*I THINK EVERY NIGERIAN THAT LOVES NIGERIA OUGHT TO READ THIS WITH PATIENCE.*
Author: *Anonymous*
The biggest country in Africa that the United Kingdom colonized is Nigeria.
The biggest country that the United Kingdom colonized in Asia is India (which then comprised the present Pakistan and Bangladesh).
When the UK came into Nigeria and India, like all other countries they colonized, they brought along their technology, religion (Christianity), and culture: names, dressing, food, language, etc.
Try as hard as the British did, India rejected the British religion, names, dressing, food, and even language, but they did not reject the British technology.
Today, 80.5% of Indians are Hindus; 13.4% Muslims; 2.3% Christians; 1.9% Sikhs; 0.8% Buddhists, etc.
Hindi is the official language of the government of India, but English is used extensively in business and administration and has the status of a “subsidiary official language.”
It is rare to find an Indian with an English name or dressed in suit.
On the other hand, Nigeria embraced, to a large extent, the British religion, British culture – names, dressing, foods, and language – but rejected the British technology.
The difference between the Nigerian and the Indian experiences is that while India is proud of its heritage, Nigeria takes little pride in its heritage, a situation that has affected the nationalism of Nigerians and our development as a nation.
Before the advent of Christianity, the Arabs had brought Islam into Nigeria through the North.
Islam also wiped away much of the culture of Northern Nigeria.
Today, the North has only Sharia Courts but no Customary Courts.
So from the North to the South of Nigeria, the Western World and the Eastern World have shaped our lives to be like theirs and we have lost much or all of our identity.
Long after the British and Arabs left Nigeria, Nigeria has waxed strong in religion to the extent that Nigerians now set up religious branches of their home-grown churches in Europe, the Americas, Asia and other African countries.
Just like the Whites brought the gospel to us, Nigerians now take the gospel back to the Whites.
In Islam, we are also very vibrant to the extent that if there is a blasphemous comment against Islam in Denmark or the US, even if there is no violent reaction in Saudi Arabia, the Islamic headquarters of the world, there will be loss of lives and destruction of property in Nigeria.
If the United Arab Emirates, a country with 75% Muslims, is erecting the tallest building in the world and encouraging the world to come and invest in its country by providing a friendly environment, Boko Haram ensures that the economy of the North (and by extension that of Nigeria) is crippled with bombs and bullets unless every Nigerian converts to Boko Haram’s brand of Islam.
In the East we have IPOB wrecking havoc.
While in the South - South region, Mend, Avengers and so on destroying the Heart of our Nations Economy.
We are indeed a very religious people.
Meanwhile, while we are building the biggest churches and mosques, the Indians, South Africans, Chinese, Europeans and Americans have taken over our key markets: telecoms, satellite TV, multinationals, banking, oil and gas, automobile, aviation, shopping malls, hospitality, etc.
Ironically, despite our exploits in religion, we are a people with little godliness, a people without scruples.
It is rare to do business with a Nigerian pastor, deacon, knight, elder, brother, sister, imam, mullah, mallam, alhaji or alhaja without the person laying landmines of bribes and deception on your path.
We call it PR, facilitation fee, processing fee, transport money, financial engineering, deal, or whatever.
But if it does not change hands, nothing gets done.
And when it is amassed, we say it is “God’s blessings.”
Some people assume that sleaze is a problem of public functionaries, but the private sector seems to be worse than the public sector these days.
One would have assumed that the more churches and mosques that spring up in every nook and cranny of Nigeria, the higher the morals in our society.
But it is not so.
The situation is that the more religious we get, the baser we become.
Our land never knew the type of bloodshed experienced from religious extremists, political desperadoes, ritual killers, armed robbers, kidnappers, internet scammers, university cultists, and lynch mobs.
Life has become so cheap and brutish that everyday seems to be a bonanza.
We import the petroleum that we have in abundance, rice and beans that our land can produce in abundance, and even toothpicks that primary school children can produce with little or no effort.
Yet we drive the best of cars and live in the best of edifices, visit the best places in the world for holidays and use the most expensive electronic and telecoms gadgets.
It is now a sign of poverty for a Nigerian to ride a saloon car. Four-wheel drive is it!
Even government officials, who were known to use only Peugeot cars as official cars as a sign of modesty, have upgraded to Toyota Prado, without any iota of shame, in a country where about 70 per cent live below poverty.
Private jets have become as common as cars.
A nation that imports toothpicks and pins, flaunts wealth and wallows in ostentation at a time its children are trooping to Ghana, South Africa and the UK for university education and its sick people are running to India for treatment.
India produces automobile and exports it to the world. India’s medical care is second to none, with even Americans and Europeans travelling to the country for medical treatment.
India has joined the nuclear powers. India has launched a successful mission to the moon.
Yet bicycles and tricycles are common sights in India. But in Nigeria, only the wretched of the earth ride bicycles.
I have intentionally chosen to compare Nigeria with India rather than China, South Korea, Brazil, Malaysia, or Singapore, because of the similarities between India and Nigeria. But these countries were not as promising as Nigeria at the time of our independence.
Some would say that our undoing is our size: the 2012 United Nations estimate puts Nigeria’s population at 166 million, while India has a population of about a billion.
Some would blame it on the multiplicity of ethnic groups: we have 250 ethnic groups; India has more than 2000 ethnic groups.
Some would hang it on the diversity in religion: we have two major religions – Christianity and Islam; but India has many.
Some would say it is because we are young as an independent nation: we have 56 years of independence; India has 65 years, while apartheid ended in South Africa only in 1994.
I am a Muslim, and nothing can change me from practicing Islam.
But I think that our country is daily sinking into religiosity to the detriment of godliness. Our land is sick and needs healing. “If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves, and pray and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land” is still a saying that is germane to our current situation.
We need more godliness than religion; more work and less hope; and more action and less words.
Let everyone tidy up his or her corner first and demand fervently that our leaders tidy their areas of governance. Our nation is degenerating at a fast pace and we need to save it now.
We as a people must positively change our attitude towards our Dear country now. #copied
kennyosein: A guide for non-Muslims, school teachers and students – Excellent!
Student: “Peace be upon you.”
Imam: “And peace be upon you and God’s mercy.”
Student: “What is Islam? And what is a Muslim?”
Imam: “Islam is the religion which was revealed to all of the prophets of God. Islam is to submit to God by worshipping Him alone without partners, to obey His commandments and to keep away from all forms of polytheism. A Muslim is a person who follows the Islamic faith.”
Student: “What are the sources of the Islamic religion?”
Imam: “The sources of Islam are two: 1. The Qur’an which is the book that was revealed to Prophet Muhammad (may the peace and blessings of God be upon him). It is considered by all Muslims to be the actual spoken word of God which he communicated to mankind by revelation to his chosen Prophet, Muhammad. 2. The Sunnah which is the Prophetic tradition or path. This refers to the Prophet’s speech, actions, silent approvals, outward appearance and character that was observed by his companions, written down and passed on generation after generation in written form and oral tradition. This body of literature is often referred to as Hadith. Muslims do not worship Prophet Muhammad in any form whatsoever.”
Student: “Who is Allah?”
Imam: “Allah is God Almighty. It is an Arabic word that means: The God who alone is deserving of being worshipped.”
Student: “Who are the prophets of Islam?”
Imam: “The prophets of Islam are the same as the prophets of the Jews and the Christians whom we refer to as ‘The People of the Book’. The Muslims also believe in a final prophet that was born in Mecca in 570CE, whose name was Muhammad. So Muslims believe in all of the prophets of God such as Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus and Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon them all). Muslims believe they were all sent to instruct the people to worship God alone, to obey Him, to do righteous deeds and to shun idolatry. So there is a shared tradition between these three religions in that they believe in many of the same prophets and in the revealed scriptures.”
Student: “How should a Muslim behave around non-Muslims?”
Imam: “God and His prophet have instructed the believers to treat people with kindness and with the best of manners. God said: “God does not forbid you to deal justly and kindly with those who did not fight against you on account of Religion and did not drive you out of your homes. Verily, God loves those who deal with equity.” (Qur’an 60: A disciple of the Prophet Muhammad called Ibn Abbas said: “Respond to the greeting of peace from a Jew, a Christian, or a Magian because God has said: “And when you are greeted with a salutation of peace, then greet in response with one better than it or at least the same as it.” Another disciple, Ibn Mas’ood would greet the non-Muslims by waving at them. (Ref: Adab al-Mufrad of Bukhari). Muslims must be truthful, honest, caring, charitable and neighbourly towards Muslims and non-Muslims alike. A disciple of the Prophet, Abdullah Ibn Amr cooked a goat and said to his servant: “Have you sent some to our Jewish neighbour yet? I heard God’s Messenger say: ‘Angel Gabriel did not cease to exhort me concerning the neighbour until I began to think he would inherit from me!'” (Ref: Bukhari) When the Prophet and his disciples were in Mecca being oppressed and treated badly by the pagan tribes, he made mention of a Christian Abyssinian King about whom he said: “If only you were to leave out and go to the land of Abyssinia, for indeed there is a king there who does not oppress anyone.” (Ref: Biography of the Prophet by Ibn Hisham). So this type of friendly interaction between the Muslims and non-Muslims leads to people having good thoughts about God, Islam, the Prophet Muhammad and his disciples which in turn leads to a greater understanding of the Muslim faith. The great Muslim scholar Ibn Uthaimin said: “Look how many people there are who first entered into Islam because of the fine conduct of the Muslims, their truthfulness and honesty in their transactions.”
Student: “We see Islam and terrorism often mentioned together these days. So what does Islam say about terrorism?”
Imam: “Islam forbids all forms of terrorist activity. There are however some extreme factions of people who, in the name of Islam, terrorise both Muslims and non-Muslims alike. The most well-known of these militant groups are Al-Qaeda and ISIS in Syria and Iraq. These terrorist groups are called Khawarij in Islamic terminology because the term refers to those who rebel against Islam and the Muslims. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) foretold their appearance and instructed the Muslims to stay away from them, and to defend themselves if they attack them. They first rebelled against the Prophet’s disciples in the time of the fourth Caliph, Ali, killing some of the finest companions of the Prophet Muhammad.”
Student: “So why do these militant Khawarij look upon the rest of humankind and see them as worthless who can be killed without mercy and compassion?”
Imam: “Because they believe they are the only ones left with any true faith in God, and everyone else besides them is an infidel, or an apostate whose life has no value. They see themselves as God’s chosen people who must punish all the “enemies of God”, cleanse the earth by the mass killing of Muslims and non-Muslims alike. That is why they can stroll down a street and open fire on every man, woman and child in sight without a second thought or any compassion. One of their leaders openly claimed: “Today the whole of the world is a land of unbelievers, even Mecca and Madinah.” These Khawarij are merciless killers who have no compassion, they kill innocent, unarmed civilians without any regard for life. They do not judge by God’s Laws; they are a law unto themselves and they have no religion except that which they have invented for themselves; they murder Muslims and non-Muslims indiscriminately. They burn Muslims alive in cages, and then claim piety for themselves! And you have heard this yourself from the actions of ISIS. The Prophet said: “No one punishes with fire except the Lord of the fire.” (Ref: Abu Dawud) The Khawārij are people who have no mercy, so they will not be shown mercy, just as the Prophet Muhammad said: “Whoever does not show mercy to people, Allāh will not show mercy to him.” (Ref: Muslim)”
Student: “What are the signs of radicalisation that I can spot in others so I can avoid it and advise them?”
Imam: “There are certain signs and signals that you can see in someone who’s trying to radicalize others. Let me list a few of the clearest signs of an extremist: 1) He will constantly focus upon the political situation of the Muslim regimes in the Middle-East, and make that the centre-point of his discussion as if it is the most important affair in Islam. 2) He will abuse the Muslim rulers declaring them to be unbelievers and apostates; and then justify violent revolution in Muslim countries under the banner of “judgement is for Allāh!” A phrase misappropriated by the extremists and misused. 3) He will praise the leaders of extremist ideologies such as Sayyid Qutb (died 1966). Qutb is revered by extremists all around the world from Ibn Laden to Anwar Al-Awlaki. He was a prominent leader of the Egyptian group, The Muslim Brotherhood. His writings are widespread and translated into dozens of languages including English. The US-born Yemeni terrorist, Anwar Al-Awlaki once boasted that he was so immersed in the writings of Sayyid Qutb that he felt the presence of Qutb with him in his prison cell! 4) He will declare all Muslims who contradict his political world-view as unbelievers. 5) He will quite often glorify the acts of violence perpetrated by terrorists whether it be suicide bombings, beheading of hostages, killing of non-Muslims, kidnappings, etc. You will not hear condemnation of violent extremism or its figureheads from him.”
Student: “If I see Muslim women in hijab or men with beards who pray, should I be worried? Will they try and recruit me?”
Imam: “Not at all. Muslims are commanded to dress modestly and pray five times a day, spend in charity, fast in Ramadan and do righteous deeds. So when you see Muslim women in hijab, men wearing long shirts and growing beards, do not take these as signs of extremism. You should never confuse orthodox Islam with extremism. Many learned practising Muslims are the most vocal in opposing terrorism. Eating halal meat, praying five times a day, growing a beard and wearing a hijab are not signs of extremism! We need to beware of the methods the extremists employ to try and recruit Muslim teenagers, both boys and girls. I am sure you’ve heard of cases where teenagers have run away from home to join ISIS, leaving their families behind. They were groomed on the internet by extremists who convinced them to hide their true intentions and their radical beliefs; to lie to their parents, relatives and teachers, and eventually run away from home. This is haram (forbidden) in Islam because it involves deception, causes heart-ache to loved ones – and of course joining a militant group opposes the Islamic faith. The Prophet would not allow people to run away and leave their parents behind in tears. You must not be deceived by the videos and speeches of ISIS because they are very skilful manipulators of the truth who can easily convince people by their misinterpretation of Islam. That is why many young people who fell into their web of deceit and left their homes fell into regret later on and are now stuck thousands of miles away in a war zone where people are killing each other daily.”
Student: “What can I do if I know someone is trying to invite me to join ISIS or other extremist groups, or even planning a terrorist attack?”
Imam: “You must tell someone you trust; tell a parent and a teacher, or the police. It is a duty in Islam to stamp out terrorism. The Prophet (may the peace and blessings of God be upon him) said: “There are no people amongst whom sins are committed and they are stronger than those who commit them yet they do not prevent them except that God will punish all of them” So when you know someone is about to commit a crime, you cannot stand by and let that happen. Allah and His Prophet have instructed us to help stop criminal acts.
Student: “So what does Islam say about Jihad?”
Imam: “Jihād in Islām is of various types. It is to strive in God’s cause; and this begins with striving against one’s soul in obedience to God; to learn Islam correctly from the right sources; to act upon what you have learned; and to teach that to others with patience, even if you suffer hardship in that path. So this is Jihad as the great scholar of the middle-ages Ibn Al-Qayyim (died 752AH) stated. And from the types of Jihad is war upon the battlefield in a conventional and strictly legitimate war. An example of a legitimate declaration of war was the first Gulf War in 1990-91 after Kuwait was invaded by the Iraqi army under the leadership of Saddam Hussein. So Saudi Arabia defended its borders by the use of its recruited army in an alliance with other countries. The following are some of the important principles and guidelines of Jihad as agreed upon by the Muslim scholars: A) War is declared by leaders who have legitimate governments and not by individual citizens, or terrorists, or insurgents, or preachers, or through social media! B) This war must be for a just cause, in obedience to God, and for His worship. C) Civilians cannot be killed or harmed in conflict and war. This includes securing the safety of all civilians: women, children, monks, emissaries, teachers, nurses, doctors, aid workers and so on. The claim of terrorists that all non-Muslims [and even Muslims who disagree with them] are legitimate targets goes against Islamic teachings. D) One does not fight for personal gain, or tribalism, or to steal wealth, or for political partisanship, or to rape and pillage, or for repute, fame and adventure. The terrorists obligate what they call jihad in any situation and have thus hijacked the term. They fight without a legitimate rulership, they kill those whom it is not permitted to kill, Muslims and non-Muslims alike; they plant bombs in civilian areas; they kill themselves in suicide bombings, which is forbidden. They murder those whom the rulers have invited into Muslim countries under the guarantee of security and safety. So what they partake in cannot be considered as Jihad in any sense of the word.”
Student: “Thank you Imam for your time and may God’s peace be upon you.”
Imam: “It has been my pleasure – and may the peace of God and His Mercy be upon you.”
I have used like 4 techno phones , with this camon C9 pro being the last techno phone I ll use. The quality of their phone sucks, RAM and battery capacity is always low. I prefer gionee

But to cut the story short, when having a salat in a congregation and the imam start with a surah with long verse i normally concentrate at first by repeating the verse in my mind. But along the way, its start wavering. And likely to lose concentration. [may Almighty Allah forgive me of my sins] thats a problem to me, so i resort to praying alone.
Brother, Resort to praying alone? Abaaaaa dats not even an option. I'll advice you concentrate on looking at the spot of prostration, May Allah forgive our short comings

I am creating this thread because I feel like we can make this section of Nairaland more active and interactive. I would like everyone to post a reminder (Quranic verse, surah, or hadith) that you feel will be beneficial to someone else.
Remember that the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “Convey from me, even if it is a verse" ( Saheeh al-Bukhaari 3461), and “Whoever calls people to right guidance will have a reward like that of those who follow him, without it detracting from their reward in the slightest, and whoever calls people to misguidance will have a burden of sin like that of those who follow him, without it detracting from their burden in the slightest.” (Narrated by Muslim, 2674)

Do these apps actually do what they boast of doing?

MakeWeTalk: THE MOST GLARING DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ISLAM & CHRISTIANITY IS HOW THEY TREAT THEIR WIVES
ISLAM COMMANDS YOU TO BEAT YOUR WIFE
Qur'an (38:44) - "And take in your hand a green branch AND BEAT HER WITH IT,
Qur'an (4:34) - "Men are the maintainers of women because Allah has made some of them to ....... BEAT THEM;
THE CHRISTIAN GOD COMMANDS TO LOVE YOUR WIFE
Ephesians 5:25 (KJV) Husbands, LOVE YOUR WIVES, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;
Colossians 3:19 Husbands, LOVE YOUR WIVES, and BE NOT BITTER AGAINST THEM.
IN FACT IN CHRISTIANITY IF YOU BEAT YOUR WIFE, YOUR PRAYERS ARE STOPPED
1 Peter 3:7 Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered.
WHEN IMAMS TEACH TO BEAT YOUR WIVES DOES IT HELP ISLAMIC PRAYERS?
THE BEATING OF MY MUM BY MY DAD IS WHY I LEFT ISLAM. MY DAD SAID IT'S ISLAMIC, SO HE HAS HE RIGHT TO BEAT MY MUM.
SO MY MUM SAID SHE WILL NEVER LET ANY OF MY SISTERS MARRY A MUSLIM.
THAT JESUS COMMANDS TO LOVE NOT BEAT YOUR WIFE
May Allah guide you back aright, Alquran is not a book that one understands without the teaching of an Alim (a knowledgeable) thru the teaching of the prophet, it sounds as if you believe xtians don't beat their partners, that aside in Islam it is wrong to harm ones partner, one is not even allowed to leave marks on her for whatsoever reason..I advise you read tafsir on the verses you quoted. Allahu Musta'al.
Madu100t: May thunger fire glo and all their engnrs, slow browsing network, bought N1000 data for 2GB, almost a week, I can't enjoy 30sec browsing wtout failure to to up after an hr, have called dia 444 for almost 3 days to no avail and u are busy coming up wt new stupid tariff. I ll dump ur ass after this my sub for u suck
Walahi we won't know u left....u won't be missed, when people complain abt network I just wonder if this subscriptions are done in the 7th earth...imagine! !! With the inflow of customers I still use more than 1mb per sec or slightly less sometimes. ..chai a beg leave already joor
razortruth: Even if they like, let them introduce glo stew plan, I won't be interested. A situation where you hardly use 200mb out of the so called 10gb in glo network before it expires due to snail network problem is absolute nonsensical
Guy get a 3g fone. ..I finish my data in few days after subscription. ..its super fast
thetruthmale: So, I have decided to let the world know my plight and, that of my fellow helpless, confused, sometimes tired and, confused student.
What you are about to read are nothing but the truth but, I will propose means to verify my claims.
This short essay will gives insight into the unfair treatment meted out to helpless student of ...UNILORIN in general and my department in particular.
UNILORIN: 1. Tablet pc: Since 2013 first year students are been mandated to pay extravagant fees, about N25,000 of that money is reported to be for the acquisition of android tab. Sadly, they are substandard, any student will readily attest to how sub-standard these tabs are, only a meager number of students use theirs beyond a semester because it develops faults easily, the calibration always has fault, in fact, mine developed fault just lying on the ground. Also, the 'mass' production of a tab that substandard should be not more than N10,000 but, unfortunately we are charged an exorbitant fee of 150% extra. Currently, the freshers and some 200L students are yet to receive the tabs. Bear in mind that the money for the tabs have been paid for with the school fees, also bear in mind that the purpose of the tab was to 'aid' learning and we are already having second semester exams.
2. Wifi and Sweatshirts: At the resumption of the 2015/16 session students were compelled to pay N5,000 and N2,500 for Wifi and sweatshirt respectively. Social sciences didn't get the Wifi infrastructure till the second semester. For the sweatshirts... there was an uproar in school over how substandard the sweatshirts were, just wash them for about three times and they will fade as if you have been using them for over two years. As at the time of writing this, only the 100L and final year students have received their sweatshirts. Those sweatshirts will take nothing more than N1000-N1200 to produce, but then we paid N2,500.
FACULTY OF SOCIAL SCIENCES (MY DEPT): 1. Sexual harassment and paying for results: By now some of you must have heard about a Dr. Idiagbon of the Faculty of Arts that sexually harassed a female student. Breaking News! THERE ARE MORE!!! like him in Social sciences. I have first hand knowledge and information about sexual harassment in my department (For now, I will not mention names of Lecturers or department). I also have first hand experience of a lecturer collecting money for results. These people are my 'friends' and fellow students and, that's why I've decided not to name names. My problem with these acts is that the lecturers automatically makes foes of those students that wouldn't act obsequiously. I and some other diligent students have been dealt by this. In the 2014/15 session a certain lecturer even after facing allegations of bribery and other offences eluded judgement because he has 'legs.' Students don't talk publicly or call for results because of the fear of victimisation. Well, I know students that paid bribes, female students that were favoured, and student who were treated badly. Hmm, still not calling names.
UNILORIN' ROLE IN VERIFYING MY CLAIMS AND CURBING THIS MENACE: 1. Carry out a survey among students (students must be anonymous), survey should be directed towards (i) knowing students who have been harassed or knows somebody who has, (ii) knowing lecturers who are involved etc. If these lecturers perceive that they are being watched, they will behave. 2. Create a body or mechanism where complaints like this can be lodged anonymously so students don't suffer the repercussion. 3. Give us goods worth our money. 4. Students shouldn't be mandated to pay for tablets, the country is tough enough.
This is the cry of so many students feeling helpless. Please EPP US! NB: I've good grades, but my grievance is that it should have been better if not for lecturer-impunity. Written sociology faculty courses are good examples of mindless allocation of marks. Even if nothing is done about the past, at least, something should be done to curb further occurrence. UNILORIN 'Probitas Doctrinas (In learning and in character)' shouldn't be limited to students alone.
when did we get here? Unilorin my pride under the leadership of Oloyede. ..A man of respect!! imagine all this nonsense now, for sure we know that SUG Is a figurehead but I think something has to be done
Contact17: There is only three instances where people should be killed 1) A person who murdered someone intentionally 2) An person who commits adultery 3) An apostate
correct! !! gbam! If they like agree if you like don't, it's the law!! POC it's someone who is married that commit adultery. ..
Let assume one of ur siblings change religion, will u kill him or her?
No he wouldn't kill him, he wil km be taking to a Qadi (a judge in sharia court)and he will be convinced and examined after every benefit of doubt the court will pass the judgement
Ask him ooo, sheikh Agege sometimes ago laid emphasis on some these hadith quotations that there are some wrong ones which we all know prophet cannot say, people are shouting here and there that he doesn't knw what he is saying, so, in a case where God says and prophet says to Sahih Buhari says, please which one do we count as authentic?
Subhanallah, if not for the oath, I would have asked if you are a Muslim, can you tell me where you can get what the prophet said and also tell me why the quran was sent to Rasulullah (peace be upon him) not to everybody to interpret? Please kindly fine more knowledge may Allah enrich you
You don't need to believe if , it is Shariah and it's not humanly written. but definitely you believe capital punishment for treason? May Allah increase our knowledge and may He accept our ibadah during Ramadan and hereafter
There shall be no compulsion in [acceptance of] the religion. The right course has become clear from the wrong. So whoever disbelieves in Taghut and believes in Allah has grasped the most trustworthy handhold with no break in it. And Allah is Hearing and Knowing.
Quran 109*:1-6 Say, "O disbelievers, I do not worship what you worship. Nor are you worshippers of what I worship. Nor will I be a worshipper of what you worship. Nor will you be worshippers of what I worship. For you is your religion, and for me is my religion."
Are you sure you are fit to answer the question? Your quotes are so off radar....abaa brother
midolian: ifa hear! Saraki is not Cameron and can never be. Saraki is there to serve our interests, Cameron was their for personal interest. This is the difference.
Plus Saraki is being witch-hunted. Tell tinubu and Buhari to leave him alone.
In particular Our son Senator Ike Ekweremadu is occupying the highest political office in the South East and not be unduly humiliated and embarrassed by this recurring antics. We shall no longer take this lightly. We shall mobilize other like groups all over the country to resist the tyrannisation of democracy in our country.
it's so unfortunate that no drug can cure your stupidity, no offense Bro, imagine one day you'll call urself a father....plus don't pass dis trait on
9inches: The op is saving people's lives from abject poverty and some holier than thou folks here are condemning his career path while upholding his dad's.
I don't know what to tell people sef.
My broda i'm youll say the same if it were to be the case of prostitute but fear Allah in your judgements, there is no reason to condem the op, islam is a religion of knowledge and not a religion of Logic. as for op, the scholars says if no female surgeon is available then your dad operations are valid and may he be rewarded for saving lives, but for yours walahi its undoubtfully not acceptable not to talk of seeing unclad.....Wallahu aalam
Topestbilly: ..... in my opinion I think u need to stop d project for the time being even if Ramadan is not involved such project is not godly but one wil not eat sand na.
God knows best
Subhanallah!! subhanallah! fear Allah in your judgement.Well for the OP . For the sake of hereafter stop it even after ramadan with the intention of pleasing Allah and in shaa Allah you'll have the cause to praise Allah.
spunky16: Hmmm this is very terrible, like seriously. My opinion is, they should give this child a forever sleeping injection, how are they sure he will survive this shit? And meanwhile d country is too broke to waste 3milion on a child whose future no body knows..especially being from Borno state. Or are the parent looking for d fruit of d womb? Must it be this very child? Hmmm Mrs Buhari think twice!!
Does the f indicating you are a girl means foolishness! imagine this coming out from ur disgusting mind! I pity who you go marry

25Feb, 2015: APC Senators Praise Jonathan, Military Senator Maina Lawan(APC Borno) led the praise
"It is only fair Mr. President that this time around, when there is some cheering news, I should mention this to this Senate. I want to say that several territories hitherto inaccessible to Nigerian authorities have been liberated; Mongno which is a high military zone housing a whole brigade of the Nigerian Army has been liberated. Baga my home town has been liberated; the effort is ongoing and I think it is only fair that no matter what is left, it is important that we appreciate what is being done and I want to say that our troops are much more up and doing and we appreciate that effort. We ask them to do more so that in the areas they have liberated, mopping up is concluded for the communities to go back.” 24 Feb 2015: APC Blasted Jonathan Again Rather than praise the President and The Army(like others were doing), the APC that has never hidden their stand against the use of force by the Army suddenly did a U-turn to praise the Army(hypocritically) but again lambasted the President, and went political. In the words of Lai Muhammed:
”Is it not curious that the same President who has stood by while Boko Haram decimates a whole section of the country over the past six years has suddenly realized there is something he could do to crush the sect in six weeks? Is it not curious that a military that has been globally acknowledged for its successes in peacekeeping at regional and international levels has suddenly found itself unable to tackle a band of criminals? Is it not curious that the necessary fighting equipment that have not been made available to the military, despite the injection of over 32 billion US dollars into the defence and security sector since 2008, have suddenly become available? President Jonathan, who is also the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, must take responsibility for the monumental cost, whether of his incompetence or his political strategy-gone-awry or both, apologize to the nation and immediately back down from seeking re-election. The President must not be allowed to profit from an error of judgement that has cost 15,000 lives, forced over 3 million out of their homes and cost the taxpayers 32.88 billion US dollars,” APC said.
