Business / Re: Petrol Station Attendants; The New Money Makers by globatop: 3:30pm On Aug 18, 2009
The petrol attendant is not really the issue here.
1. Why dont we ask their employer how much is their salary monthly, way back in 2004, an attendant in one of the popular petrol station in Maryland, was begging me for employment, after questioning him about his present job, he told me he was been paid #2,500 monthly in which he called a witness. Just last week somebody said an attendant said their low pay is as a result of those compolsory tipping you customer are paying.

2. Our Govt can not improve on power supply even if power stations are built in every Local Govt of the federation as long as we still depend on gas or oil from Niger Delta, because they will never stop at their demands, from billions to trillions.- watch it.

3. As small as Ghana is, they dont depend on only one source of energy to power their own power generating stations, but here our leaders are so lazy and monolithic in thinking, most of our legislators are contractors, due to shortage of power, most industries has left Nigeria for Ghana. Yet all these are not enough to gear our legislators into action.

Conclusively, Ghana is now wooing Nigerian industries with free LAnd and 15yrs tax holiday, will those industries employ Nigerians, what percentage of Nigerian graduates will be able to secure job in Nigeria, God forbid, will Nigerian be running back to Ghana the 2nd time?
Politics / Re: Bola Tinubu Barred From Aso Rock by globatop: 4:15pm On Aug 03, 2009
Here are some frightening stats. from your Oduduwa nation:

Jeremiah Obafemi Awolowo: Ex convict
Bola Ahmed Tinubu : Drug baron cum ex convict
Olusegun Aremu Obasanjo: Ex convict
Donaldson Oladipo Diya (the weeping general): Ex convict
Abdulkarim Adisa: Ex convict
Tajudeen Olanrewaju: Ex convict
Moshood K Abiola (ITT, International Thief Thief): Died in Detention!*****

@sunny_bobo

In the whole of ur tribe can anyone match what Awolowo has contributed to this nation, less of this tribal issue, if Tinubu is a baron, can any governor in ur region match 10% of his achiviement in governance despite their okija shrine activities, yoruba race is still the most decent among all tribes of Nigeria, beleive it or not.  Likes of ur tribe are the reasons why Nigerians are humiliated abroad, yet u open ur mouth calling pple baron.  Should Tinubu not entering Aso Rock be issue in Yar Dua mind when all Industrialist are finding their ways to Ghana, a more conducive country for bussiness.

@Morpheus

Yorubas are not as tribalistic as other tribe, you tend to figure out yorubas due to the fact that you are in yoruba land, ever have discussion with Ibo guy, the momemt he hears another Ibo saying -Kedu- he will abandon you, even if you are discussing a milliion Naira biz.

It iritates me to hear any tribe calling yorubas tribalist, how many state is as accomaodating as toruba states, compare Lagos and Oyo state with other Eastern and Northern states in terms of hospitality.

In lagos, Ibos are chiefs, Hausas are leaders in major markets, can that one be allowed in your tribes.

I, a yoruba man has mediated between two neighbours one Ibo and the other Yoruba without been partial, I judged the Ibo man righthly and the yoruba man accepted the judgement, no controversy, it is pple like you that causes tribal war through your tribal sentiment.

You can pass an opinion without been particular about tribes.

Pls Nigeria belongs to us all, lets try as much as possible to be an impartial judge and be fair in all ramitification
Politics / Re: N180,000 Tuition Fees For Nigerian Universities by globatop: 3:33pm On Jul 21, 2009
@A-Town,
Ur veiw on this issue is quite unsympathetic of the masses, or could be you dont read the comment of SSANU's President?, so you are of the opinion that Governors should produce governors while cobbler produces cobbler. I beileve you are one of those that can afford, and dont want compettion for your children, but mark you, you will not be able to face the consequences
Tell me what percentage of nigerian children have enjoyed free education up to secondary school, even if available people dont have confidence in them, the only way the masses can benefit in the country now is been hiked.

its obvious that this country will one day collapse like pack of cards, but b4 then, may God kill all those that are enjoying our wealth
