Romance / Re: His Fiancee Of 7yrs Cheated With Her Ex For 4 Months by globatop: 3:05pm On Nov 20, 2009
I quite respect the veiws of the female contributors, but mere confessing does not signify that this lady has any conscience, conscience mean regret immediately an act (BAD) is performed. If she has enjoyed her Ex for 4 good months, what that means is that the Ex has a very strong hold on her, and I can bet she will fall for him again and again unless they dont see face to face.

My advice to the hubby is that this type of problem needs personal appraisal. no forumite can determine the good aspect of this lady, its just you that can do the balancing within urself, but if you decide to go along with the marriage, which is not too bad, but remember it will be on your mind till death.  I too have a secret of my wife(revealed to me after 16yrs of marriage),   I can not tell even my best brother. It is btw me and her family alone.  If you feel taking any action can affect your own life, then marry her with Stern warning not to give u room to suspect her.    GOOD LUCK

Politics / Re: 2011: "PDP Must Win Kano, Lagos’" by globatop: 4:27am On Oct 24, 2009
The list of FOR and AGAINST is a good indication that unless PDP use their method of RIGGING they will never win as much state as they have now in 2011 election and probably loose the centre. Courtesy of Yarsick that has not been able to complete a point out of his 7 point agenda when 75% has been spent

Does anyone experience any limit to their data plans?

Very often, most times am been logged off two weeks before the end of my subscription, claiming I have overshot my download limit. Worse still they will send notification e-mail after u have been disconnected, of what use is that.

They will still start to beg for clients as DOPC is doing now, when GLO-1 become available to every browser.
Computers / Re: Starcomms Izap - Is It Really Fast As Starcomms Claim? by globatop: 10:10pm On Oct 17, 2009
Thanks webgenius, grin
I think the issue is not the modem, because checking the modems data, they have the same specifications. Worse when I try using two lappy.

Family / Re: Wombs For Rent In Nigeria - Is This Greed Or Madness? by globatop: 5:38pm On Oct 17, 2009
Majority of these babies will be used for ritual purposes, and we should stop comparing Nigeria case with that of the west that has genuine reasons and love for such kids.

Agreed, the ladies opt for it due to poverty, person that can dole out #200k and over is he poor.

Pls lets be factual, this is another method of OTOKOTO, except govt are involved and ready to monitor the welfare of those kids, then money ritual is abound everywhere in nigeria.

Few nigerian families will accept adopted babies, it is purely not our culture.

Computers / Re: Starcomms Izap - Is It Really Fast As Starcomms Claim? by globatop: 9:29pm On Oct 16, 2009
@all

Pls stop posting those intimidating download speed, they are not real (in Nigeria), base on what $$Victor$$ posted as regards ZOOM, I purchase a broadband modem from zoom only to have speed below 50kB/s (320kb/s), I have been highly misled.

Quite frustrating to know that their free modem could even be TOKUNBOHused

@fekwenugo2
our culture be it Yoruba/ Ibo or Hausa allows this to happen. We respect the money man, without questioning the source

I did not agree with ur statement above, Nigerians were more honourable before than what is been put across now, we are only seeing the effect of bad governance, pple now look at money bags for succour, will u ask ur brother the source of his money if u have not eaten anything in 3days, govt should try to make basic things available, until then dont expect any credible election in Nigeria QED

Politics / Re: Do You Support A 2 Party System For Nigeria? by globatop: 9:57pm On Oct 10, 2009
Whatever the number of party, if the mindset of Nigerians are not changed, no positive result could come out of the project called Nigeria. A 2 party system could be ok if the opposition will remain a strong, formidable and objective opposition like the UPN in the 1979-1983 regime.

This set of politicians will never remain in opposition, rather they will either cross carpet or compromise their stand for a piece of National cake. e.g Gbenga Daniel will never have been a governor if he had remained with the progressives.

This idea called Nigeria has over stayed its welcome, the agreement of amalgamation of 1914 gave a clause to disintegrate if it does not work after 30yrs. Is it really working, lets go back to our regions or make all state autonomous.
Computers / Re: Visafone Internet Subscribers by globatop: 3:02pm On Oct 07, 2009
U are quite right, the problem has been on for more than 6days, if u call them they will tel u it is network congestion. Am seriously considering switching to another network if there is no improvement b4 the end of my subscription

Politics / Re: Nigeria's Achivements In 49 Years Of Independence? by globatop: 10:58am On Oct 02, 2009
@ Duality:  It is good to be positive or optimistic, but our leader  might not know the effect of their governance on the generality of the masses. If we pretend that things are rosy, then the change could be ellusive.

@Honeyguy:  Thanks for the info, but those countries you refer to have many social infrastructure in place, unlike Nigeria where everyone will run gen, drill borehole to get water, has to be an employer rather been employed.

The problem of our country lies in implementation of LAW. What exactly will change the mindset of any youth when those that has been embezling money or run bad government (since 1960) are still walking the street freely.   Knowing fully well that they have been deprived of their legitimate social ammenities, after fighting tooth and nail to get to power, youth will even do worse.

The EFCC boss once said pple seeking public office should be examined pscharatically, that statement really mean that our present political leaders' sanity is questionable.

Think about that.
Politics / Re: Happy Independence? by globatop: 11:06am On Oct 01, 2009
Nigerian are too gullible, for every woe they shout God, will He come down to act on our behalf, even the so called prophets refuse to confront bad governance, instead they have romance with them. In the whole of old testament no  good prophet have romance with the king.  Our destiny is in our hands, we should confront rigging come 2011

God save us from naija leaders.  Most of these leaders attended free and qualitative education, only to now make education out of reach of the masses. shocked embarassed angry
Business / Re: CBN To Issue N5, N10, And N50 Notes In Polymer Substrate Like The N20 Note by globatop: 9:22pm On Sep 17, 2009
Hmm,

I wonder who has tested this #20 polymer note and confirm that it is better than the old paper money, is it the rich that hardly come in contact with the smaller denomination or the market women that sells commodity below #50 in value, who is in better position to recommend polymer notes.

Polymer notes are worthless, deface easily, torn to shred with time, unacceptable once sellotaped. Good for CBN cause the defaced, and sellotaped never find their way into their vault, hence they dont print replacement, the masses bear the loss.

Please polymer notes are not better, Nigerians should reject it, Nigeria is the only country where Govt dont care about feedback on their policies, either good or bad, once it translates to extra income for pple in Govt.
