A female Nigerian Corper, Progress Oberiko, has taken to social media to share a heartrending story of family of five suffering from mental illness in Cross River State.

The beautiful corp member who is also observing her service year in the state, said she has never seen such in her entire life.

The squabbles between former president Olusegun Obasanjo and his former vice president Atiku Abubakar has finally come to an end after a peace meeting initiated by the later held at the Olusegun Obasanjo’s Presidential Library Complex on Thursday.

The meeting which recorded a huge success, were attended by Bishop David Oyedepo of the Living Faith Church, Bishop Matthew Kukah of the Catholic Diocese of Sokoto and Islamic cleric, Ahmed Gumi among others.

Obasanjo who earlier made a vow never to support Atiku achieve his president seems to have buried the hatchet.

Addressing journalists after the meeting, the former leader sasi he has forgiven Atiku as he (Atiku) has shown remorse.

He said; “From what transpired in the last couple of hours or so, you have shown remorse; you have asked for forgiveness and you have indicated that you have learnt some good lessons and you will mend fences and make amends as necessary and as desirable.”

“Whenever or wherever you might have offended me, as a Christian who asks for God’s forgiveness of my sins and inadequacies on a daily basis, I forgive and I sincerely advise you to learn from the past and do what is right and it will be well with you.”

Going further, the ex-president expressed hope that Atiku will perform better than the incumbent president, Muhammadu Buhari. This is as he disclosed that Atiku is more exposed, more accessible and understands economy more than the Buhari.

“From what I personally know of you, you have the capacity to perform better than the incumbent. You surely understand the economy better; you have business experience, which can make your administration business-friendly and boost the economy and provide jobs.

“You have better outreach nationally and internationally and that can translate into better management of foreign affairs.

“You are more accessible and less inflexible and more open to all parts of the country in many ways.

“As Pastor Bakare, one-time running mate of the incumbent President said, ‘You are a wazobia man.’

“And that should help you in confronting the ‘confrontable’ and shunning nepotism,” he added.

A generous gentleman has finally reached out to the girl who was drugged and raped by 5 boys.

Recall that few days ago, video clip emerged online showing how five boys took turns in raping their victim.

It was reported that one of the rapist who is a Facebook friend to the victim invited her for outing.

On getting there, the guy in collaboration with his friends, drugged and raped her before sharing the video online.

However, the video which attracted the reactions and condemnation from Nigeria leads to the arrest of those boys.

No fewer than 124 Boko Haram terrorists, were on Wednesday, killed by the Nigerian and Chadian troops.

Seventy six of the terrorists were killed by the Nigerian troops while forty eight were neutralized by Chadian troops.

According to posts on the Nigerian Army Twitter, “seven soldier lost there lives while sixteen were wounded in the action.

“The Chief of army staff, Lt. General Buratai has commiserated with the families of the deceased and directed that the wounded be given adequate medical attention,” it added.

A runs girls has reportedly gone mad after sleeping with a married man.

According to Ezeudo Izubest, a Facebook user who shared the post, the runs girls is fond of that.

It noted that she has been repeatedly warned by her friends to stop mingling with married men but she refused.

The Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB) has lambasted South East leaders and politician for demanding Vice Presidential slot from the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar.

In a statement signed by IPOB’s Media and Publicity Secretary, Emma Powerful, the group maintained its stand for Biafra exit.

IPOB wondered why the leaders of the zone are rejoicing at the emergence of Atiku, who they described as another Fulani Muslim that could posses the murderous tendencies of Fulani herdsmen.

The group pointed out that the same Atiku in collaboration with Obasanjo, Saraki, Kwakwanso and Tambuwal among others, conspired against Jonathan and installed Buhari in 2015.

The Enugu State Police Command has promised to investigate the disappearance of about N3.6 million kept police custody.

The state Commissioner of Police, Mohammed Danmalam, stated this in Enugu state.

Emerging reports has it that a member of Mobile Police Force (MOPOL), attached to a bank in Nsukka was said to have recovered about N8 million from a suspected thief.

However, about N3.6 million out of the money which is still in police custody, allegedly went missing.

The founder of ABC Transport and governorship aspirant of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in Imo State, Mr Frank Nneji, has lamented over the party’s decision to put forward Senator Ifeanyi Ararume as the winner of its guber primaries.

The party’s primary which were slated for 5th of October, were later shifted to 6th but yet could not hold.

It was gathered that about 10pm on October 7, the primaries held at a location different from official venue.

Also, report has it that no other aspirants as well as APGA State and National Officials were in attendance except Sen. Ararume and his supporters.

However, emerging reports suggest that the party has nominated Ararume as it sole candidate.
