Can i PM you as well...need more explanations on this.

If you already in Canada, you don't need to stress yourself. Just go to the boarder and get the permit. Or is it for your spouse in nigeria?

Hi guys its been a while. just said let me drop an update, my friend came to meet his wife in Canada with his visitor visa and flagpoled to convert to open-work permit just this Monday. So in-case you are looking for a recent example of flagpoling still being in use. here you have it. Have a nice day and may God assist us all.

Limit is 3k USD you have a total of about 10k USD per year as upkeep.

Admission letter
Study permit
Passport page
Enrollment
ID Card

Not so sure about applying through multiple banks at the same time.

Many thanks for this.
Is this 3k USD or CAD limit? Is the limit per month, quarter?
What supporting documents do I attach?
Can I apply through more than one bank?
Sorry for the multiple questions… :-)

You can use Access Bank…fill the Form A (Trade System) online. Your Canada bank details as the beneficiary, make sure you select CAD not USD, include all relevant documents with a letter of instruction to debit. The process takes about 3-4 weeks and you are allowed to do a maximum of 3k USD

Greetings All!

Please I would really appreciate anyone who can give me guidance on how to obtain CAD/USD through CBN/bank so I can pay my rent. Buying at black market rate is really, really, really burning holes in my pocket.
Please advise based on your direct experience with the name of the bank and how much they allow one apply for+ how long it takes.

God bless.
