Business / You Don't Need Motivation, Here's What You Need! by Gsteph80(m): 9:47am On Apr 12, 2021
YOU DON'T NEED MOTIVATION!

Do you know that if you study people that are at the pinnacle of achieving something, you recognize that for them to get there, motivation was maybe 1% of the formula maybe and I'll prove it to you.

Ok, you know most of us at the beginning of the new year write a new year resolution maybe to make more money, read more books, buy a new car............. Etc.

Let's take for example, some might want to get into shape, what did they do? They go and get a new gym membership, buy a new Nike boots, suscribe to all the fitness channels on YouTube, follow all the fitness models on Instagram...........name them.

They are damn MOTIVATED!

Then with all the zeal, they go to the gym everyday, endure all the body aches and maybe let's say after a while, they didn't meet their daily Target, or fall a bit ill or something else happens and all of a sudden you miss a day, then a week, and probably a month but you have got a gym membership for 3 months! What did you miss?

LOL You thought motivation was the formula!!
You see winners don't need motivation, what they need is DISCIPLINE.

Discipline is all about getting it done because it has to be done not just because"I feel like , not because am motivated by it!"

You think Nelson Mandela was motivated to stay in prison for 27 years? Or Martin Luther King Jr to March across the states and proclaim freedom? Absolutely NO!

Check out those people that changed the world, you will recognize that they did so, not just because they were motivated but they made a commitment to do so, they disciplined themselves to see that through and that's why you have to be careful the decisions you make because once you do so, you ought to make sure to see it through.

We have to make decisions first and then the decisions makes us.

Am not trying to condemn motivation, don't get me wrong but it's sometimes totally overrated!

You know some people see discipline as some sort of ugly words because they fail to understand that DISCIPLINE is the most incredible creative force.

It builds career, it requires discipline to build a good health, discipline forms the most incredible marriage, it puts together friendship that won't quit forever...........etc.

It is the bridge between thought and accomplishment, the bridge between necessity and productivity.

Failure is not just a sudden event, it is not as a result of one major incidence, but a long accumulated little failings and procrastination; failing to think today, failing to act today, failing to care, strive, climb, learn and to keep trying day by day.

Success on the other hand is just the same process in a reverse, upstream manner.

Going an extra mile, making more steps ahead of where you are actually now.

Discipline is vital in so many ways, but most importantly is what it does for you. It makes you feel better about yourself.

Even a very little effort of discipline can have an incredible effect on your attitude and the good feeling you get, that sudden feeling of self-worth that comes from starting a new discipline is almost as good as the feeling that comes from the accomplishment of the discipline.

You most have to note that a new discipline immediately alters your life direction.
You don't change destinations immediately that are yet to come but you can change direction immediately and direction is very important.

Thirdly, Discipline cooperates with nature.
Everything strives, it is common life function of how tall a tree grows as it possibly can.

Everything strives to become all it can possibly be and that striving to become is what discipline is all about.

Finally, Discipline attracts opportunity.
Opportunity is always looking for ambition and skill in action, it taps the unlimited power of commitment, the human will in action driven by inspiration, enticed by desire, guided by intelligence can bring you to that high place called the GOOD LIFE!

So start a new process, you can begin a new habit no matter how small it is, small isn't important.
Whether or not you start or you continue that's what is important.

Therefore to have a prosperity life, start a prosperity plan, to become wealthy, start a wealth plan, remember you don't have to be wealthy to start a wealth plan.

A person with no means can have a rich plan.

If you are ill, start a HEALTH plan, if you aren't fit, start a FITNESS plan, if you wanna develop yourself, start a PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT plan, if you don't feel good, start a FEEL GOOD plan, if you can't, start a CAN plan, if you haven't, start a HAVE plan!!

Anyone CAN, even a hoodlum CAN start hearing good messages and reading good books.

Recognize that the start of the better, happy, prosperous life is TODAY! It is exciting that both the process and result can begin today.

Start the new journey TODAY!

Get some momentum going on your new commitment to a better life. See how many activities you can pile on this first day. Go all out!!!

Break away from the negative downward pull of gravity.

Start the process going, prove to yourself that waiting is over, hoping is past and that the FAITH IN ACTION have now taken charge.

It's a new day, a new beginning for your new life.

With discipline, you will be amazed on the first move you can make in the first day of your new beginning.

GO ALL OUT!!!!
