Hello phone gurus please come to my aid. my problem. Started today when I took a selfie and the next thing I'm seeing is corrupted SD card. Tap to fix this. I did as was requested only to get to a part that says this format will erase all contents in the SD card and fix it.

I'm so depressed. This SD card contains so many things about my life for over 10 years. Loosing it now is so hard.

Please is there anyway I can recover the content of the SD card before format.

Looks like it's formatted already. Look for card reader, plug to a laptop. Download recuva, use the software to scan your memory card to recover your data. At least u will recover up to 50% or more.

Good morning guys i come with good news. My problem has been solved.
It was a mechanical problem. The gear cable in the engine bay, was rubbing against a plastic casing, housing some wires, thereby hooking the gear shifter.

I bought new battery for the remote, still same thing. I removed the battery head since Wednesday. Hoping it would reset. If it doesn't, next step is to scan the car, which is a challenge here in Enugu. I'll keep you updated

Any update?

I checked for a blown fuse, the radio fuse was blown i changed it, but problem is still there. I noticed that the intelligent ley lock sign on the dashboard is showing once i open the door. It stays on for about 15 seconds b4 it goes off. If i start the car it stays on permanently. I want to change the remote battery tomorrow to see if it would help. Meanwhile the gear shift solenoid is working fine cos if i start the car with my legs on the brake, the gear moves out a bit from park but doesn't reach reverse. Unlike when car is off, the gear doesn't shift an inch.

Ok. That shows too that your steering lock is released. Even though your brake lights come on normally suggesting connection with the relevant power source, the integrity of the switch could nonetheless be impaired. So I'd advise you look into that first. Beyond that is the shift lock solenoid which is part of the control device assembly under the shift lever. If that's bad the entire unit will have to be replaced.

The car starts fine. Maybe i should lock the steering first b4 starting it to observe the second question.

I've experienced something like this once and it turned out to be a blown fuse by the driver side. I'm sorry I can't help you on the actual fuse to look out for but you can replace any blown fuse you find.

I drove the car to church this morning, came back, after about 2 hours, wanted to go get something ,thats when it happened. I have tried the release lock by the gear nothing. The brake light is working well. Pls can it be electrical or is my cvt gearbox gone?
