I don't even know where to start from. 1. The lagos state government can't not be seen managing a case he lost, he would be partial. 2. Lagos state government is a party to the case and judgment delivered, so it will be wrong for the losing party to be the one to interpret the judgment... leave that to the police. 3. You took people's property by force and want to go give them places they don't want after 20 years. Why not relocate the current occupant of magodo to badagry or ibeju lekki and give back the land to the rightful owner. 4. The judgement was very simple, the original land owner have the right of first refusal. They decide where they want. And they said its the magodo they want, just give them their land na, and relocate the current occupant. is it that difficult? 5. Lastly for you that is supporting the lagos state government and the illegal occupying landlord of magodo, if your father's land was forcefully taken from him and given to another hope you will have this same energy to defend those that stole your father's land. 9 Likes |
Politics / Re: Detained Security Guards, Widow Didn’t Deny CP Entry,Lagos Estate Tackles Police by getemail: 12:07am On Jan 04, 2022 |
Benwems: Don't mind them, Nigerians just like to claim unnecessary rights. The roads, streets, street light in the estate or anywhere else belongs to the government. The estate is a small section of the public making it a public area. The security guard was just silly to have stopped the number 1 security guard of the state on what ever excuse. The cp was on his official car, and official escorts yet they are claiming he came for owambe... even at that who decides when the cp is on official duty or not. The cp can decide to be on duty even inside his own toilet. Security is a 24/7 job... and the guard is silly for putting the number 1 security officer of the state in potential danger. 2 Likes |

Daboomb: Lol you make me laugh Did they buy the property in the name of Associatio of residents? Very soon LCDA landlord will also form association and claim silly right. The roads in the estate, street, street light all belongs to the government. Again, the cp is always on official duty even at owambe... He was with his official car, official escorts yet its you who want to decide if he is on official visit or not. The guard was just very silly to delay and put the chief security officer of the state in potential danger So that I won't repeat what I have said before I will tag you to my comment on this issue 1 Like |

JohnBullMySon: Who decides when it's official and non official... he was in his official car, official escorts yet you say he is not on official. Again who decides that? The cp is always on duty 24/7. Again, an estate is a public property and not a government property... the estate property is owned by a small section of the public..., therefore its a public property and not government. All roads, street light, street, either in an estate or not belongs to the government. And in this case the cp was on a road, and no stupid guard has the right to stop and question him for he is the number one guard. Cc: Daboomb 1 Like |

JohnBullMySon: Yes they are co owned by private individuals and that makes it a bit of public... take for instance... private company stock traded on Nigerian stock exchange. It is controlled and regulated by government, the companies are also regulated by government. Just the way CBN can decide on the chairman of a bank. So you see, even though they are private, government gets involved. Another scenario, if police is chasing after criminals, so the security at magodo gate will be asking stupid questions and delay them for 30min? Lastly the silly security guard disrespected the office of lagos top security chief, that's unacceptable. The security they claim to be doing doesn't get higher than the commission of police.
