Nice concept, now you can add "upvoting"

The sign up method you used has a problem. If I forget my password how do you (admin) help me reset it since no Email was used for Sign Up
it actually started out as just a very simple portfolio project, thats why I intentionally left out the email, then along the line I be like, let me add this, let me add that. thanks I'll be adding more stuff now

Learn UI/UX

I understand you it can very frustrating. I was in this situation a while back, I still am, I'm still no where near good but I'm getting better.

The fact that I had to rely on someone else design(which in most times might not be available) before I code doesn't quite appeal to me, so I get myself to work nd started learning UI/UX using Adobe XD.

This is what I do now, before I start any project, I'll go on dribble, pintrest, behance and other designer's hub, and gather screenshots from designs related to the project, then I'll make my own design in Adobe XD using inspiration I got from those designs. Thank God I'm now getting better in designing.

I also took an online course like dat, though I didn't learn much sef.

The goal is not to be a professional designer but at least to know enough for your own consumption

I'll drop a link to a YouTube video later to get you started

localStorage

p.s. it can only store strings for each key => value pair. So dont forget to JSON stringify and JSON. parse when storing and retreiving or better still
use serialization which is better and more performant than JSON strin/parse

Goodluck
Exactly

Celebrities / Download My Android App On Play Store by glaber: 6:33am On Dec 16, 2020
Kindly download my Android App on play store. Its a news App, where you can get trending Nigerian News. Support me by downloading it and leaving a five star review after downloading it.

its has pretty cool features like a typical news app. It has the following

-Swipe To Refresh: Swipe down from any screen to update the category
-Dark Theme: We value your sight
-News Reader: Sit back while your phone reads the news to your hearing
-Bookmarks: You can bookmark interesting news and articles
-Offline Storage: offline news storage
-Social Shares: Share news to friends on WhatsApp, Facebook and other social Media Platforms
- News are grouped into categories for easy navigation

I'm particularly happy about the news reader, cus I noticed its not on most nigerian news apps.

I'll continue to make it better..

Use the link below to download it on Playstore.

Well somewhat I work for Andela, and also do freelance from home. It really pays but having your business and building something pays much more. So yes it does, but it did after amassing experience and networking with people.
I'm happy for how things eventually turned out for you. But please, what do you mean by "building something"?
