You said i didn’t pay you, what are these? Or are these not your name on the recipient account?? You this liar and fraudulent person. You insulted me and I paid even after you started raining curse on me. If i were a fraudster, do you think i would have made that payment after you rained insult on me? You’re just seeking sympathy from people here so they will support you. You lack reasoning. The world does not revolve around you. I laid all terms and you agreed to it even before we start. Do you expect me to pay for tasks that are not approved? That would be my loss. If you want payment, fix the rejections. I rewrote all the rubbish you wrote for me and it was approved once. Something that took you forever to write.
As I stated on the other thread, I submitted 12 articles to you between Saturday and yesterday. You claimed two of them were rejected.

And you only paid for six articles out of 10 and quickly blocked me on WhatsApp before I could ask for the balance.

The 6300 naira was the last payment you made for six articles instead of 10.

Did you expect to receive praises and commendation for such a fraudulent behavior?

All my articles are of premium quality.

Between last week and yesterday, I wrote a total 28 articles for you, and all of them were superbly written and approved, except the last two, which you kept bringing up new instructions after each submission, and I had to revise them for some hours with the 7 naira per word you claim you pay.

Within just one week of work, you kept on changing the instructions for the tasks, which made the role unreliable and shady.

I've kept the records of our transactions and will submit them to Upwork today.

You're yet to pay the balance of some articles you received and were approved. That's called fraud anywhere, and such is worthy of condemnation, not commendation.

Wow! Whenever heavy claims like these are made, the other party will always have a defense so I think you should call out the person and Nairaland should take cases like these very serious.
He's the OP: Divinewrites98. I've called him out already on the deleted thread and posted proofs there. He never denied the allegations.

I've also taken up the issue with Upwork, where the fraudster operates. It's only in Nigeria I know people who would be doing shady, fraudulent deals and still be talking so arrogantly even when caught.

I'll be doing a follow-up on the report I sent to Upwork about the fraudster.

Nairalandboyfri:
What is your rate per word?

That's the most important information, but you did not include it.
Work with that fraudster at your risk. You can spend more than an hour perfecting a 150-word article because the rules for the tasks are constantly changing after every submission (he doesn't know what he wants).

By the time you're done, you won't be able to gain anything worthwhile from the 7 naira per word he claims he pays.

That makes the job shady, especially due to the unclear instructions. Then, your payment isn't even guaranteed because that guy is a fraudster.

He refused to send the full payment for the quality articles I submitted even after they were approved as he stated, and he blocked me on WhatsApp before I could say anything about the partial payment.

I just reported him to the mods on Nairaland here and also sent a report to Upwork about his shady activities.

The thread has just been deleted.

I'm surprised he wasn't banned. Now, this boy is about to defraud other unsuspecting members of this forum.

Why do the mods allow this on Nairaland?

I don't know about this, I haven't tried it before.
XploraBen:

I first used my PVC for verification when I opened my account in 2022. I was asked to verify my account again this year and I used my NIN, which they accepted.

If you have a PVC, try and use it.
Okay, thanks.

@XploraBen, what about Chipper? Is it reliable to add its virtual card to Upwork for buying connects? I'm skeptical about putting funds in it.

XploraBen:

Open a Geegpay account and create a virtual card.
Fund the card and use it to pay for not only Upwork connects but almost anything online.
It's what I'm using and their service is swift and reliable.
Thank you. I've been trying to verify my ID on Geegpay since, but they didn't accept NIN as a valid ID. I don't understand. They said international passport is the most preferable form of ID, but my passport has expired.

Upwork isn't accepting Nigerian banks' ATM cards as a payment/billing method for buying connects. Any recommendations on other payment methods one can use, please?
