Auditors programme with one of our noble Mentors.
About the vacancies: 6 & 12 Months ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems Auditors programme which includes a full time (monday to friday) auditing engagement at a client site outside of Lagos under direct supervision, coaching and mentoring by the Lead Auditor (Mentor).

Qualification and requirements: 1st Degree in any Discipline and must have completed ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditors Course. Experience in auditing is an added advantage. Must also be a good team player.
Compensation: very good daily rates plus accommodation. Willingness to work outside Lagos is important. Location is in the South of Nigeria, so it's not a problem.

Training: selected candidates shall undergo some training led by the Mentor for some days before start of the auditing program. Training is free of charge.

One of the advantages of the program aside the experience is that selected Auditors will be able to accumulate enough auditing time for their audit log sheets for meeting the requirements of becoming IRCA Lead Auditor certified. Please my fellow Nairalanders, advice me accordingly.

I am a Batch A Corp member passing out soon. All these while I've been applying for jobs I saw here and on other platforms but my efforts have not yielded much fruits though I'm still hopeful.
However, I have two options I'm currently considering. One is that my PPA (a private secondary school) is willing to retain me for #22k per month with accommodation and secondly I have a job offer with an Indian company to work as a quality control officer for #25k/month.
Now my confusion is that though the Indian company is in my field but their working conditions are terrible. It entails that I work 7am-6pm, Monday -Saturday and live within the factory premises which means no visitors or free movement. But the school offers me time (I'll work 7:30am-3pm, Mon-Fri, free weekend midterm break and holiday) and freedom in case I want to improve myself in other areas.
Now should I choose the Indian company for the sake of experience or the school for the sake of time and freedom it offers?
Finally I studied food science and technology with additional qualifications in Project Management and HSE. I'm open for other job options.

Please choose the school...this doesn't mean you can't still move or get a better job in your chosen career. The school will afford you the chance of networking, attending interviews, personal development and some cash to help in your pursuit of happiness.

Like the saying goes, “there is nothing really new under the sun”, and as Bertrand Russell said, “the very best proof that something can be done is that someone has done it.” The only challenge therefore will be how to discover who has done what you are trying to achieve and how they did it. Seek them out and have them mentor you. We all need a helping hand, and truly successful people are often willing to lend a helping hand (not necessarily by dolling out their money).

The question is, “are you positioned for someone to find you attractive enough to mentor?” My advice…. seek out a mentor or two today; let their lives educate you and allow their successes to inspire you. Speak with them as often as you can; ask them how they did it, and what they think about your own dreams and ideas. In no time, you’ll find yourself making less mistakes, losing less time & resources and accomplishing more.
