Has Performed To Nigerians Expectations by freelife4all(m): 5:23pm On Nov 07, 2014
For me i do not want sentiment to over power my judgement, because anything that affect you will affect me, and many other people. Before now i was a lover of Good luck but after taken my time to consider many thing happening in Nigeria, i discover that GEJ has not perform to my expectations and he is not the man that will save us from the mess, this situation that we are. GEJ knowing fully well that our major problem is power did not pay much attention to it and too our dilapidated refinery, which is why we are still importing refined petroleum products. The big question now is who will save us from the situation that we are? Please don't tell that these people that are so much desperate to snatch power by all means and has no plan, no clear ideology and manifesto on how to rule Nigeria will save us.

I don't know the reason why you said that you are proud to be a Nigeria, but since there is freedom of speech and too your personal opinion, i will not judge you. But nna to be frank i am looking for how to denounce my citizenship as Nigeria. Infact there is not nothing for me to be proud of Nigeria for, because Nigeria is not even proud of me. Please nairalander help me, how do i denounce my citizenship as a Nigeria.

First of all, before I am crucified, let me say that what I mean is in a comparative sense rather than an absolute sense; I believe he's performed far better than the others since democracy, and here's why:

He established the EFCC, the ICPC and strengthened the Code of Conduct Bureau to fight corruption in Nigeria. Convicting for the first (and only) time, high-ranking government officials like Tafa Balogun and Alams, albeit politically motivated, I wish the tempo could have been maintained subsequently.

When he left office in 2007, the growth rate of the economy had risen from 3% to 7%, making Nigeria one of the fastest growing economies in the world. He did this by finding really excellent people to work with him eg Ngozi, Ezekwesili, Ribadu, Soludo, El-Rufai, Dora etc. He discovered all these people and convinced them to contribute their quota.

The Nigerian foreign reserve was only $2 billion when he came into office in 1999. By 2007, when he left office, the reserve had risen to a whopping $43 billion and he secured $18 billion debt pardons from the Paris and London clubs and got Nigeria free of debt!!!

The banking consolidation and reform, the telecom reform, the education reform (with Obi's UBE), the due process office reform, the servicom reform, the privatization reform, the NAFDAC and NDLEA reforms and finally, keeping the peace, both internally and in our international peace-keeping mission that always brought us glory, were all from this administration. I wonder how we were surviving without GSM in 1998, and how many jobs that revolution created. All this in 8 years, while Jonathan has been there since February 2010 (4 years plus now), with absolutely nothing to show for it except corruption and insecurity. Jonathan's locomotive trains I think is a good start sha.

He wasn't perfect, but I think to have achieved all these is somewhat commendable, especially the institutional strength he built in the country. I'm always in tears when I compare that to this near-imbecilic government that people are shouting all over the place about because of rice and beans they will get. We deserve much better.

You are an enemy of Nigeria. Well, since this is your opinion, i don't need to abuse you. But to be frank you dey talk like person wen dem break in head. OgborOgbo.

He gave approval to his house boy Sanusi or his toy. Because of his interest in the reconciliation, but he should not forget that GEJ is not a fool, he have accepted the reconciliation visit because he is the president and do not want people to see him as the bad person. He had just played like he has forgotten every thing that has happened, he has not.

mine would have been to go back to 1960 to make sure that the agitation and fight for independent is frustrated. There would't have been early independent in Nigeria. Because we are not matured to lead ourself, all this things happening would't have been happening.

This is a welcome development, we have a long way to go, and i know that some people will not be have with policy because of there interest just like some have frustrated the effort in the power sector. But one thing i know for sure is that my God will punish those people that have kept Nigeria the way it is , Amen. It will never be well with them, dead or alive.

Christian Group Urges APC to Adopt Buhari as
Presidential Candidate

ACH forth Nigeria, a Christian Non-Governmental Organisation, has thrown its weight behind the candidacy of former Head of State and presidential aspirant of the All Progressive Congress (APC), General Muhammadu Buhari (Rtd.).

It asked the leadership of the party to adopt him as its candidate for the 2015 presidential election. National Chairman of the organisation, Rev. Yunana Oganto, said in a statement that events at the declaration of intention by Buhari at the Eagle Square were clear indications of his acceptability across the country.

He said: “It must be emphatically stated that the APC has no option in deciding who the presidential candidate should be, as the issue is finally being settled by the Nigerian masses.”

He stated that the All Progressive Congress (APC) would need to collectively take a decisive and pragmatic decision by adopting the proposal by the Nigerian masses, as represented in the General Muhammadu Buhari’s candidacy.

Don't let that to be your problem, he will repay it soon. Is just that he used the money that he was purpose to use to pay for the ticket to pay the bomb that his boys will use if he did not win the 2015 election

Without going through the nine point agenda, i know that general
Buhari is the only person that can solve this boko haram problem within
one week if elected. It will not cost him anything , just a call. Boys it's
okay, just stop the killings and bombing for now, aims have have been
achieved. For this i may decide to vote for him for peace to rain. If he
promise to call the boys to order.
