Oduduwa is not what Brought Benin and Yoruba tribes together...before Oduduwa we used to have a good relationship
their is oba edare oodua of ife, i tried asking his son about the origin of oodua, unfortunately the guy knows nothing

I agree with the omonoba, oduduwa is the barnished ogiso prince, the name oduduwa sounds edoish what does oduduwa mean in yoruba? To really understand this we look on to tne gods, how did olokun emerge, how did ayelala evolve, these are gods worshipped by the both, if ayelala and olokun precedes oduduwa that means both ethnics had had connection before oduduwa

Beggars have invaded Onitsha, Nnewi, Ekwulobia, Umunze, Nkpor, Ihiala and Awka, among other towns in Anambra State, turning themselves into a problem. ODOGWU EMEKA ODOGWU reports that the Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development is taking steps to curb the menace.
