Family / Re: What Was The Most Dangerous Risk You Took When You Were Younger? by hamzeiy: 6:34pm On Apr 04, 2017
hmmmm..my people mine was two Carry over exams i wrote for to freinds of mine while in 100lvl. one was a maths CO in electrical eng.g and the other physics CO in computer eng.g. both exams where written at thesame time but diff. venues.
this was how it went...
i went to computer engineering collect questions and booklets for the exam answer two questions just to ensure my guy passed his CO..all this while his classmates where looking at me with intrest wondering what an elect student is doing in comp. eng.g..the supervisor wasnt sure of what is happening and i was soo confident (foolish) to be detected..
after writing aswering the two questns b4 45 mins i ran to my own dept (see risk oh) to write the other CO for another freind but in this case i was questioned by two supervisors how i managed to have a CO and why am i late as its my department and i was well known and quite good academically. naso i form lie oh dt i woke up late due to over night reading and so on...i wrote that exam too and the both passed.
after almost two months my lecturer "the then supervisor that questioned me told me never to repeat what i did so all the while he knew i was writing for someone else..hmmm
anybody that knows my school would tell you it was the easy way to get expelled only then did i realise the risk i took and what it would have meant to loose a university admission after suffering to gain one.
i just praised God for saving my ass and that was the last exam i wrote for anybody.neco, waec and so on..am a graduate today and working but i still have a phobia for the consequence of the risk i took that day.if i was caught efo no funny..
fyi one of the guyz i wrote exam for is late today.. he was a good person..RIP BUBA

But y must tribalism continue to hunt us in this part of the world. No ONE sees anything good in good things because the owner isn't from his tribe. The FAN yogurt we use to chill everyday in hot whether is owned by igbo man Francis Author Nzeribe (FAN) yet he sited it in the northern region they didn't castigate him for that. Igbos invest more outside igbo lands so let's not dislike others who invest in igbo lands.
imagine ..i never knew FAN was even owned by an igbo..it is largely consumed over here in kaduna..no body cares as long as the product is good

Travel / Re: See The List Of The 5 Busiest Roads In Nigeria. by hamzeiy: 11:14am On Mar 30, 2017
YonkijiSappo:
This is a list of the 5 Busiest Expressways/Highways in All of Nigeria.
Cheers.

1: Lagos - Ibadan Expressway (E1).
The Lagos - Ibadan expressway is the federal highway between the most populated city (Lagos) and the largest city (Ibadan), and is by far the busiest highway in Nigeria. It connects the Metropolis around Lagos to most parts of the South West, as well as the Northern 2/3rd of the country. The expressway is the oldest in Nigeria, commissioned in August 1978 during the Military era, under the administration of Major-General Olusegun Obasanjo, who resigned on October 1, 1979, before he was later elected in May 29, 1999. It is also the busiest in West Africa, and is reputed to constitute one of the largest road network in Africa as a whole.

2: Shagamu - Ore - Benin Expressway (A121)
Frequent travelers would agree that the Benin-Ore-Shagamu road is one of the most travelled roads in Nigeria. This is the second busiest road route in Nigeria. It connects Lagos and it surroundings to parts of the South West, South South, and the South East Zones of Nigeria through Ogun, Ondo and Edo states. It is ever busy.

3: Okene - Lokoja - Abuja (A2)
Since the capital and government-seat of Nigeria was moved from Lagos to Abuja, the FCT has become one of the most popular cities in the country and its roads, some of the most travelled in Nigeria. You can enter Abuja from Suleja in Niger State, from Kaduna in the North, from Nassarawa in the East, and from Lokoja, Kogi State in the South among other major roads, but the Abuja-Lokoja-Okene express is the most-used, for the mere fact that it connect the three vibrant zones of Southern Nigeria to the national capital. Thousands of vehicles coming from the Western, Southern and Eastern parts of the country take the Abuja-Lokoja-Okene road and sometimes the Ilorin - Jebba- Suleja road into the FCT.

4: Abuja - Kaduna Expressway (A234/235)
This is another important central nerve roads of Nigeria. It connects Abuja , the national capital with heavily populated portions of the North such as Kaduna, Kano, Katsina, Jigawa Etc. It is mostly used by people from the Northern part of the country to reach Abuja and further through the Okene routh into the Southern portions of the country. It is always busy

5: Enugu - Onitsha Expressway
This road connects probably the two most important cities in the Eastern zone of the country. Onitsha and Enugu, passing through Awka, the Anambra state capital. Having been built in the late 1970s. It is one of the busiest roads used by Igbo traders and other people from the Eastern parts of the country as well as parts of Benue and Cross-river states trying to reach the Western part of the country. Hundreds of luxurious buses and trucks and smaller vehicles ply the road on daily basis and it is generally very busy.

Honorable mentions.

Enugu - Port Harcourt Expressway
Ife - Ibadan Expressway
Benin - Warri Expressway
Kaduna - Zaria - Kano Expressway
Ibadan - Ilorin Expressway
Owerri - Port Harcourt Expressway
Lagos - Badagry Expressway
Benin - Asaba Expressway
East - West Road

cc: Lalasticlala, Mynd44.

op i agree with you as i have travelled through all the roads you mentioned thanks to school, nysc, and job interviews and aptitde test wahala....but i believe after lagos ibadan road the next should be abuja-okene-lokoja road.

all those shouting aba-portharcourt road or badagry wateva are typical example of people that have never left their comfort zone.wake up guyz nigeria is wide..try traveling from taraba to kaduna withing northern nigeria ..you would see wonders

I do ask myself this same question during my I.T period in UBA, I will just hear people resign and joined diamond, zenith, gtb etc or oil companies, so I thought the later places are better until I heard about the people employed to fill thier role - they also resign (NOT sacked) from this places our former staff are running to, same reports from my friends working in other places and the issues is NOT money, some will even leave for a lesser pay
and it's not like the current employer is biting them - so why the trend?

This is the funniest comment here...Abeg is there any northerner that have been rejected to purchase land in south....well the man hit the nail by saying you guys need to be more enlightened....seriously.....how can you expect to grow wen all you do is stir up[ one terrorist group or another.... and saying the u guys dont want south to rule is laughable.....go and read the history and tell me how many northerners have ruled ngeria... come back and correct yourself........jonathan did more for you guys than to his own people stilll.....you just want to play the victim,,,,,i cant say we dont hate you or you dont hate us ,, becos in truth the feeling is mutual.
what the guy said is d pure truth..either you like it or not the southerners are so free in northern nigeria..come to kano and see igbo business men you might think its onitcha...they build houses in the middle of the hausaz and and muslim community without consequence except during religous or ethnic crises perpetrated by hoodlums, i stayed in porthacourt for sometime its even difficult to see a mosque over there or rent an apatrtment as a muslim and that is based on the fact that SS is even more tolerant than the SE..so pls lets be honest with our selves ..if you think gej did anything to northern nigeria other than bombs and distruction in the name of winning 2015 election then you must have lost the touch of reality..i can categorically tell you that gej is the most hated president in northern nigeria not because he is a southerner but because he was wicked in dealing with the mass death due to bh.. building few almajiri school wont bring back lost lives or givin public money to northern elites wont solve the problem...

Crime / Re: 2 Men Who Use Juju To Grab Lands Murdered In Anambra (Graphic Pics) by hamzeiy: 2:38pm On Mar 18, 2017
broseme:
As shared by Luchi......

'This is a heartbreaking News (just wish that the people of Anambra state will Do something about This and also put these people where they belong This is so inhuman
Attached is the dissected and lifeless body of Obalim Ezudu of Umuchegbuo kindred of Eziagulu Village Aguleri, the home town of the Governor of Anambra State.
Obalim and Chief Jude Uba were killed on the 11th day of March, 2017 by the CABAL. This Cabal, a group of land grabbers, will take your land and kill you if you try to resist them. They will annihilate or murder anyone who challenges them and nothing will happen. They are above the law. They are the Governor's brothers. Their brothers are highly placed in the Anambra State Government.
Late Obalim and Chief Jude Uba, on the 11th day of March, 2017, took men of the Nigerian Police Force to arrest some members of the Cabal at Eziagulu over a land dispute, little did they know that not even the police scares these hoodlums. Right before the police men, these hoodlums swooped on Chief Jude and butchered him like a goat. While he was still gasping for breath, they chopped off his hands and legs as they watch him bled to death. Thereafter, they burnt his remains to ashes. The police men fled for their lives.
In his attempt to escape from these barbarians, Obalim ran to the river bank, but he was unlucky.
These barbarians cut up with him and in a bid to 'punish' him for daring them, they cut open his abdomen, removed his intestine and made him watch as they do that. Obalim was still breathing when his assailants threw him into the Omabala river.
These hoodlums now roam the streets of Aguleri freely, and true to their boasting, none of them has been arrested. Everybody is keeping mute,
i just wonder Y people Stil fight over land issues;in This civilized world but Stil.no1 has the right to take another mans life(JUSTICE IS THE KEY )'.

One of the people who commented on the post named Uchenna gave a different account of what happened.According to him,the victims have been terrorising their kindred by selling their lands. They scared people with their juju.He argued that the deceased were killed by the elders of the community. He wrote...

'This is gross misinformation, madam get ur fact straight because even the police that followed them ran because it's illegal operation, this deceased dudes has been terrorizing their kindred by selling their lands and scaring them with diabolical powers, the people that killed them are the elders who raised the matter and they wanted to oppress them with Police not knowing that their end was nigh, please Miss Iwunze Luchi visit the clan/kindred involved to get your facts because they are celebrating their death even in diaspora. Thanks'

hmmm..your level of intelligence is worrisome..when war starts the sheer population of the igb.os will definately give them an advantage..comparing the entire igbo pple with a minority tribe in terms of war shows your level of clulessness (am tryin to avoid using the word stu.pidity here)....am talkin of one on one situations..you can make all the noise on earth but it dosnt change the fact that the last three boarder crises we had with the igbos of anambra had..they all ran for their dear lives youths inclusive..soooo stop the chest beating and live in peace for all the wars you participated in from the civil war to ethnic crises emanating from the igbo coup and then boarder crises ..you lost in all of them..ordinery few fulani herdsmen in south east nigeria are already keepin you on the edge..am done responding to you.get a life
