Iyaloja stuff should be restricted to traditional Yoruba markets in charge of women traders selling pepper and tomatoes , not Igbo markets

What does she know about electronics and like gadgets that she wants to lead a market dedicated to those items ?

There are no ibo markets in Yorubaland. You can find Ibo markets in Iboland, not in Lagos or anywhere in Yorubaland.

Where did they mention Amaka Sunnberger, are you people crazy?

Show us where they mention Amaka Sunnnbergerr

"the accused posted online content on or about August 25, 2024 threatening death to specific members of the Nigerian community. "

Mentioning her name is irrelevant to the story. Some of you even said she didn't exist.

Why can't you own up to your tribal bigotry for once? Why is it a characteristic to always be a coward and try to blame others when your bigotry gets taken seriously?

You can bury your head in the sand until eternity for all I care.
I was here when it started and Nigerians must know the truth. Anyone who was on this website when it started gradually would know exactly what I'm talking about.
This was even before Nnamdi Kanu and his hate mongering Radio Biafra.

As a propagandist, you can claim whatever you want. That's your problem.

Since you keep mentioning Igbo Igbo Igbo even when nobody asked, why are you then mad that Peter Obi mentioned Igbo in his statement?

Where's is the propaganda? Sometimes it is hard to face the consequences of one's actions. We warned them it will eventually come to this and now here we are, with folks who wanted to poison people.

What has Nnamdi Kanu or Amaka's tribe got to do with their statements and opinions? Was the opinion of Adeyinka Grandson and numerous others the opinion of everyone else that shared the same ethnic group with him/them?

Now back to the topic. People made violent genocidal threats against Igbos and Amaka responded with her own outburst, but somehow all I see on the news is people attacking Igbos and trying to create a different narrative.

If it's not mischief, hate and tribal bigotry, tell me what it is

Before Adeyinka Grandson Ibos were already spewing hate on this particular website.
I understand the larger Nigerian population may not know this.
It is safe to say the online hate mongering started here on Nairaland and Ibos were the undisputable culprits.

Tribal bigots like Reno do not care about what the woman said, he only cares about scoring cheap political points with his tribal bigotry.

On the one hand, how you as an irredeemable tribal bigot can be looking for something to criticize about Peter Obi who unequivocally condemned what the woman and other tribal bigots on the same social media space said, is beyond anyone, retarded at best.

You decided to only focus on the woman and her tribe when clearly people on the same space made genocidal threats against Igbos. What manner of bigotry is that?

Nnamdi Kanu once said on Radio Biafra that the "only good Yoruba man is a dead one"
This was long before the last election or the recent mad Amaka episode.
It is safe to say some ibos have hate in their hearts and many of you who support them are equally guilty.

There cannot be a contradiction in a question
It us an inquiry

One may hold the right opinion by luck not necessarily for the right reasoning

So I ask questions to understand your thinking

Opinions right or wrong are all processes of reasoning. How do you come about an opinion by luck? You were sitting in your armchair and it just dropped on your lap?
I think you were just trying to start an argument.

Did it exist anywhere at any time?

You should ask the person who created the thread about ancient democracy in Igboland.
By the way, aren't you contradicting your own statements on this thread?
I can ask you the same question because earlier you said and I quote "Historically there is nothing like an Igbo democracy . It did not exist"
How is this different from what I said?

People? Which people?
Even in a military government "people " choose. Leaders
So your definition raises questions for more definition

People
Freely
Choose

How are those things defined?

Democracy is probably impossible to define with universal unanimity

Just like goodness

A lot of people like to suggest elections imply democracy

They forget Hitler won an election

Whichever way you want to define it, my point is that it didn't exist in that part of the country as far as history is concerned.

Well depends on how you defined democracy?

A system where people freely choose their leaders. How do you define it?
Politics / Re: IGBO Ancient Democracy Was One Of The Best Systems For Ancient Blacks by Guestlander: 1:16pm On Aug 30

That is not inconsistent with democracy
There is a better refutation

I agree but there wasn't any evidence of any form of democracy ever existing in that part of Nigeria.

So how come Ojukwu was still the governor of Eastern region before the war started?

You people have told so many lies to blame Igbos for failure of your Nigeria.

For over five years now Igbos are not close to ruling Nigeria, yet Nigeria have become worst.

Get a copy of the decree, it clearly stated that all the provinces with immediate effect will come under the authority of the Federal government and went on to spell out in clear terms in what cases the government of the provinces may make laws for themselves.
It says for administrative purposes the provinces may do this or that. Find the decree and read it.
By the way, Ojukwu was part of the military council that created the decree and he was ok with it until the July 1966 coup when northerners became the new beneficiary for what Ironsi started.

Why do these people continue with their never ending lie? The January military coup of 1966 only took away democracy. Decree 34 was about the civil service, nothing more

All 4 Region's existed under Ironsi with full resource control, so how was your sovereignty thwarted? The only thing that was thwarted was democracy

It was Gowon that came after Ironsi, promulgated Decree 14 which abolished the 4 existing Region's, and created 12 states to replace them. Gowon then followed this up with Decree 15 which ended resource control. It was Gowon that introduced unitary rule by denying you control of your resources

Why can these people tell the truth for just once!

You are talking nonsense. Find the decree on the internet and read it. If you need a translation to your local language that can be arranged.
Ironsi's decree 34 put an end to regionalism. The 4 Regions existed as what? The mere existence of the Regions didn't make them autonomous states within the federation of Nigeria. That is what Ironsi took away with his decree.

YORUBA BELIEVE IT IS THEIR CALLING AND BIRTHRIGHT TO INSULT IGBO PEOPLE EVERYDAY OF THEIR LIVES.

THE MINUTE OCCASIONALLY THEY SEE ANY IGBO REPLY, IT IS FRONT PAGE NEWS.

Very rare indeed, especially if you are selective about what you want to see and hear.
