Thank you.

I plan on applying to two universities outside campus france.

Would I be required to pay another application fee if I decide to accept admission from schools outside campus france?

Yes and you’ll still have an interview with them about the school you select or gained admission in along with other information about yourself.

seniors in the house please respond

please I just got a message to pay the 50k to campus France
the issue is, I didn't see any school that goes below 16k euros. I searched and searched, all schools in Paris goes above that amount but I applied anyways. now my question is this:

I'm I paying the full tuition fee for the year? or in installments?
secondly, can I bring my family to France when admitted?
can I work during my program? what is the post study visa like?, if any, how many years do i get?

please I need an urgent answer to this before i make the deposit

thanks for your reply

Most schools accept installment payment, quarterly, five or six installments.

No, you can’t bring your family.

Yes, you can work part time. Full time during summer break. Post study visa is one year.

Good evening
Please for those that are applying for private schools in France that don’t need to go through campus France,
Will they have to apply for their student visa via campus France as well or it’s different??

Check @mimi17 response. You will still have to pass through campus france.

:thanks for the information, pls is there jiob opportunities in France for international students during and post graduation? Do they issue PGWP and if so, how many years? Thanks.

Yes, there are jobs. You just have to search like you would in any country. Prospects are high if you can master the french language by the end of your studies.

Post study work permit is for one year. After the one year you can change to a work visa and can apply for permanent residency or citizenship after you have completed four years in France (Five years if you didn’t study in France).

Hi, I asked someone who said he was in france how the covid situation is and he replied and I quote' it is somewhat serious, classes are done physically, you can present a negative pcr test to ENTER FRANCE BUT YOU WILL NEED A COVID PASS TO ACCESS RESTAURANTS, BARS e.t.c . But according to [www.diplomatie.gouv.fr] it said and I quote ' the pass [French Passe Sanitaire] 'In France, the COVID certificate is issued to people who have tested negative or who have been fully vaccinated with one of the vaccines recognized by the European Medicines Agency or one of the equivalents to these vaccines'.........does this mean I would be given a pass if I am tested negative?. Or I would need to be vaccinated to get a pass............ Thank you for your time.

No one knows how the situation will be in months to come but the best decision you will make if you are planning to move to a foreign country is to be fully vaccinated. You can do this for free and get your card. A Covid test can be very inconveniencing and costly.

I don’t have any french proficiency exam I mistakenly selected french taught programs can i change it ??

If you have submitted, you cannot change it. Don’t even bother to pay or attend any interview if it was all you selected. Just start searching for schools not connected to campus France to apply to them directly. They are usually private schools.

Webmasters / Re: Which Is Better To Start In 2022: Blogging Or Youtube by FrenchXpert(f): 11:19am On Dec 23, 2021
Blogging. YouTube is really hard to keep up with believe me. It also depends on the niche. Blogging about Education, Travel, Employment or general information for instance will fetch you more just for the consistency because for YouTube, people will look for your face and experience and you will wear out quickly. With blogging, you have a space to be creative or to just load information, vlogging, you have to be interesting at all times or spend a lot of money to showcase your experience, you really have to be made already.

Is this for all schools in France?

I ask because one of the schools I intend to apply to says their application will open in January

Did not ask this initially. Are we authenticating documents perhaps at ministry of education, finance, or the French embassy.

Also! Is application fees needed

No authentication is required.

You can avoid the schools that charge application fee. Public schools do not charge application fee. After applying on the Portal there is a Campus France administration fee to pay before your documents are sent to the different schools which is N50,000.

Really I appreciate.
Good to hear they pay on installments too.

One more thing this differentiated payment of a thing, can you throw more light on it please.

Maybe it can help me to understand the true nature of their tuition fees, because I have seen €230+ for masters and at some point €3.7k+ for masters too. (All in public schools) so which is it really?

Already mentioned it on the thread that all public schools in France charged 243 Euros until recently the government raised it to €3770 for international students. Some schools decided to waive it and still charge the old price.

@FrenchXpert
Thanks for the info so far.
I have few more questions tho.

1. When are students expected to pay school fees? Before visa application or on arrival to France and start of study program.

2. The €615 per month. What is the actual amount expected to be seen in my account as a self funding student.

3. From the 2nd Question: Does this proof of funding cover the tuition fees for a year or it's different and the school fees are different too.

Please anybody can take on any Question. I appreciate

1. Public schools you can pay when you get there. For private schools you will be expected to pay full or part for visa processing.

2. The money expected in your account is 615 euros times 12.

3. Tbh the only requirement that was stated as proof of funds is the 615 (blocked or personal). Because some schools take 3 to 6 Installments I don’t know how that works at the Visa level. The school fees is not part of the 615 that’s only the average cost of living in France as a student.

Building physical businesses in Nigeria no longer hold water, not in this economy. Only existing companies will withstand what has come and is coming for Nigeria. The advice I would give most graduates is to learn a skill that is indispensable and build experience. Check out these western countries seriously looking for skilled trade workers. Even jobs with good pay, if it doesn't come with indispensable skill and experience, you shouldn't feel secure. I am talking deep knowledge and skills in IT (cannot be overemphasized), repairs, International languages, beauty, photography, technical writing, culinary, farming other tangible skills.

Good luck to you OP.
