Lolz

We all can now see the quality of talent Tinubu hunts,
Very confused overhyped corrupt druggie forger.

This one should have started from SSA

I keep saying it Lagos can survive even without a Governor, one year budget of Lagos state is 7times that of Anambra state, but same can be said of the DEVELOPMENT and achievements.

BoldBrainz:

For once, let's be circumspect in our dealings.

In the 3 months Tinubu has been at Aso rock, close to 3 trillion naira has been shared between the three tiers of government. Yet for some ridiculously weird reason, state governors (whether old or newly elected, with exceptions of a few) have done basically nothing to ameliorate the pains and angst being felt by citizens of the country.

There's no Nigerian state that doesn't generate internal revenue. Add that to whatever shares are being gotten from the federal coffers, and there's the need for us to be asking proper questions.

We've all been reading and seeing headlines on a daily basis. Adeleke of Osun, Otti of Abia, Soludo of Anambra, Zulum of Borno, Sanwo-Olu of Lagos, Obaseki of Edo and Umoh of Akwa Ibom, seem to be the only governors who have been making recent efforts at governance and delivering dividends to the masses.

I don't know what the rest of the governors are up to. The sloth in the government house of my Cross River state seems to be the worst in this category. There's literally nothing happening since he assumed office three months ago. I don't live in my state but I get weekly updates as regards happenings and nothing seems to be taking shape.

Tinubu may not be getting everything right, but why does it seem like we're all too centered on the Federal government and neglecting to prod the efficiency of the governors who are closer to us? If I was back home, I'll mobilise a crowd and picket the home of my Local government chairman so the bastard answers some questions. Tinubu cannot deliver governance down to the LGAs. This is basically why democratic governance has to be spread so efforts get to the grassroots.

These things are starting to really irk to the bone marrow!

The chuck of the blame has always been on the President and Tinubu promised to change the narrative via his magical prowess.

Fg receives the higher share of the money and we are yet to see what they have been able to do.

Remember, if fg sneezes, the states and LGs catch cold

I can't take loans to buy machines you give me at 40% interest tenure starts that day... When it would take me 6 months to get machine 1 months to clear and install

I would already be paying interest for money that has not not started making me any money

By 7 months am meant to have paid 82% of the loan I took?

This is exactly what kill industries...

The roads done by Obi in Anambra then, how long did they last - 2years? Even Ngige roads outlast Obis roads. Thank God we dodged a bullet in Obi. He would have been constructing extremely substandard roads yearly.

Do you know any of the roads he did?
If you do, name one please.

And how do you arrive at these figures because the little engineering I know will factor cost, function and environment to determine lifespan.

So, infrastructure has no fixed lifespan just like the cars, trucks, boats, aircraft, people, animals, and substances that use them.

They do and that's the standard

If I had not traveled Nigeria and lived and worked all round Nigeria, I would have believed the satanic manipulations being churned out by some individuals. The massive population, investment and spread of igbos in kaduna , jos , kano maiduguri is talk for another day.

I remember going to Azare somewhere in Bauchi only to hire a welder who happened to be igbo but employed Hausas as apprentice ,I was so amazed that I had to engage him every evening to discuss about business, socio politics etc.

Do you know that in every northern town , city or village 90% probability that the chemist, boutique, restaurant, beer parlor, spare parts shop, electronics shop you will find there is owned by an igbo man.

I once met an igbo man in shehu laminu way who told me that he sells computer spares in maiduguri and that he has customers that come from Chad to buy spares and parts for their system, someone that fixed my phone in kaltungo Gomber state is an igbo engineer who served in gombe and opted to settle there.

The business network and empire of igbos is simply beyond the scope of nairaland.

You are vast,
I once handled a contract at Zaki local government, it is located after Azare in Bauch state, I am familiar with all the locations you enumerated, we currently have a guest house and living house somewhere in Gombi local government of Adamawa state

I'm sorry to say this, but your husband is childish.

If he was my husband and he starts emotionally blackmailing me like that by refusing to leave those police cells... I was going to leave him there until the police kick him out, or until he decides to leave.

As long as I'd have apologized to him and explained the reason why I got him arrested, I'd have left him there with his childish tantrums.

Maybe it's because I don't tolerate nonsense.

This is harsh and discouraging
The only reason she humiliated him with the arrest is because of his broken nature, nothing more.
While I don't encourage violence, I strong believe her response and attitude to his request for food must have triggered that.....a hungry broke man is an angry depressed man.

The singular decision to arrest him is a practical red flag sign of end of the marriage.....if she cannot tolerate and forgive his violence towards her while using other avenues to resolve it why do you think the man will tolerate and forgive police arrest humiliation from his once loving and caring wife?

Her action may be legally right but definitely culturally wrong since the story portrays it was the 1st time he acted the way HE did.

Dear Op, my people have an adage it is: Aiki lo kabo ile ejo , ka tun sore. It means we don't come back from court to become friends. Arresting your husband may be right or wrong but what happens when he is released?
If you were arrested as a wife, will you be happy with your husband and let everything go back to normal when you are released?
Especially in this part of the world.

If you still want a happy marriage after a dispute, police station should not be an option. In the sight of the law, you are right but culturally you are not.

Get elders to speak to him, I hope he listens. May God help you. This matter deep i can't think straight self cheesy

So the number of igbos in the north is now equal to the number of yorubas in the north, Nigeria is really absurd with the truth. Igbos that have whole sections in bauchi and Gombe named after them. Far interiors of yobe, like gashua ,hadejia , nguru, igbos have guest houses, also in gwoza, jos, etc

My trip around the north made me fear for igbos, I saw igbos in biliri, numan, mutum biu, funtua, kpantisawa, and one comedian wants to equate number of igbos in north with yorubas

Make una dey try fear God biko, the lies and falsification are reaching a breaking point, Tufiakwa, this is the handiwork of satanic manipulations

You don wake, there is no viable LG head quarters ,commercial towns in the North without igbo owned guest houses, and other businesses
